Hotel Parma e Oriente Wellness & Spa

A well presented hotel which fell just short of really good. It was very difficult to get the help we needed regarding checking in. I was separated from the friend I was travelling with, she was in the second building. I had no central light in the bathroom, was told by reception to tell the cleaning lady who just showed me the mirror light — which I could not see the first night as we arrived in the dark. The food was definitely better presented the second half of the week. The staff were generally very pleasant and friendly. I would have spent more at the bar if I had been shown a wine list the first night! I have rarely stayed in a hotel and not had a small bottle of water supplied daily!

The hotel was in a great location near to the old spa and park and a short walk in to the main part of Montecatini-Terme.
Rooms were very clean and well serviced by the friendly staff.
We were half board and the choice and quality of food was very good, concentrating on Tuscan cuisine, which staff were happy to explain the menu.
The Spa was quiet new and very relaxing, well worth a visit, although the swimming pool was not heated when we visited it was useable, noticed some tiles needed replacing on the base which is probably ready to be done in the closed season.
All in all a great stay at a very nice hotel.

This small family run hotel was welcoming and friendly with an authentic Italian feel.
Our room was on the small side and a short step outside in a small villa. This did not deter from its charm and appeal as it provided all our needs. It was serviced every day and kept spotlessly clean. The air con was perfectly balanced & kept the room at a comfortable temperature. A bonus as it was very warm during our stay.
We enjoyed the pool, garden area and drinks sat on the shaded terrace.
The menu choice in the restaurant wasn’t extensive but was varied each day with several options on the menu. The staff were very efficient.
Montecatini is is a charming town. The location is perfect for accessing the two local stations where trains leave for Pisa, Florence, Lucca and links to other major cities.
We would definitely recommended a stay here.

Hotel is well situated for wandering around the town and access to the central train station.
We visited out of season so got a good deal. Really good value for money.
Bedrooms and public areas were all spotlessly clean.
Beds were a little firm for our liking and we usually woke with a stiff back.
Breakfast was average.
Bar well stocked and reasonably priced.
12 euros per day for car parking was a bit nasty. The car park was small, only 5 or 6 places.
Staff were all very polite and helpful.

Excellent stay at Hotel Parma e Oriente. Good location and fantastic help at the front desk. We had breakfast 1 morning and late afternoon cocktails most days of our stay. Tanya the massage therapist was professional, friendly, and gave great massages and facials. I highly recommend her services at this hotel.

Beautiful hotel, staff look after you so well. Everyone very friendly — family-run hotel. Clean rooms, extra villa next door which is very private and quiet. Sheets and towels changed every couple of days. Good food, variety of options, great seating areas on sofas for comfort and relaxation. Access to sauna with options for treatments.

We were very happy with the location of this hotel. Our bedroom was clean and comfortable and staff were pleasant.
We were, however, disappointed that the air conditioning had been switched off, and although we spoke to the reception staff several times, in the end asking for simply a fan, they did not provide anything. Our first two nights were uncomfortably hot, but fortunately the weather cooled down after that and it was okay. We also had a problem with the wall safe. We couldn't get it to work and asked for help at Reception, where we were promised someone would come to our room, but they never did. The bathroom, like the bedroom, was cleaned daily, but at certain times there seemed to be a problem with the plumbing and there was an unpleasant smell.
Whilst breakfast was adequate, we would have appreciated more fresh fruit and a greater variety of cereals and bread.
All in all, it was clean if fairly basic accommodation, in an excellent location, and relatively good value for money.

We stayed for 4 nights on half board. It’s an interesting traditional hotel. The rooms were clean and beds very comfortable. The bathrooms are dated but the showers were good.
The food was always fresh with plenty on offer at breakfast and a choice of 3 starters and mains, along with salad bar, in the evening. We enjoyed a welcome drink and bottle of wine in our rooms.
The staff were very welcoming and friendly. It was good to see that they all seemed to be enjoying their work.
Our Travelodeal included a trip on the funicular up to Montecatini Alto, which is stunning. However the ‘wine tasting’ was more like a glass of white, glass of red and some snacks. Whilst this wasn’t what we expected we still enjoyed it.
Part of the hotel (next door) is currently undergoing a rebuild but it doesn’t affect the day to day running of the hotel. Work starts and finishes at a reasonable time.
The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk from Centro train station. We would recommend this hotel.

My husband and I had an excellent stay, we were made to feel welcome from the moment we stepped into the hotel. Staff were attentive, friendly and happy to help.
Breakfast was excellent, with lots of choice. Evening meal offered choice for everyone.
The hotel is ideally situated for exploring the surrounding area. Close to the train station and town centre.
Montecatini Alto via the funicular railway is a must visit.
Whilst there we both had a massage with Tania, this was fabulous. We both felt relaxed and revitalised after our sessions.
We recommend the hotel to anyone visiting the area.

We chose this hotel based on reviews here on Tripadvisor and got a good rate for our six nights direct from the hotel website. The hotel room was comfortable, and spacious with a small balcony and rear pool view. There is a lift for access to all floors. The reception provided us with a digital parking pass for the whole of Montecatini (blue spaces) for €5 per day, great value, the hotel also had a private parking garage at €12 /day. Breakfast is included in the rate and was superb, with a choice of hot and cold food. The pool is nice and a sun trap in the afternoon if you feel like a day relaxing. We did not dine here in the evening as the dining room was busy with tour groups, however, there are ample restaurants within a 10 min walk of the hotel, or as we did, you can walk to the funicular railway (€7.50 return) and get to Montecatini Alto where there are some incredible restaurants in an idyllic setting. We did have one issue — the bar ran out of vodka! a staple for so many cocktails it seems incredible that we had to go to an adjacent establishment for a drink. Not what you expect from a 4-star establishment! despite this, we enjoyed our stay, the location of Montecatini Terme and this hotel has easy access to Pisa, Lucca, Florence, and Siena by train, car, or coach tour. The staff are very helpful in assisting your vacation tours.

We are on a trip with the family, consisting of two adults and one preschool-aged child. The hotel room was generally cozy, tidy, and had clean indoor air. The room included a balcony and a bathroom with a bathtub. Despite the outdoor temperature being over 40 degrees Celsius, the room was very comfortable thanks to the air conditioning. The hotel terrace was stylish, allowing guests to enjoy the relaxed and social Italian atmosphere. The swimming pool serves the hotel guests well. Although the pool was not super large, it was sufficient for the idyllic urban setting of the hotel, with enough shaded areas to escape the scorching heat. The customer service was unhurried and first-class, attentive to the guests in a relaxed yet dignified manner. I would consider staying at the hotel again. The hotel was more comfortable than an average Italian hotel. "

I have recently returned from a fantastic experience in this hotel where we were greeted by a friendly and professional smiling staff even with children … not to mention the order, cleanliness, perfect service❤ thank you very much.

The professionalism and friendliness make the hotel its strong point not to mention the crystal clear waters of the pool where the days pass in pure relaxation … highly recommended.

Pleasant and familiar atmosphere, super aperitifs and entertainment for children on the weekend with the possibility of visiting the Pinocchio park but also of taking a trip to the sea, Viareggio is close.
Excellent start also to visit the Cinque Terre, highly recommended!

Super clean rooms, all kind and with a smile, every corner of the hotel is taken care of, they are very attentive. I immediately felt comfortable. Great breakfast! Great location!

A very nice and well-groomed hotel with a staff that makes you feel like family we spent 2 great days the pool is outstanding and the manager a golden person will definitely come back as much as we felt at home really a really great property and staff.
