Pros: clean room, good hot water, free breakfast. Cons: madhouse breakfast, unorganized front desk, no help calling cab, mysterious toenail clippings under bed, cleaning ladies barging in half hour before checkout while still in room.

The room was clean and spacious. There was no air ventilation in the bathroom. The staff was helpful but we had an issue with the parking (there was no free parking space) and they told us to park behind some car that led to them calling us at 6 am to repark the car and being yelled at from the other guests that were stuck without taking any responsibility. And all they said about this incident was: I'm very sorry.

Not chic, but quite comfortable and clean.

Very small Hotel From the room to the breakfast. Rooms with bathtubs and old tents, to be replaced with a simple shower. Pure Carpet little cleaning. Present dirty towels on the first day.
Breakfast miserable some empty brioche and no cake or other dessert for breakfast.
Away from the center.

I spent three nights there. It was a very nice hotel. The hotel is far from the village. My room was on the third floor, the balcony overlooked the hotel parking lot. All the time without stopping day and night I had to suffer the noise of a generator or chimneys of the kitchen. The staff were very poor They ask among other things the payment on arrival. So unpleasant stay.

I attended a course on the floor — 1 so I can't drive the rooms and their cleanliness.
As far as the common spaces are cared for and cleaned. However the toilets at floors 0 and — 1, the free ones I mean, while being clean they don't have hot water…
The staff is nice and friendly. Always smiling.

Great Hotel in Palermo. A bit far from the city center but we managed to get anywhere as we had rented a car. The room is very clean and wide. Free parking available. Very professional staff. Highly recommended.

Hotel outside the city centre. It is equipped with bar, reception open also at night, wheelchair-friendly entrance, as well as parking. Mini Bar in the room, and several restaurant rooms. Maybe I didn't happen in the right room, but the food wasn't exactly the best… weak points of the room: The centralized air conditioning is impossible to regulate, it is the bathroom without air intake…

The hotel room was nice. The shower was great. The thing was that it must be travel season because there are so many kids all over the place. Running around the lobby, riding the elevators and pushing all the buttons. They are just being kids but after a long day of work, I came back to the hotel and having to deal with that was a little tiring.

Hotel claims 4 stars but it looks and feels like a 2 star: poor Wi-Fi, old furniture and bathroom, thin walls and loud water pipes. On the plus side: private parking, thick blinds.

3, 5 stars. Operative reception staff. A little bit old furniture, diverse breakfast.

Astoria Palace Hotel – Palermo (20.03.2018) Magnificent hotel with formidable facilities. Free Parking inside the Hotel enclosure. Great and spacious reception served by helpful staff and eager to help. Two of the girls who attended spoke Spanish which provided information and paperwork. The room was spacious, comfortable and well-decorated. Great window that being on a high floor offered very good natural light. King size bed and nice and soft-touch quality sheets. The bathroom was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast in a nice and well-assembled dining room. Good assortment of different options of sweet and savoury with the exception of the industrial juices that were undrinkable.
It is a bit secluded from the historic center and the adjacent streets were very dirty, perhaps because right there is the Central market for fruits and vegetables.
However I see it as an excellent option for your stay in Palermo where you can enjoy magnificent monuments. For the hotel category it has a very tight price. I recommend it.

Bad experience and thankfully just for one night. On arrival in the room known immediately that it was not cleaned properly. Cigarette butts on the balcony floor and not the night before but definitely for several days. Bathroom not properly cleaned with the presence of hair on the floor or on some sanitary. I immediately complain to the front desk and make sure they send someone to fix it. Return to the room after half an hour and the cleaning done was limited only to sweep the cigarette butts in the balcony. New complaint and subsequent cleaning of the room (this time we say acceptable). Dinner made even in the hotel already paid at the time of booking. Nothing to say about the quality of the latter but about the professionalism of the restaurant staff. While I was still dining with Bill at hand they remind me for more than once that the drinks are excluded and that I will have to pay them right after dinner at the reception. I say you have a credit card to guarantee, from which you have already deducted the amount that you have at the time of booking and while dinner pester me to pay you the drinks immediately? Do not list further details because I think it is not worth it, but mine was a bad experience, and having shot several four-star hotels, in my opinion this facility does not deserve it at all.

Despite the view is not breathtaking, the Hotel is all in a positive way: the rooms are large enough and are equipped with the necessary for a good stay.
As for the food, this does not stand out but is good and the service friendly.
Some rooms and sections of the structure are a bit empty and bare but liable.
Budget all in all positive.

We spent four days in February to visit Palermo. It was a great place to have a car park. Basic but clean rooms. Great and plentiful breakfast. Very helpful and friendly staff.

I was at the hotel Astoria for an event. Good service, great meals, average quality food, nice staff. Ability to handle events at large numbers (we were a few hundred people) admirably. Good experience overall, I would go back.

The rooms need to be renovated!

Not sure how it classes a s a 4 star hotel, but it's nice enough. A little rough around the edges here and there, but nothing too serious to complain about really. The air con in the room was broken (only cold air & it was February) but they supplied a heater which did the trick. Breakfast buffet was nice.

A bit older hotel but all clean and good standard.

Horrible without heating or stove breakfast more or less good rooms but no heating is 3 star No 4 fault heating for 3 days (and I do not know if more) expensive laundry, Wi-Fi walked more or less.

Old rooms, dirty, noisy. Far from the center facing the fruit market in a degraded suburb of Palermo. Good restaurant.

Excellent large clean room with toiletries. Perfect breakfast, complete variety of continental n English breakfast with so many different brioche, cakes, sweet breads. Jam, butter, Nutella, yoghurt, cereals… Everything to a bright morning start. Amazing n friendly Staff. Thank you you for your wonderful hospitality!

Definitely very mediocre. The staff were very friendly and thuggish. My husband and 3 more friends run the marathon today Sunday will end on the 2pm and say they can not leave us a room to be duchen after, that the check out is to the 11h, unfortunate… Breakfast pretty bad TB. We won't be back hotel old.

Clean and tidy compared to other hotels in area. Parking is a bit small but free. Breakfast is fine if someone likes sweets.

Excellent hotel, but unfortunately the proximity of the fruit and vegetable market and the port. So if light sleep you will experience a bit of discomfort in the early morning hours. A bit of chaos at the reception if I arrive more groups at the same time.

Wonderful staff very kind and helpful. They very dedicated helping me on my persont problem with documents. Also the rooms are big breakfast very nice and huge parking area inside the hotel.

Large room, self service full breakfast, slightly ageing hotel! Do not pay the full price search on Booking or other discounts.

Rooms are dated, however well maintained. Sheets were fresh and room was cleaned nicely. The bar on the roof has some nice coktails, prices were normal. However the rooftop is most often closed for private parties. No swimming pools or hot tubs (not like the pictures). Upon return to the room the second day the card had stopped working and we were locked out. Reception fixed this problem. Food in the restaurant wasn't bad. But neither was it plenty, or amazing. Good for a 1 night stay, not any more. Hotel is surrounded by what looks to be favelas. Trash is all around the streets and the smell on the street is unbearable.

Very elegant Hotel with large halls. The breakfast is wide and quality with sweets made at the moment is great croissants. It offers the possibility of internal parking according to availability. Recommended for the value for money!

A good hotel but that requires a raffrechissement.

Great place to stay huge selection for breakfast rooms where nice and big and well looked after the only reason why I'm not giving it 5 stars is because they had us waiting for nearly 45 mins to go to our room as it wasn't ready when he originally said just wait 10 mins it should be ready. Apart from that great place to stay.

Comfortable rooms, great breakfast, free parking but dirty halls, away from the center and old construction.

Room Bathroom correct. Ets near the city centre 10 mn on foot.
On the other hand, panoramic terrace never accessible, occupied every night for private receptions with a lot of noise and especially music until very late at night, so impossible to rest.

In an area somewhat depressing, dirty and noisy, it's not even close to the Center. Over the years were finally removed the dusty carpet but it takes time to restructure it and give it 4 stars. I remember eating discreetly.

Used only on the occasion of conferences. Several rooms very spacious and organized with the projector. The lobby is very large and comfortable.

Huge hotel with small modern rooms. Bad leaves to be desired. Restaurants good and clean. Varied breakfast buffet. Secure Hotel. WLAN available.

Hotel is in a good condition. Personal is very friendly.

In a slum, dirty, away from it all, and the hotel leaves much to be desired. I'm not coming back.

The hotel is far from downtown, in a neighborhood with a dirt and a little light that invite you to not go out at night. The air conditioning broke down constantly, and when it worked (it is true that there were slow to fix it), just served to cool the room. By a problem of the agency, had booked two nights more. Of course shrugged their shoulders when I talked it over, claiming that it was paid for and could not me a refund. I proposed to them that at least they offered me a dinner, but told me they could not. There is only Wi-Fi in the lobby, which tends to be crowded and with the air conditioning of the same style of the room (to survive). In summary, I will not return not even if I give away the stay.

We were there about a month ago, stayed one night, we found staff very helpful and friendly, the restaurant was excellent with very helpful, the room was clean the only drawback: not working the hair.

Really middle if the road, no way this is 4 star, maybe 20 years ago. Now it's a regular low maintenance tourist factory.

I did not like is located in an area away from the Center. And it charged a tax of 2 EUR per night there alogados.

The hotel is under renovation and slowly renovating all rooms with many comforts.
Three times I hosted in rooms more or less dignified but never superannuated.
I recommend it for the beautiful terrace.
