A must do if you visit Meran/o and like a beautiful walk. It is very accessible (I did it with a pushchair) and the panoramic views are amazing. There are some places to eat and drink along the path.

Beautiful in every season: in Winter, in the evening, during the Christmas period, it offers a splendid view from the top of Merano decked out and illuminated before descending and entering the city. With the promenade on the long Passirio you can walk a small circular ring in and above Merano. Really nice, not difficult and walkable even with pushchairs and small children.

No matter what time of year, the Tappein Trail is a place where you forget the worries for a short time because walking here is simply "just" beautiful and does a good, age does not matter, with growing age even more pleasant as far as health allows and if you have something to Eating takes with you and on the many seat benches lingering you forget how time flies. Just try and be even more beautiful as a couple.

Beautiful panoramic walk just above the town of merano. There are several bars and restaurants to stop for a snack. To do with calm and chatting, enjoying the cool of the afternoon, summer evening or any time of the Spring and the autumn. Not to be missed absolutely.

Here you can drink very good freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices.

Beautiful walk. Compliments to the city gardeners who really do an outstanding job. The fresh river flowing by, the smell of the flowers and plants make this a really refreshing and nice walk with plenty of things to see.

If in the winter months is affected by the cold of the city by April, becomes a really nice path that runs through the whole of the most "romantic" of Merano. Note: there is both summer and winter. Try.

Wonderful route, easy realxing, the whole family with kids can enjoy the view of merano from a bit higher. The route has a part long the river, very calming. There are small herbs garden to check out on the route as well. There’s also some restaurants along the way and hotels.

Gardens that seem to come out of the picture of a painter! Each flowerbed has a theme to if everything executed perfectly with combinations of colorful flowers. It's beautiful to walk around in a great place.

It is a beautiful and relaxing walk for both children and adults. One of the most beautiful Merano and surroundings is without a doubt the Tappeiner Promenade, a path of 4 km which runs along the Monte di Merano (Küchelberg) about 100 m above the city. It is considered one of the most beautiful walks in Europe and offers a mix of alpine and mediterranean, in combination with a wonderful panoramic view. The lush vegetation with pine, cedars, cork oaks, eucalyptus, bamboo, magnolias, agaves, aloes and prickly pears gives the walk a pleasant mediterranean atmosphere.

Nice place where to have a romantic walk.

It is a walk that I recommend to everyone, young and old. Easy route and even along, but really lovely and charming, completely immersed in greenery and with a beautiful view on Meran. We have always done in the winter and we found it beautiful, let alone in the spring or in the fall…! It starts from Porta Passiria, or better, from the gardens along the Passer river which, along with bridges and small waterfalls, it gradually becomes more and more charming. Or even from the centre of the village going up from via Galilei. Council to arrive at least to the Powder keg, and if you can't sit on it (you do not pay, but there are many steps…), to admire one of the most beautiful views of Merano.

Yes, to be in Merano one day very little. We will be glad to return to this wonderful city, and there is something to see.

In principle a beautiful promenade above Merano or A nice way from village triol to Merano. Magnificent views. However, sometimes very poorly signposted and hardly recommended with prams. Especially the relatively new lower part is designed so that every 10 meters a stair step comes. This may be a little better for pedestrians, but the horror of a stroller.

Best for the Full viel of Meran. The Route is suitable for children and elderly.

Ideal to observe the city from above, to see details otherwise difficult to notice thanks also to the instruments present on the path. Do not miss the climb on the powder keg (ancient defensive tower located along the path…) Open to the public, from which you can observe even more wonderfully the city, the valley and the magnificent surrounding Alps. Also recommended to dispose of excess calories!

Pleasant Discovery We found the entrance to this trail by accident and it was a pleasant surprise.
It is a beautiful walk suitable for all, great little ones especially if you to a dog as a result.
The Walk is uphill and while you follow it you can admire Merano and all its valley.
On the way a beautiful view is also located a garden called ' flavours ' (or something like that). Everything is very well cared for.
In one of the various deviations that are found during the walk you will also find the signs to go to Tyrol, a beautiful village, but in the period that I have gone without inhabitants.

Very Nice. Beautiful walking alleys with many different plants near each have their own plaque with the name etc. Walking around Tapayner You have the opportunity to make a chic photo. Very picturesque places open to the eye visiting tourists.

Miles of south-facing hiking trail along the hillside about 100 metres above sea level over Merano. Wonderful views, beautiful exotic plant life.

Super way above Merano with refreshments. Afterwards you can make the Algundy forest path, or hike up to the village of Tirol.

Beautiful hiking trail. You can admire countless beautiful plants. It is about 4 km long. You start right in Merano.

If you come to Merano, you can't miss the Tappein Trail from the Powder Tower to the Algunder Waalweg. Possibly. Return by bus. The three to four kilometres are worthwhile. Halfway through is a public toilet. In addition, opportunities for contemplation. Halfway up between Merano and the village of Tyrol. A beautiful view of Merano and the Middle Etsch Valley.

Best way to get an overview over this beautiful city. Recommendation: leave your car at the parking space Kurt Wolf and go from there until the end of the Tappeiner Promenade to get to the Lauben street.

Fantastic views of the city and surrounding landscape. Vineyards, steeples and mountains can be taken in from the viewing benches. There are also a few restaurants/spots to have a drink along the promenade. The climb up the old fort tower is worth it for the views from the top. It is quite a steep walk up to the promenade — we managed it with a pram but took some pushing!

Very nice way, many photo opportunities are waiting along the way. The view is beautiful.
