It is a lovely place, the rooms are quiet and the welcome is warm. We eat very well! And with a nice view of the Duomo. We are very happy with our stay and recommend this hotel to discover Florence.

Will not be staying here … if they can’t be mindful of their government’s edict to be quarantined! Yes … they didn’t create the virus … but the are also not living up to their supposed customer service.

Amazing, hot spot and friendly staff. I will be back for sure!

Highly recommend choosing a room with a view! Looking out at the Duomo from our room was amazing. The room was on the small side but still had everything we needed. The bed was comfy, it was clean, and I loved the lotion they provided. The breakfast was pretty good, I loved the honeycomb. They also had gluten free bread!

This is our favorite city in Europe so far, and Hotel Duomo Firenze is a big part of that. The location and room are magical. The staff was exceptional, and breakfast was so beautiful and elegant, I will have good dreams about it for years to come. I plan on staying in Hotel Duomo Firenze every time I travel to Italy.

Nice and kind service, they have a home-coming feel. Rich and nice breakfast which is worth costing €12. Close to station.

The view from room 31 is so nice, we ordered take out and ate in the room. Fabulous private paradise.

In my oppinion it is hard to find a better location in firenze than this. In front of the dome and lovely stuff.
We had the luck to have a balcony with dome View and that was awesome!
The room was a little bit small, but that is addicted to the City.
But the room was always clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed our Stay.

I love staying here! Modern rooms, friendly staff, and I even love the elevator which is about 100 years old. Also, the views of the Duomo are beautiful. I can't wait to return!

Five friends and I stayed here during the Christmas holiday. Breathtaking views from our rooms! Outstanding location and within walking distance to anything and everything you'd need or want. To top it off the staff was wonderful! Friendly greetings each time we'd arrive/depart and happily answered any questions we had. They even made restaurant reservations for us and suggested a phenomenal place to enjoy a Florentine steak! Florence is one of my favorite places and I will definitely return to Hotel Duomo!

Hotel difficult to access by car, but the rooms are pretty and clean unfortunately the room is poorly soundproofing features. The top breakfast. The random reception.

The rooms are so-so. The view of the Duomo makes it unique.

This hotel is FANTASTIC! The beds and pillows were soft and comfortable. We had an amazing view of the duomo from our room, it was truly breathtaking. They were incredibly helpful and gave us dinner suggestions and even called to reserve it for us. It was so nice having a place so close to the center of everything, that way we could take short breaks in between things. We didn't have the breakfast but it looked very nice and they had lots of suggestions. You will not be disappointed if you stay here!

Best thing about this place is LOCATION! Brunelleschi's dome was right outside my window! Amazing! Rooms and showers small, but clean and comfortable. Hotel staff was great and breakfast was amazing also. Highly recommend!

Friends stayed here for and we stopped in for a visit. The main lobby was quite nice, very small elevator. Drinks were excellent.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel while visiting Florence! The room and bathroom are spacious and we had a room facing the Duomo. We had floor to ceiling window that we could open up and look out at the Duomo which was lovely! The hotel staff was very nice and coordinated reservations to skip the line to see the David and booked a car transfer to Tuscany as well. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great location — — literally you'll walk out the door and boom, there's the dome. Outstanding breakfast included in the common area. Everything in the mini-bar was complementary. Really nice spacious bathroom with good shampoo. Helpful staff. Nice decor. The bed is a bit hard.

The hotel was close to everything and had a great view from of the Duomo. The rooms were nice and roomy and we got free use of the drinks in the fridge. Not five stars because breakfast wasn't included and the price of the hotel changed from what I was originally quoted. Also, they don't let you take the key out of the hotel.

Fantastic rooms across from the historic center of the city and the Duomo! Centrally located only 10 mins walk from the train station. The staff were superb. I highly recommend springing for the rooms with Duomo views as ours was worth every penny to see and hear the sights literally across the street. Highly recommended!

I stayed here this past summer on a trip throughout Europe, and it was definitely one of my favorites! There is nothing like being so close to the Duomo you can almost stick your hand out and touch it. The location could not have been more perfect! You must try the gelato place right outside, as well as the pizza place on the corner! Our room was great, staff were friendly. The only complaint I have is the tiny little elevator. I would definitely recommend to someone else, and I hope and pray I get to visit Florence and have the pleasure of staying here again!

Small but comfortable room… bed very convenient. All clean and tidy. Serene climate. Absolutely recommended. We were on January 2, 2017.

If you want to sleep in front of the Duomo it is there and not elsewhere.

My wife surprised me with this hotel for our last trip to Florence. I've been a huge fan of the Duomo since high school and finally getting to see it was really cool. What was better was that it was across the street from our hotel! You could look right out your window and see the iconic dome. The staff was very friendly. Only issue was there are some stairs to navigate and that can be rough with heavy bags. Located right on the Piatza it was a short 10 minute walk through the city from the train station and it was centrally located to everything that Florence has to offer. No commute was great. Breakfast is available for an extra 10 euros a day and Wi-Fi was a dream. Free mini bar (though it wasn't restocked daily) and extremely comfortable bed.

The hotel was excellent. We could see the entrance to the Duomo from our room window. The staff was friendly and the room clean. The breakfast was also very good with lots to pick from.

Beautiful! If you have the opportunity to climb the tower or the dome, my opinion is that the dome, being higher up has the better view. 15 euros gives you access to the cathedral as well as the other buildings in the complex which include two small museums. It is also in the centre of Firenze and a good point to start your day at.

If you go to Florence I highly recommend this hotel. If the window looks to the outside you will see the Duomo, the deal is good and the room clean… highly recommended that you have everything at a stone's throw away. I recommend you go to the dining room to get some pictures from the outside.

Cathedral and Dome in the entrance of the hotel: You can ask for more? Large rooms almost perfect.

Difficult to find because the gps takes you down the side of the hotel and does not have a sign obvious says pretty boy the name, but that is a problem if you are going by car. The gps will take you as I said for the rear and as soon as you turn these out there, stop get out and look and find, the car stops and they carry it to the estacionamiendo. In this case the location is everything, next to the duomo practically, surrounded by businesses. The attention is very good It has an excellent restaurant with a attention out of categorica how good it is.

Wonderful Hotel! Litterally close to the DOME with a very amazing panoramic terrace! Staff is one of the best i've never seen and the breakfast is huge like a 5 stars Hotel! GO GO GO.

Imposing, majestic. Dominates the historical center of Florence. Seeing outside or have a lot of patience and make the Moon lined up to visit the Interior.

My wife and I spent 3 day here with our 7 month old. We were in room 27, looking directly at the duomo. The staff was excellent, helpful and very friendly. The room was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The breakfast was simple but very good, and the 2-person elevator which you have to take up to the fourth floor was an adventure in itself. You couldn't ask for a better location in Florence. We had a blast while we were in Florence, and it was so nice to have a hotel right close to everything, so that we could easily duck in for a quick rest in the hot afternoon. I would definitely stay here again next time I go to Florence.

I loved this little hotel. It is central, clean, nicely renovated and a bargain for the price. It was also quiet with comfortable bed. One of the desk staff was kind of snooty, but everyone else was pleasant and accommodating. Big disappointment was instant coffee at breakfast.

The hotel is located right in the heart of Florence. It is within walking distance to all of the major attractions. The hotel is very clean. The ladies at the reception desk were extremely nice. They helped in acquiring tickets to area attractions, and suggesting good restaurants. The room and bathroom were of a nice size and very clean. From the room is a view of the Duomo. You can't get much better than that. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Florence.
