Five Roses Bed & Breakfast

I cannot thank you enough. My host was very very approachable, friendly, and accommodating. The location of the apartment is in the center of Pisa. You can basically walk to the airport and all the other locations in Pisa. Breakfast was lovely. The room was in classic design and most of all the room was Super Clean! There is a patio too. My stay is just short but I would love to stay longer knowing that the host will take care of you. Thank you and highly recommended.

There are mostly pluses in this review. Flavia is a great host. She is most helpful and gracious.
The location is only a 5 minute walk to the train station. It’s south of the river located on busy Corso Italia, a pedestrian shopping area. However nothing woke me up at night. Breakfast was satisfying.
My room was a decent size for a solo person.
The only negative I have is that I dislike those small round showers. I’m not a big person but I have problems moving around in them.

Amazing host and perfect location close to central shops and at 15 min walk from the tower of Pisa. The host was extremly helpful in providing us estensive info regarding the main attractions and the breakfast was perfect.
Even if we stayed for 2 nights, the room was cleaned after our first day.

One of the best hotel in Pisa, easy to find and parking just 50m away, and the host is very friendly and welcoming, I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and family whenever they visit Pisa.

Flavia is a wonderful host, very welcoming and friendly. Five roses is in a great location on the Corso Italia — easy to navigate your way into town and only five minutes level walk to or from the train station. The room was very clean and comfortable, the bathroom spotless, and even though our room was overlooking the Corso Italia, the double glazing is extremely effective making it a quiet stay. Highly recommended.

Our stay at Five Roses could not be bettered. Flavia was the most helpful of hosts, she went out of her way to look after us, and enabled us (both vegetarians) to enjoy meals at two excellent, traditional restaurants. She also advised us to visit some interesting sights we might not otherwise have visited. Our room, the Yellow Rose, was enormous and very comfortable. Flavia has refurbished these 17th century rooms in authentic, yet up to the date style. The window overlooked the street cafes, previously mentioned, but the soundproofing, once the window was shut, was 100%. The bathroom was also spacious and beautifully equipped and spotless. We slept well in the large bed, and the room (almost an apartment with seating and dining areas, kitchen sink, fridge, kettle, crockery etc) had good lighting, which is not always the case. You are able to choose in advance, from a wide range, whatever you want for your breakfast. Five Roses is heartily recommended.

We booked Five Roses on the back of other TA reviews so thank you everyone. Flavia is an absolute delight. She pointed out numerous places to visit with a map for us. She was incredibly welcoming and friendly. Our room was very spacious, clean and well appointed. Much better in reality than the photos actually. With sound proofed windows. To have breakfast in our room each morning was a nice surprise too. Fantastic continental breakfast spread. Bed was so comfy. We slept well! Great location just 5 mins walk from the train station. Would absolutely return. Thank you Flavia!

We have been travelling to Tuscany for many years and staying at Five Roses is the perfect place for us.
It is ideally situated being only a five minute walk from the station and only a twenty minute walk to the Tower.
The apartments are spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable with large, well equipped rooms. However, the real star of the show is Flavia who is the perfect host — nothing is too much trouble. She always makes our stay amazing whether it’s recommending and booking restaurants; suggesting day trips or taking the time to check train/bus timetables.
If you want more than just a place to stay then Five Roses should be top of your list.
