Smart, clean, and welcoming hotel. Very central to main area of Riva. Beautiful surroundings. Food was good for a 3* hotel, something to suit most people. Staff 1st class. Room was quite small for 3 adults, but immaculate. We had nice balcony with lovely view of mountains. We will be back.

Beautiful green hotel resort with lovely interior decor & peaceful garden area. Staff are excellent especially Andreas the head waiter. Would recommend especially for older generations as all floors have lifts and the hotel has a relaxed ambience.

Good location, nice interiors, very lovely garden and pool. But! There is no candidate in the room, and music from the nearby hotel from 7 a. M. To 1 a. M. Is played outside the window. The bathroom is in terrible condition, the water from the shower does not go away, the faucets are dirty in rust and lime. And that's at such a cost per night! In general, mixed feelings.

Just arrived back from a wonderful holiday at Lake Garda and stayed at the Hotel Brione. Really homely, hotel rooms spotlessly clean. The restaurant very pleasant but did get quite warm could have done with the air conditioning working better. The restaurant manager was fantastic and very very efficient. The hotel has a beautiful pool area and grounds and is very close to Lake Garda. The only down side was that even though I realise this is only a three star hotel the main sitting lounge is very dated and could really benefit from a facelift, the bar area was not manned and had to wait quite a while for a staff member to attend. The breakfast was ok not a great deal of choice, would have appreciated fresh juice also the evening meals were basic and tasteless. Very disappointed that not enough fresh produce used, it appeared to be tinned or frozen vegetables. This hotel could become a four star quite easily, unfortunately the food falls short but all in all a good holiday.

Pleasant hotel in attractive grounds, though close to a busy road so can be noisy. Rooms are clean and comfortable and was nice to have a balcony. Food was well cooked and plentiful, service pleasant and efficient. Head waiter particularly so. Would be happy to stay there again.

Bad! Had rooms to the street, among us smokers … moved into the room, meat (beef roast) for dinner raw/bloody … Chef waiter unkind … not recommended!

This is a quality hotel. Rooms are well appointed and clean. Staff are all friendly and keen to please. Food and service is excellent. My only complaint is the noise which emanates from the garden area where snacks and drinks are served at weekends. At the road side of the hotel the noise from traffic is bad enough at weekends without this additional annoying noise. Had it not been for this aspect of our stay I would have awarded this hotel 5 stars. Riva del Garda is a beautiful place with amenities for all for a holiday experience although I imagine it could become very busy indeed in high summer.

Great hotel with very good food & atmosphere.

Beautifully clean, food superior to a 4 star hotel in lake Como I stayed in 3. Weeks ago. Riva del Garda is lovely too, the super weather being a bonus.

Hotel was immaculate. Food was good. Staff were very nice. Only one bad point (forgive the pin) the electric socket was virtually un reachable being stuck St the back of a shelf in the bedroom. Awkward to reach and a bit dangerous without an on/off switch.

The location is good. Everything else is mediocre. The hotel needs a facelift and some renovation work. The lobby is newer, but the rest of the hotel and the rooms are from the late 80s or early 90s. Either way it' time for an update. Also, our room didn't have a mini-fridge/bar which just seems weird. And when we asked the staff to cool a bottle of wine for an hour, they refused. I even told them that I am willing to sign a waiver form, if they're afraid of losing it or breaking it. Weird. Also, if you decide to book this hotel, be careful! Air conditioning is NOT standard in their rooms, and it costs about 40 euros more (Read that again, rooms with AC are 40% more expensive, which is just obnoxious! ). In a place where temperatures can get up to +38 C (100 F) I thought that AC is pretty standard. I was wrong. So we had to sleep with the windows open — which is pretty difficult because the streets are pretty loud with motorbikes and parties. The electrical outlets are also located in very odd places. They are either way up high, so you can't even charge your phone, because it just hangs and falls, or they're by the windows somewhere (where there are no tables) so you have to put your phone on the ground. And the outlets in the bathrooms don't work unless the lights are on. So if it's morning, and it's light out, you still have to turn on the lights so the outlets can work. Seems very strange and silly. The breakfast is pretty standard, nothing special.

Nice hotel but bad service, don't go if you have pets. Pets allowed but with a thousand limitations (and this involves limitations also for the master that cannot make use of dining areas and pool) (might as well not accept), clean rooms, but cn one outlet in the bathroom, bed uncomfortable, no Wi-Fi, only nice thing, when you close the Windows disappear all external noises, so quiet. The dining rooms very nice and bright but excellent buffet breakfast but not plentiful (if you arrive shortly after the other risks to find shortly). Good location, far from the Center but in a way in which nothing is missing. Great view of the Lake but still not satisfying. Nonexistent parking. I put 2 stars for the poorly received and the limited services for those dogs.

Stayed here last week and it was a great place to stay :) the gluten free food was amazing and I recommend it to all off the gluten free people out there. The people where awesome and I felt like I didn't want to leave : (
