We went to Bolzano Bozen for 3 days. We had to laugh (and cry) because we requested a double room. When we registered and received the keys, we went up to our room only to find 2 beds, foot to head. That was their "double" The hotel is more like a dormitory, but yet it is a place where people gather and meet. Would we stay there again? Doubt it, but it was clean and well taken care of.

The Kolpinhaus is centrally located in Bolzano. The rooms are newly furnished, very well maintained and functional. Especially ideal for small groups and also single travellers. The house is specially designed for seminar participants, so in terms of service it is not directly comparable to other hotels. There is plenty of room for meetings, such as at the cafeteria, the outdoor area or the chapel. Breakfast and lunch are offered with self-service, comparable to a canteen. There is a very good selection and everything tastes great.

Very clean and reasonable prices.

Clean and nice simple hostel rooms. Breakfast is very simple as well. For 105 Euros per double room for one night the breakfast is too simple and breakfast bread run out by 8am already. I think that's not acceptable for the quite high price. One positive point is the free car parking on Bozen White labeld parking spots with the Kolping House Parking Card which can be rented at the reception. Wi-Fi internet was extremely slow and stopped working after five minutes even as the signal was strong. Only private cellphone internet connection was available for me for the night.

The hotel os OK, the Room I stayed os a little small and I could hear the people on the other room. Breakfast at restaurant os very good, not many options but at least health.

Clean environment, good service overall but considerably hard to reach by car; the position in the center of the city makes it an ideal location to start your trips to the castles or the museums.

I went to Kolpinghaus to ask information about a room for a student for 1 year. I also had lunch there. The rooms are quite small and the minimum of people for room is 2. Prices are similar to the other hostels. There is no parking available for cars or bicicles. The lunch was good, but there is no choise about the menu.

The structure looks new, the room is comfortable, everything very clean and staff very friendly. A very central location. Only flaw is Wi-Fi that I have ever worked.

Excellent structure, similar to that of a student residence, with single beds, but comfortable. Very clean Hotel. Only drawback is the noise: the walls are very thin, and feels perfectly well what happens in the adjoining rooms.

Very nice staff, good drinks. A Little expensive. Nice indoor design.

The property is maintained in excellent condition. Rooms are spotless and perfectly organized. Mattress comfortable. Underfloor heating and cooling. As this is not a hotel do not expect a material or design from a 4 star hotel. But the aesthetic from the functional point of view of cleaning, in my opinion, this structure, the 4-star hotel deserves it completely.

From how I was greeted by the receptionist I immediately changed destination. It's the place for me nor I would recommend!

Centrally located opposite the University. The rooms are spotless and the breakfast is very rich.

Beautiful city, clean and quiet room. Bolzano is always a pleasure to visit and spend a short break.

All spotless and very welcoming. New fully appointed rooms. It is possible to have a hearty breakfast in the morning included in the price and 12 about opens the cafeteria offering a full meal costs about 10 euros. All products are fresh! The staff is very friendly. There is a chance to stretch out in the yard or use the organizer or several studio rooms. There is also a chapel as the hotel is frequented by people especially religious (Kolping is a blessed).

Very good new hotel. Modern comfy rooms, good bed and pillow, air condition etc. It's a bit expensive but ok. From the top floor there is nice view on the mountines. Breakfast very good for 2 stars hotel. There are meals everyday for lunch and dinner but a bit high price, 15eur menu with drink what I find expensive for a student house. Staff is friendly.

South Tyrol not one of the cheapest areas is no different in Bolzano. We were so glad to have found what cheap. It should centrally, have a parking lot and some are for one night. Voilà, the Kolping House in Bolzano.
Yes, it's a bit like in a Catholic Youth Hostel. No double beds and many Christian symbols. But it is located in the city centre of Bolzano and offers a good starting point for exploration.
The staff is very very friendly and super friendly.
The decor is somewhat old but still good.
The breakfast was ok, who here super seeks Assistant for the price.
To the car park: log in the reception and then drive into the garage. Although, parking costs €13, this eliminates the annoying search in downtown and the car is safe.
