I cannot fully evaluate the standard of the original room as there was an issue with my reservation. However, I can share my overall experience of the stay and the host. Upon arrival, Frederica immediately contacted me, and although I am not entirely sure what the problem was, we waited for Giuseppe, who kindly drove me to an alternative location.
The new accommodation was slightly outside the center, but it offered a beautiful view, convenient transport connections, a pool, and a spacious room. Giuseppe was extremely courteous and even offered to drive me to and pick me up from any spot. The original location, as I had read in reviews and noticed when walking from the station, is indeed very well situated and serves as an excellent base for visiting the main attractions.
Overall, the host’s helpfulness and the experience as a whole definitely deserve five stars. I highly recommend this place.
Really bad experience. Staff is nice but this place can use a remodeling and some maintenance. Location is good even the building is too, but specially bathroom needs some love. Shower hardly works, and condition of bathroom was really bad. The pillows look so dirty too. I do not recommend this place, is not worth it at all.

I visited Palermo from Germany recently and spent a week at this accommodation. It was a very pleasant experience.
It is located at a long street called Corso Calatafimi that leads directly to the old town with the main tourist attractions, such as the cathedral. You can walk there from the accomodation, it takes about 15-20 minutes.
The owners of the accommodation, Giuseppe and Federica, are very likeable and friendly people who go to great lengths to make their guests feel at home. As it was my first time in Sicily, I particularly enjoyed being able to chat with them every day. It made me feel like I was staying at the home of friends and family rather than at a hotel. In normal hotels, the situation is quite anonymous. So if you want an authentic experience and want to meet real Sicilians, you should choose this accommodation. Giuseppe and Federica embody genuine Sicilian hospitality and warmth. I thank them for the great time I had in Palermo; they have become friends to me. I will gladly come back.
