Great hotel with the best views of Taormina bay.

I highly recommend Villa Greta. We have been coming here since 1990, the last few years a little less. Elena and Alessandro are super great hosts and chefs. Breakfast, as well as hot and cold dishes, are fresh and deliciously prepared. The rooms are very clean and cozy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back. We recommend to browse in the old guest books, there is the life of Villa Greta.

Family owned Hotel with a stunning view to Etna and the coast directly from your breakfast table. Breakfast with a big selection of bread, Cornetto, toast, cakes and cookies. Italian salami, cheese, marmalade and honey. Also fresh fruits and juices. For coffee I recommend to order an espresso. Otherwise you can only use the normal filter coffee. Dinner isn't cheap, but it's fantastic and worth to try. The sword fish was amazing! Service was good and friendly and sometimes even entertaining. You can feel that it's family owned. It has it's own charme and we felt very comfortable. I recommend this place!

Fabulous views of Mt Etna.

It was a little bit of a restaurant. Restaurant normal prices not adequate. Unique positive location with stunning views of Mount Etna and the sea.

Very bad, some steps and on the reception and for breakfast, and on a stop.
Buses go rarely about one way fare worth 1, 1 euro. Older people do not recommend. Toll KO for the kind of pay is not worth it.

Everything is perfect, from the reception to the room without forgetting the kitchen of standing.

Very comfortable, it eats well, good relation price quality.

Because it is in a wonderful location and there is a courteous service and Simpstico.

This villa was definitely a highlight of our taormina trip. We had a great view from our room (superior room with mountain and sea views). The public terrace is accessible to all guests. Breakfast every morning was plentiful with lots of variety. The staff in the hotel definitely understand the age old concept that a guest is sacred. The rocca is easily accessible from the location: a 10 minute walk up. The bus stop which can be used to go to castelmola or the train station is right outside the hotel in front of the terrace. Overall a beautiful stay.

This hotel exceeded my expectations, the view from the room was breathtaking, the room was huge and the breakfast was more than enough for what we paid. Which was less than 25 euro per head each night in the month of February. I would only like to point out that they have a bit of stairs and no lift so if you are not able to take this kind of strain on your body please reconsider. But apart from that it is amazing.

Great view from the terrace. Our Superior Double room however was not worth the price paid. Water for the shower just lukewarm and not working showerhead. Towels for nothing soft and only a couple of outlets to be able to recharge the smartphones. Decent breakfast but with only packaged products. Probably more suited to foreign tourism than Italian. Convenient access with steps in the center.

Beatiful view, nice and clean place.

Nice view from our room. We liked the breakfast area. Room was clean but dated. I did not give it 5 starts because our room's AC was not working properly. It was very hot in Taormina this day in July 2017. Our friends room's AC worked spot on. Management checked it and it was putting out cold air, but not enough to cool the room. Management should check and replace the units or get them in working order. You can't fool a one guest when they can just compare the temperature from one hotel room to another when you are staying with friends.

Stay at the moment here, rooms clean and warm panoramic view and well connected, restricted menu given the period but all good. Ok also in the presentation of the dishes.

Nice place in Taormina to stay. Located on the scenic steep slope with Etna view. A lot of stairs inside — may be problematic for disabled guests.

Villa Greta is a small tipical Sicilian hotel, family managed, overlooking Taormina gulf and Monte Etna, surrounded by mediterranean vegetation with its pleasant scents. Great terrace for breakfast and dinner, I reccomend half board to have time to enjoy the sea. It's just few minutes walking up hill from Taormina city center and few minutes drive to Castelmola, that you absolutely must see. Looking forward to came back!

Great value, great sea view, clean and with new furniture, personal service and really great (from Hotel more than two stars), even HD TV and free Sky channels.
This Hotel is spread over several floors connected by staircases, uncomfortable for people with special needs.
Only real drawback the slight smell of drain in the bathroom and shame about the lack of attention to detail in some elements of the room.
Ultimately, to be a two star hotel, for sure very good.

I stayed at this property this summer. There is a beautiful view of the sea. The rooms are a bit small and dated though quite clean. The breakfast is modest, the service is bad … the waiter was very rude. Overall I recommend it to anyone on a budget and for those who need to spend a few days in the beautiful Taormina.

Rustic and quaint … Room well taken care of. Air conditioned. Clean bathroom. Small terrace equipped with deckchairs, Sun umbrella, table and chairs, great breakfast. And finally breath taking … Etna on one side sea on the other. Great price … What more do you want from life!

Very nice hotel. Has only a 2 star rating but feels a lot more. Great views overlooking Taormina and Mount Etna to the right. Nice breakfast and friendly staff. Only a 10 minute walk to the center of Taormina with it's many fashionable shops and terrific restaurants and cafes.

Bare and wet room. The AC gave off a bad smell. The toilet broke. The second day nothing at breakfast. I mean, if it weren't for the beautiful landscape that you enjoyed from the porch, we ran away from the first day.

Very friendly family-run hotel, very nice hosts, friendly and smiling. The view from the terrace was incredibly beautiful and after all that was said here, I can do nothing, except to wish you a nice time on holiday in Taormina.
