Beautiful hotel filled with antiquities, friendly staff, a breakfast not to be missed.

The Hotel and staff were amazing. Cristiano at the front desk was so accomidating. WHe as very well versed in English. My husband accidently dropped 40euro on the floor and the maid had it laying on the coffee bar. We rewarded her for her honesty. Staff was helpful with directions and restaurant and tours. Located on a quite St conveniently located. We were offered tickets to the opera house which had a violinist and piano player. Last night the concert was an amazing pianist. Their breakfast was. Delicious every morning. I would definitely stay here is I were to return to Florence. I give it 5 stars.

A beautiful, central and historic place which won't disappoint you. The staff was very professional. If you are looking for an affordable atmospheric place in Florence, that's it. The only thing I would add are some protein alternatives for breakfast, the breakfast is a bit too monotonous.

A boutique hotel with nice character, quiet warm ambience and good location. Nice helpful and attentive staff all round. Each room has a different character to it. As with most buildings and streets in old town Florence, this building has an interesting history. I would definitely come back if I am ever in Florence.

Lovely hotel. We selected the hotel because it bears our surname, but were pleasantly surprised at the accomodations and attention to detail. The hotel is an authentic Italian villa with all of the modern conveniences. We had Wi-Fi and adaptors for all of our appliances. The shower was small, but very modern. We had the triple room, because our adult daughter stayed with us. Her bed was in a separate area also with a courtyard view. Breakfast is served by the staff in a very elegant dining room. The hotel is within 10-15 min walking distance to all of Florence's shopping and attractions. Definitely one of the highlights of our vacation.

Christiano turns this 3 star hotel into a 5 star experience. From his personal knowledge of Firenze shared so that you can fully embrace all the city gas to offer, to the level of care he gives to each guest. An amazing experience we will not soon forget! Along with a great morning cappuccino.

We had a spacious, beautiful and clean room. The staff was extremely courteous and professional, plus a very good breakfast. The location is very good, walk between 10 to 25 min to pretty much anything in Florence. Compared to a number of other hotels we stayed in in Italy, this one is one of the best. Tip: book your room really in advance, you can save a lot.

The building breathes the air of the golden Florentine past and the staff compliments it with a skill that will leave you feeling like a royalty who has just reached its summer estate. The breakfast was served by attentive waiters, and the smell of paatriee was accompanied by a scent of fresh flowers, present on every table. It is a small hotel and for us a gem to which we hope to return one day.

My husband and I stayed in Florence for three days and this hotel was one of the highlights of our trip. The hotel was absolutely beautiful. We loved the common area and our room. The decorations and furniture were elegant and tasteful. More importantly, the staff was professional and extremely helpful! On numerous occasions, they have surprised us with their exceptional services. On our arrival, the gentleman at reception sat down with us and walk us through the city map …and all the tourist attractions. He also gave us a timetable of all the museums in the city. Then he took us to our room and quickly explained how everything works. Another time, we missed our taxi arranged by our tour company in the morning. Another gentleman at reception contacted the tour company on our behalf and arranged another taxi for us. He was extremely helpful when it is not even his responsibility to do this for us. We would like to say thank you to all staff at the hotel. We very much enjoyed our stay and we recommend this hotel anyone who wants to visit Florence.

Hotel Morandi alla Crocetta is a very good and charming hotel! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice and good! Only a short walk to all of the most beautiful sightseeings of Florence. We enjoyed our stay and I surely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to go to Florence.

Beautiful antique hotel in a great location with one of the most helpful friendly staffs I have ever encountered.

The staff were the biggest positive about this hotel. They were all friendly, helpful and informative. The hotel is quite old and tired. Very scratchy blankets and uncomfortable pillows and mattress. The hairdryer is prehistoric and had badically no force. Sound travels through the hotel too. Breakfast was continental — can't complain about it and is served in a cosy little room with table nicely laid out.

Unfortunately we only stayed one night but we were made to feel at home! Very nice Hotel, cared for in every detail. Very friendly staff :) Thank you.

Hotel that does not pay mine outside but pass the door, a waouwh very pretty rustic interior and vraimant well maintained the rooms are very beautiful certain with also a WAOUWH the staff is very simpstique and always ready helped. Very nice and well presented. The gentleman at the front desk came to help us park the car in a small locked garage. This hotel surprised me well. Super. I recommend for a visit to Florence.

We were only there one night unfortunately, but with the urge to go back again.
Often we are in Florence as a couple and this hotel perfectly matches the city, it is charming, artistic and well kept, as well as there is great service and cleanliness.

We just returned from Italy and stayed at Hotel Morandi alla Crocetta with my husband and two college age children. It was lovely. Not only was it a beautiful hotel, but the air conditioning was excellent as the days creeped into the nineties. Breakfast was very nicely done. The staff was very helpful and gracious. I loved the location as well. It was walking distance to the train station and major sites in Firenze. I would stay here again and recommend it to my friends and family.

I stayed seven nights and returned for another three. The hotel and staff are truly special. It's quiet, relaxed and I slept like a baby every night. During my 6 weeks in Italy, it was by far my favorite and it wasn't the most expensive either. This is my first online review: I wanted to express my gratitude for how well they treated me and for maintaining such a beautiful place to come back to each day.
