Il Vicolo B&B offers a fantastic position in central Lucca opposite the magnificent S Frediano Church.
Manuel and his family are warm hosts and the rooms are fantastically appointed top quality.
I had room 4 with a view of the S Frediano Church with the Golden facade and 100 m from Piazza Amfiteatro.
Had a fantastic stay here, the rooms are very nice, good beds, good bathroom facilities, there is a kitchen with oven, hobs, microwave, coffee machine and fridge and freezer. The host is a very nice guy who is helpful. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the middle of the town.
The only thing you need to be aware of is the steps leading up to the property are quite steep, they are fine if you are able bodied but if steep steps are an issue for you just be aware of this. I would definitely stay again, we are glad that we chose this place.

Il vicolo is ideally positioned in Lucca. Cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance. We had room 4 which overlooked San Frediano Church. The room was spacious, well kept and clean with a shared kitchen with all the facilities to make a meal if needed, plus free coffee. If you have walking difficulties then the steps to the accommodation my be challenging.
Manuel was excellent host. Would definitely stay here again.
