Great starting point to visit the most beautiful Tuscan villages, and even Civitella is definitely worth a visit. Quiet inn, with rooftop breakfast terrace and hot tub available to customers. The restaurant's cuisine is also great, congratulations to Alessandro both as chef and for the welcome!

I was there with a friend on our way back towards Siena. We ate sublimely. The location is very nice and cozy, situated in the centre of Civitella Marittima. I would definitely recommend it.

Location a few km from Siena along the way to the sea towards Grosseto. Traditional décor with fireplace. Last night great dinner of white truffle and Chianti.

On the way back from the sea, we stopped at the restaurant for a quick lunch. Our intentions are changed when we found out the menu, tasty reinterpretations of traditional dishes and flavors into new imaginative combinations. Welcoming, friendly staff, the location, and what good, moderately priced.

Inn perched at 320 m. S. L. D. M. Immersed in beautiful countryside halfway between Grosseto and Siena. Great place to spend serene days in tranquility. The rooms are equipped of the necessary for proper comfort. The restaurant is large with diverse environments. In summer you can dine on the shaded terrace. Last but not least my judgment on dishes made with real local art teacher, reminiscent of old flavors in many areas of Italy now lost. Definitely worth trying.

On our bicycle tour in Oct 2007 we happened upon this wonderful little hotel by chance, but it was our last hope for a place to stay that night. We were delighted with the beautiful rooms, and Alessandro and his wife made us the most scrumptious dinner. We were the only ones in the hotel that night and there were just 6 couples for dinner. Alessandro is part of the "slow food" movement in Italy, where your dinner is your evening's entertainment. I had the local delicacy, Cinghiale, and it was the best. Alessandro picked out a wine for us which was delectable. This small town does not get many tourists so the people are warm and gracious and unpretentious. The most memorable stop on our two week trip.
