Amazingly historical building, gorgeous grounds, fabulous pool, hot tub & spa. The level of knowledge and helpful local dining, biking, and personal catered care was exceptional. {Order a fresh made Negroni at bar…trust me, it’s spectacular. } Fun-Fact: Houses the largest private collection of art in Italy. Stunning pieces all over the building, and the grounds.

The grounds are beautiful, but the staff was what amazed me! They went above and beyond to make our stay a true 5 star experience.

Is a once in a lifetime experience. Beautiful and Gorgeous. But very expensive. The most I have spent at a Four Seasons. For that amount of money, I thought the service could be a little better or you should have a butler. Some extra amenities. Hello, it’s the Four Seasons. I had asked for something to be ironed and I asked if it was complimentary. Probably a language barrier because they said no. Only to get a bill later for 200 Euros for ironing four dresses. Lord have mercy. Also I felt some of the staff was a little uppity. Like I get it, you work at Four seasons. But baby, I’m spending my hard earned money here. Respect that. I would only come back with my points because I would be homeless if I spent any more money here.

I was at the atrium bar for lunch. Great atmosphere. Great service. Very good wine list. Food ok but not exciting and overpriced. A milanese steak 50 euro. A bite of tasteless foie gras 36. Etc.
But I love the place so I keep coming back despite this. Not for foodies, but yes for all the rest.

Everything about this hotel is 5 star the staff, grounds, rooms, food and ambiance. It’s a must if you are coming to Florence.

History, luxury and service… FS delivers again. Our stay was exceptional. The staff were attentive but allowed you space. Highlight was without a doubt the poolside summer Trattoria. Exceptional dining with all your classic dishes, great DJ with funky that made for a great vibe.

We took our 89 year old Mom for afternoon tea and a walk through the gardens. Delightful dining by a very professional staff. Friendly, thoughtful and courteous. Absolutely the perfect afternoon!

I’m really not sure how anyone could have rated this any less than a 5*. The staff are attentive to every need, the food is amazing, the people are exceptional and the historic grounds and ambiance are beyond compare. There really is no comparing this to any other lodging experience in Italy. The price is very high, but I have paid much more for a worse experience, you really do get what you pay for, and if you have the means, this is an experience that is worth every penny and will not soon be forgotten. My only concern is I brought my young children here and they will likely be disappointed by all future hotel stays.

Absolutely stunning. So many memories in this hotel. Gorgeous area, you’re in the city but when you enter the Four Seasons it feels like you’re suddenly in the countryside. It’s amazing. Food is delicious, pool is fun and great place to relax. Changing rooms are outstanding, steam bath, sauna and amazing showers. 5/5!

Wonderful wedding beyond expectations. The staff seemed to be very attentive and the grounds were extremely picturesque.

An Unsuspected Park in the heart of Florence really large (Garden of the Gherardesca), perfectly maintained, decorated with sculptures of famous artists. In the restaurant Il Palagio, "The brunch" is of a stratospheric level, the work of a Michelin-starred Chef, impeccable both in the variety of the buffet and in the absolute quality of the food and wines served. Price adapted to the place, to the service, to the dishes and to the wines served. Absolutely to try. Long wait for the reservation.

One of the nicest locations in the city in Florence. A very sophisticated environment surrounded by greenery and a few steps from the centre. The staff were very helpful Rooms or suites at the best Italian Hotellerie. Customer expectations widely met. Great restaurant. Not to be missed, even for a weekend.

Unfortunately I entered the hotel only for aperitif and dinner. Elegant and relaxing bar room. Sophisticated but excessive atmosphere. All cured with maniacal care. Every detail is not left to chance. Delicious cocktails. One of the most beautiful and exclusive appetizers! The building looks like a museum, it makes everything surreal. It would be nice to come back often!

Crazy unbelievable hotel with a huge private garden. Beautiful buildings hundreds of years old, but fully rennovated with all the amenities you would expect in a 5 star hotel. Great spa, great staff, great food.

This hotel is one my worst experiences in five stars hotel. They do not deserve as many stars. Upon arrival, at noon, my room was not ready. I made my reservation more than two months before. They found me a room around four pm in their annex, across the garden. It was raining cats and dogs, so we refused. I had to receive a fax the following day. They did not bother to handle it to me, let alone put it my room. By the way, the same happened with my luggage I on recovered in the evening of my arrival. The organisation of the desk is really bad. To pay some much money for such a bad service, is not worth it. If I could have avoided that … hotel.

The hotel is very nice and the staff are very polite. However, invited to present my company to a very large group of tourists I was welcomed to say the least badly by Ms. Minkowitz, responsible for the management of such tourists. I was placed inside a dispute, where to pay the consequences was me, that I had to present my event to four people for nothing interested. That's because Mrs. Minkowitz had the brilliant idea of boycoting my presentation. Impeccable hotel, but I suggest to the management to eliminate any form of contact with this petty person.

Siamo state lì per un caffè all'Atrium Bar. Alcune incomprensioni iniziali con il personale ci hanno portate ad un'attesa estenuante in piedi e senza servizio. Abbiamo avuto un'esperienza piuttosto confusionaria con lo staff (all'inizio ci hanno detto che all'esterno non era possibile consumare cibo, ma poi il cibo ci è stato portato comunque un minuto dopo) — ed un piccolo disguido per cui al posto di un succo d'arancia è arrivato un cocktail di arancia e vermut bianco. In ogni caso lo staff è stato gentilissimo — soprattutto Niccolò, il nostro cameriere — e sono stati tanto cortesi da offrire le consumazioni a tutto il tavolo. Sarebbero state quattro stelle (era tutto buonissimo) ma le tre stelle sono per una macchia che non ci saremmo aspettati — I bagni esterni del giardino erano non funzionanti ma accessibili. Questo ha portato a qualche momento d'imbarazzo che dalla nomea del Four Season non avevo preventivato. Va benissimo che non siano funzionanti (può capitare) ma ci sarebbe dovuta essere l'accortezza di un fuori servizio alla porta.

On the occasion of the Open day of December a nice occasion in which to walk through the beautiful garden of the hotel, to buy at great prices some products of various kinds coming from the supplies of the hotel and also dining. The proceeds to charity. Great experience.

Luxury place, to highlight the calm and refinement. The staff are friendly and courteous, the service definitely accurate and satisfying. Every detail is taken care of is almost impossible to find a defect.

The brunch is extraordinary and you can stay there for hours, the buffet is incredible quality, diversity. We'll even be used directly in the kitchen with the chefs who welcome you to the kitchen!

What should you say about a hotel like that? If one can afford it, it has a service at the height of the expensive expectation. Location not exactly central in town but for many this will be an added bonus.

Very, very luxurious. Palace and Tutti quanti! Gastronomic meals. Dream breakfast. Only downside. No indoor pool.

If someone wants to enjoy a comfortable stay without getting too much of a hit, this is the right address.

One-of-a-kind experience. We were at the Four Seasons for brunch. Great quality as always is great choice inside the buffet. Prices are high but in line with the service they offer. I recommend it to all those who want to make an exceptional lunch.

I attended the open day of 17 December last organized by Four Seasons to raise funds for the reconstruction of the schools of Livorno unfortunately damaged by the flood, and on that occasion it was possible to visit the beautiful and ancient garden The hotel has to offer. What about it? Wonderful Location perfect organization, kindness courtesy welcome for a day dedicated to solidarity… 10 and Praise!

Absolutely the best hotel in Florence! Already only for the park would be worth the visit! Services at the top and location fairytale, sleep in the heart of Florence and feel in a fairytale is priceless!

I was at the Four Season Hotel for the traditional Open Day Christmas day. As always the place is magnificent and the attractions for The little ones are not lacking. Only negative the amount of food for lunch is not enough for the amount of people who attend the event every year.

Had their so called brunch which is a actually an incredible banquet High quality, exclusive, VIP service beautiful historical buildings and gardens.

Simply fantastic place. Great food and location. The garden is magnificent too. In a quiet area close to the city center you will find this hotel that surrounds a resourceful garden. Excellent for a getaway.

Service overall here is seriously lacking. We arrived a little less than an hour before the official​ check-in time, and were told that only one of our two rooms would be available. Understandable, but we were tired and just wanted to get to a room, so I asked if I could pay for an upgrade to a different room, if available. I was told there was an upgraded, much more expensive room available now. Great! I agree to pay the upcharge, and then am immediately told oops, actually that room isn't available either. Finally get to a room. Nice view. My plans change a bit, and now we want to check out a night early. But now I'm told I'll still be charged the full rate even if I have to check out early, because I have an upgraded room they're unlikely to find someone else to rent it at the last minute! There's just no emphasis on taking care of the guest here. You might as well save your money and stay at any 3 star hotel, because the Four Seasons nickel-and-dimes you like a 3 star hotel anyway.

Stunning Property. Historically restored to grandeur. The staff are wonderful and go beyond any expectations you may have. Very helpful and polite. Our room was situated in the Villa and overlooked the gardens. Can't imagine all the conversations held there over the centuries. We would go back in a heartbeat.

1. Worst check-in ever. We arrived around noon, I made a note during reservation about early check-in. Then we spent over 30+ mins on reception waiting while lady scanning our passports on 2 or 3 different devices. After 30 minutes of this disaster was told that there is no ROOM ready for us! Are you kidding? Why not tell this from the start? OH MY GOD! Then we’re were advise to upgrade our current room for additional €450 per night but this room obviously was ready now! How clever! Seriously? 2. Then we spent one night (thanks god only one night) in your hotel and in the morning we found 34 (Thirty FOUR! ) Mosquitoes on the walls & ceilings. Moreover only my six year daughter had 54 bits on her body which last until now. We already visit a doctor with this matter. They swallow and itching pretty bad. Me and my wife have dozens of bites too. Do you know that mosquitoes shades were invented in 1860? Long story short I’m returning customer of Four Seasons but YOUR hotel is the worts in the world for this price range I think.

Wherever I travel, I always like to visit the Four Seasons Hotel and Florence is hands-down the most elegant of them all. The property is so tucked away, you could miss it walking down the street. Sit by the pool and enjoy a cocktail or stroll through the gardens and look at the beautiful art. You could spend a whole day here, but you'll want to explore the Florence attractions right outside the hotel.

All the staff works very well. It is possible to organize unique weddings and events in the luscious garden with the Brunelleschi's Cupola view, or in the Conventino. Possibility to have music until late night.
