Il Giuncheto is a beautifully run hideaway. Stylish yet welcoming, with apartments that are tastefully finished, truly well equipped, and spotless. The team delivers standout hospitality—proactive, kind, and professional—and they helped us organise a special occasion with care so we could simply enjoy the moment. The pool quickly became our daily ritual for unwinding. And the homemade food is fantastic: generous, flavorful, and clearly made with pride. We’d return in a heartbeat and recommend it without hesitation.

I dare say this was the best holiday we’ve had so far. The place is extremely charming and impeccably clean. The hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming, and they gave us great tips on what to see in the area. Breakfast was excellent, and dinner – which they also offer – was simply phenomenal. Surrounded by fantastic nature, stunning views, and a wonderful pool, we truly recharged our batteries. We only wish we could have stayed longer! We will definitely be coming back.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights following our wedding in Sinalunga. The staff went above and beyond in ensuring our stay was everything and more. The property is beautifully tucked away in the hill with only 5 spacious bedrooms with gorgeous views overlooking the Tuscan hills. In addition to the beautiful property, the staff is what really made this place stand out. They greeted us upon check-in, helped us remove our luggage and upon request they made homemade lunches and dinner that you could tell were made with love. We couldn’t recommend this place more.

This is the most beautiful, relaxing, special place to stay. The rooms are stunning and the service from the ladies first class. Everything you need is taken care of. The breakfasts are amazing and served outside in the terrace. Every other evening, Sonja cooks a 4 course dinner. If you are staying here do not miss this. It is some of the best food you will eat in Tuscany and so reasonably priced. We were lucky enough to be there in truffle season and the truffle pasta dish we had was simply the best pasta we ever ate. Congratulations Sonja you are a wonderful cook and hostess, it was an absolute pleasure. We will return one day.

We enjoyed an amazing stay at Il Giuncheto. This was our favorite stop in Italy. Sonja made sure our stay was magical and the food she prepared was better than a Michelin star restaurant. We will be back next year as long as Sonja is there. This location is a Tuscan dream. You will love it.

Amazing place with warm welcoming hosts. Very clean rooms and fantastic breakfast. Hope to be back some day. The hosts Angela and her son domenico are very nice and accommodating.

After travelling thru Italy and staying in small hotel rooms, it was so nice to be staying at this hotel. The rooms are spacious, well equipped, with lovely views across Tuscany.
The weather though was not warm enough for us to enjoy the infinity pool, but the hotel is a great location to base yourself, and travel to the many wonderful Tuscan towns. Florence circa 90min drive.
Would recommend.

Honestly we have never felt so welcome in any place where we stayed. People really make this place and it is simply great. The owners are kind, helpful and warm-hearted. We loved every moment of our stay and we will definitely be back. Grazie mille per tutto!

Il Giuncheto is a dream. Beautiful, immaculately clean suites. Phenomenal food — both breakfast and dinner — by Chef Angela. Superb service by Angela, Gaga and Domenico. Perfect location for daytripping to Montalcino, Arezzo, Cortona, Montepulciano, Pienza and even further afield. We loved everything about our stay!

A beautiful family run property with only 5 rooms on site. Quiet, homely, very spacious and amazing attention to detail. Beautiful home cooked meals too with delicious drinks by the pool at very affordable prices. Couldn't recommend this place more — one of the best stays we've had!

We had a perfect stay here. The property is situated close to so many wonderful towns/wineries/activities. The location made it easy for us to explore in all directions with only a short drive. It is also close to a couple of towns in case you need groceries or pharmacy. The owners are lovely, welcoming people and made sure our stay was perfect.
The breakfast spread is divine, I felt like a celebrity eating here each morning. The views from the pool are stunning as well. The rooms are well sized, with plenty of bedding and pillows.
Make sure you eat lunch and dinner here at least once as well. They also have activities you can book such as bikes and horseback riding.
Would be an amazing location for a small destination wedding as well. 100% will recommend to others.

Absolutely amazing accommodation if you are looking for a relaxed trip here in Tuscany. Family-run business, Domenico and his mom are super friendly and passionated about what they are doing. In addition to very good complementary breakfast, we also had two dinners, the food is simply delicious! We will definitely be back for another time!

Il Giuncheto is a lovely place to stay in Tuscany. The setting is beautiful, and our suite was clean, spacious and comfortable, with a modern bathroom. It was a very quiet setting. Breakfast was included and was bountiful and delicious. Angela made eggs to order as well as coffee or espresso. Fresh bread and croissants were brought in daily by Domenico, Angela’s son. We also had dinner at Il Giuncheto twice. Everything was fresh and delicious. The pasta was outstanding. Domenico and Angela, the hosts, couldn’t be more welcoming, friendly and helpful. The location was convenient for visiting multiple Tuscany destinations such as Pienza, Montepulciano and Siena. We can’t wait to return.

Our stay at il Giuncheto B&B was our favorite B&B during our 4-week holiday in Italy! We were met by a very personable, energetic and helpful Domenico. After checking us in, he brought ALL of our heavy bags upstairs to our room and then treated us to a welcome glass of wine. We enjoyed our spacious suite with a luxurious bathroom, then explored the beautiful grounds of the property. It was a bit too early in the year to enjoy their beautiful pool, but I can definitely picture us enjoying during a future visit in late summer.
The breakfasts that they provide are quite exceptional, with many choices of both hot and cold meals. Domenico gets up early the visit the local bakery to pick up fresh pastries and croissants, which go quite nicely with a variety of coffee options. We met Domenico’s kind & gracious mother Angelina and she made the best scrambled eggs that I had ever eaten!
The real treat came later after returning from a day trip to Val d’Orchia and wine tasting at Montepulciano (at winery recommendation from Domenico). We were tired from our travels and decided to head directly back to the place to eat at il Giuncheto. We were surprised to see an extensive dinner menu and ordered the Florentine steak — wow! The B&B also stocks a wide assortment of local wines, so I ordered a Montepulciano wine from the Antinori family that complemented the meal quite nicely.

Extraordinary place to say the least wonderful x who wants to spend days in peace and quiet is the top.
