Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. The breakfast was beyond what we expected. They had a happy hour with little appetizer foods, but no drink specials. The biggest concern was the room stayed at 25° C (77°F) even when you tried to set it lower. The location was a short walk to everything, halfway between Il Duomo and the train station. I would stay here again.

Room is amazing location outstanding. Get your food and drinks else where. 4 euro for an espresso. Most guests expect to pay more but walk outside take 20 steps and can get a delicious one for 1 euro. The staff speaks English well.

Very well located hotel in the heart of Florence. I had a small but comfortable room. Very attentive staff. Excellent breakfast buffet with lots of choice.

From the outside it seems more than it is. But considering that we are in via Tornabuoni in Florence the value for money is outstanding.

Initial room given so small it looked like a childs room. TV rubbish. Wi-Fi poor. Changed room but only for extra 40euros per night… not impressed.

Beautiful hotel with great class. Great location in the city's most chic street. Staff. Everything you want in the immediate vicinity: shops, bars, restaurants and museums. A joy for lovers of art, culture, food and wine!

Rooms were good but far too hot and no way to cool them down short of opening the windows.

Excellent location 5-10 minute walk to train station. 5 minute walk to the cathedral and Statue of David. Excellent staff and excellent breakfast!

Great bartender. Excellent martini. Very nice super Tuscan red wine suggestion. Homemade snacks for happy hour.

Great front desk staff! Location is great. Close to tons of restaurants and under a 10 minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio and Duomo. Compared to other rooms we rented in Italy this room was the most spacious… still small but not awful. They did a turn down service our first night which was a nice touch. Definitely would stay here again.

If you stay here then be ready for a 3 star experience. Go for superior rooms as the standard rooms are claustrophobic. The management needs to seriously re think as they can do so much more and make the experience so much better.

I stayed 3 nights in this hotel, welcomed and service and good, rooms a little too small in my opinion.

We stayed there 2 months ago during our family trip to Florence. We chose this hotel mainly due to its convenient location with decent quality. It is clean, comfortable, and good services. Located right next to the Hermes store in Florence.

Jr Suite was huge for European standards! Breakfast delicious and front destination very courteous. Big down side was the ridiculously slow internet.

Wonderful little hotel in the center of everything! The "happy hour" at the bar provided practically enough to eat to substitute for dinner! The room was neat and clean — and the bathroom was small but had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a convenient stay and a great staff/accommodations.

Excellent High Class Hotel directly in the historical center of Florence…

Excellent location, period furniture and very friendly staff.

Best to avoid. Great location, but NO AIR CONDITIONING in (at least) our room. The hotel's solution was to "open the window" — now my wife and I are covered in mosquito bites. Shower barely runs hot water, television does not work properly (most channels drop in/out), only four facial tissues provided per day… Overall, hotel is old, rundown and in need of upgrading. Staff are not particularly friendly either.

I was at the hotel De La Ville for a two-day Conference, luxury service and convenient location. Recommended.

This was a great location for our group. We all liked our rooms, ask for one with a soaking tub, if that's your thing. Breakfast was perfect. Nice lobby and staff. I would stay here again.
