The rating refers to the restaurant and in particular to the service not up to the height of a 4-star hotel. We were served by a lady who after asking if they had gluten-free or lactose-free meals told me that they had none other than the buckwheat cake which is mixed with other flours anyway. I noticed from the look that he was impatient. I then asked for the first dishes what was the difference between a small and a large portion (and I was referring to the amount or weight in grams) and this person even with the gestures of his hands tells me with a dry tone "Madam! small portion is so, large portion is so. " He takes orders by snorting. It's not over. My husband gets a fruit tart with a scoop of ice cream. They bring him a slice of "frozen" cake where the dough was raw and a scoop of ice cream. My husband gets up because he can no longer intercept this person's gaze and he points it out to him. The answer was that the ice cream scoop did cool the cake! Nothing else. I quickly finish my first dish which sincerely was good and I immediately go to pay. It doesn't charge me for the cake but it makes me pay for the ice cream scoop that my husband hadn't eaten! Congratulations!

Unique location, great views, excellent service. The food convinced us with regional products, freshness, variety and expert preparation. Family-friendly, but still with class. The riding stable offers unique experiences with Haflingers.

Hotel Restaurant Reiterhof. Very nice both the place and the location with the church of Sankt Kathrein. Large parking lot, large playground for children, terrace for outdoor dining and 2 very large and elegant interior rooms. Bath downstairs. Spa area for the hotel with pool. Great Reiterhof in the next building to rent, learn and walk around with horses.

An enchanted place, very kind and professional management, wonderful rooms and suites with luxurious bathrooms. Very refined cuisine, in balance between sophistication and local tradition: a menu that amazes and pampers you every evening!

A fabulous place in both summer and winter.

The riding stable is terrible: unfriendly staff, blunt horses, harsh criticism of children, not arthritis, inappropriate use of the whips (motto: If it does not do what you want it will be beaten) … In the end it was a total failure and the expensive money was not worth it. What a pity…

One of the most beautiful places in South Tyrol. Pleasant luxury in the hotel, real attention to detail everywhere: in the suites, in the great wellness area and in the restaurant. I would give away six stars without hesitation… In addition, the magnificent view of Merano and the mountain landscape — here you know what recreation and deceleration can mean. Just go there — if you are looking for a holiday away from the hustle and bustle, you can't do anything wrong here!

We were in March for two weeks in the hotel guest. To anticipate it: reality has exceeded our expectations in all:
The hotel itself with his suite in which we stayed is high quality. The location is unique. The rest there perfect. There are more than enough walks from the hotel. And all are so wonderful that you want even more away from this magnificent mountain world.
The food is lovingly, more than adequate, and very good. The sauna area with three different saunas, one with panoramic views and a spectacular relaxation room with view of the mountains could be better. The same applies to the indoor pool that performs well in the winter in the open — at least 26 degrees.
Last but not least are the hotelier family and their employees by selected cordiality and helpfulness.
