The Garibaldi hotel is great both as staff and as cleanliness.

Thieves squad with blessing of the management! Think twice before booking here! Hotel Garibaldi really helped ruining our first lovely stay in Sicily! 100 euros were stolen from our room but the management didnt mind to investigate this any further.
Explanation from the recieptionist was that the lady who attends the room works for the hotel for years and has kids which makes her honest (absolutelly ridiculous).
— There are no cameras in the halls so they cant verify if someone else entered in the room out of privacy reasons (love their privacy).
— On top of all according to the
receptionist (asian looking) our room was not tidy and we had things on the bed so we were lying lol.
— Another tip from the reception desk — if we wanted the goods protected we should have kept them in the safe. Apparently what is not in the safe is a shared good haha
A simple SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIECE, we will investigate this further or something similar would have helped but ofcourse kindness is luxury. We arrived in the hotel around 19 pm and waited for the room additional 20 min, check in is after 14 pm tho. In a rude tone we were told "You have to wait 10 min for the room! " instead of "Would you mind to wait for 10 min due to whatever the reason is" (politeness is not their thing or maybe english is not their A note) The location is cool. The room was clean. The breakfast is nice and accurate for the price. The Wi-Fi is horrible!

We booked a night in this hotel. As we arrived the man at the reception told us, that "something went wrong", but they have a good "alternative" for us. In clear words — they had an overbooking and don't want to upgrade us, so we can stay in the booked hotel. The reception made sure to tell us that the hotel were they deported us is absolutely the same quality.
To make long story short. We have been in better asian hostels with no stars, compared to the "same quality hotel" Cristal Palace Palermo.
When we came back the next morning after a very short night because of the discomfort in the very dirty and cold room we wanted to talk to the hotel director. He decided not to talk to us and just let the reception tell us, that he cant to anything its the fault of Booking. Com. I dont who made a mistake at what moment, mistake can happen — this is not the point. The point is that the Hotel Director has not even the balls to stand up and try to solve the situation with disappointed guests and customers. Thanks for nothing. This can happen to every single one of you, so better dont book this hotel, they wont solve your problem.

The hotel is modern, right in the center of the city, next to the street with shops. The rooms are very clean, safe. The air conditioning was cracking all night, it's impossible to sleep. Breakfasts leave much to be desired. We live in skating in another hotel, there is something to compare — meat and mozzarella sour, there is impossible, croissants are not fresh, some buns doughnuts, looks diverse, but it tastes disgusting. If you need a hotel in the center — yes, perhaps, and choose what to eat for breakfast.

Great location. Kind staff x competent. Great breakfast. Good cleaning. Only bad thing the noise of the old town disturbs the night's sleep.

Very good location and nice big room and bathroom. We were in a 2 separated beds room. The breakfast is also really good.

Room facing Politeama Square seemed to sleep in the street. Mattress and pillows We forget but in line with many other hotels. Breakfast So so Definitely the whole thing not up to a 4 star.

If anything, it's only acceptable if you can book a room backwards. Otherwise a hotel where you can't sleep, and then what to do here? Room forward to a large main street does not soundproof, the air conditioning on the fourth floor defective, which probably no one is interested in the management of the hotel. As well as traffic on the main road, a club on the opposite side is roaring loud music into the air until the morning hours from 11pm. Hearter steaming the noise without going crazy. So, fingers away from the reservation button.

VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS HOTEL We arrived late to the hotel and the two rooms we got were standard king bed rooms. One of our rooms was right next to the movie theatre which was horribly loud until 2 am. The other room the shower was clogged and over flowed. When we told management they moved up to a superior room. What was very disappointing is that they refused to refund or discount our first night since we booked through Expedia and took no responsibility that it was there fault. We recommend looking for another hotel in the city center. The breakfast was not appealing at all and none of the staff spoke English to assist us. Palermo was a beautiful place to visit but don't book and waste your money at Hotel Garibaldi.

Room OK but noisy breakfast to review.

Hotel was very good. Breakfast was excellent. Stuff only did not want to make fresh coffee. Coffee from mashine was not good. Very comfortable hotel room. Parking near by house is free for example in the via Domenico scio in the street. Location of hotel is perfect for sightseeing.

We stayed at this hotel last weekend and had a great time, the professional and helpful staff greeted you with a smile from arrival to departure, the rooms are clean and spacious, a great private bathroom. Breakfast is great and plentiful for both salty and sweet. The location of the hotel is perfect, allowed us to walk around to visit the city, but wanting a few meters there are all the bus stops even those that go to the airport. It was a pleasure to stay in this property.

We stayed at this hotel last weekend and had a great time, the professional and helpful staff welcomes you with a smile from arrival to departure, the rooms are clean and spacious, a great private bathroom. The breakfast is very good and it is very nice. We took advantage of the restaurant for dinner and were pleasantly satisfied both for the taste and for the quality and quantity, as well as for the proper price. Mr. Gianfranco recommended and followed with great professionalism. But all the staff from the front desk to the manager were admirable. The location of the hotel is perfect, allowed us to walk around to visit the city, but wanting a few meters there is the bus stop. We also took advantage of the airport shuttle with a subsidized price, with considerable savings. It was a pleasure to stay at this property.

Good morning I couldn't help but communicate it, to say that I've been to this hotel x twice in two years this year was the third year I made the Befana Bridge with the family and honestly I felt good, this year I booked two xro rooms, about two days before I cancelled an x health reasons of the other couple, all communicated by email, on the return home I find myself charged on the credit card two rooms to be pressed that they if I have to be honest had informed me that a room could not be more undone but the point is not this, meanwhile on my arrival no one told me that then I was charged the room, then if they had warned me I would cancel the as it was with the broking that was planned the cancellation and I would not lose anything, clean patch this does not happen xche doing The smart year got two gains not caring about your customers and this is incorrect, and useless to be cleaned out x then be dirty inside, I'm sorry you had a crazy impropriety not to warn and cure the customer, there or even called not knowing to justify you passed the call among colleagues little seriousness in a hotel that boasts all these stars, I'm sorry but I'll never come in my life again in that hotel but not for hotel, but x the impropriety you had I would have preferred that those those money ended up in ✋ to a needy this is the staff and rules of the Garibaldi hotel, I have been in many hotels but until today year always made the interest of the customer I had similar cases I was always

Great breakfast buffet (you can eat as much as you want), both in the English breakfast and continental breakfast version. Wifi free in every point of the hotel. Only flaw: whitewashed needed at room 216 (December 2017). Rating: 9 +

4 Star Hotel with an unbeatable/prezzo quality ratio. I took a triple, really large and well furnished and equipped with every comfort. Perfect for a family (we were in 4, 2 adults 1 child and one baby girl). Large and comfortable beds. All very clean. The location of the hotel is perfect as it is located exactly on the right flank of the Politeama, 1 step from Corso Vittorio Emanuele or the chic area of Palermo. What else to say… to Yes, breakfast… so if you are on a diet do not go to the breakfast room, too well of God… There's everything and all tastes. Summing up, for 109 euros (for a triple) and for 12 euros for the parking in the heart of the area in Palermo I do not think you can find better… (At least you don't get a star! )

Centrally located and a nice hotel with a small restaurant and service staff. Nice, clean, spacious rooms. Martina from the front desk is a real gem. Is fluent in 4 languages, and is one of the most helpful hotel front desk personnel I have ever encountered. Kudos to Martina!

Perfect location to visit Palermo. Convenient parking if you go by car. Breakfast not quite up to the height of Sicilian gastronomy. We asked for a high chair for the little girl during breakfast but the waitress was not very available. Otherwise the staff were very courteous. Large rooms, however, a little neglected. Great price for what it offers. We stayed in November.

Very negative experience. The hotel's marketing photos and videos falsify reality. Small room, dirty walls, an uncomfortable metal chair as the only element of rest that you invitata to run away and you find a basement which does the times of Hall but because of its smell, lack of ventilation and music insoprtable reminds you of the hostels Cheap youth. In front of this I keep running and finally, after an uncomfortable ramp with steps for what you need a suitcase 4x4, I get released to the street, noisy and with local party night until late hours. In the morning the breakfast and the staff that manages it brings you back to the hard reality of this hotel and you dream of the check out time. I have travelled more than I would like all over the world, obliged and for pleasure, and this is one of the few hotels where I have felt really unwelcome. The price they charge has nothing to do with reality. Palermo and Sicily do not deserve the hotel Garibaldi.

It's definitely NOT a 3 star hotel. In the middle of a wonderful city like Palermo, we ended up at this horrible place. The service is very rude, the place is ugly, the rooms are unpleasant, breakfast tastes bad in an island where food is absolutely amazing. It seems they just don't care about their guests and, if there is a confrontation, they enjoy making your stay a nightmare!

We came with high expectations as it was a 4 star hotel in the center of Palermo.
The reception is in a semi sotáno more typical of a hostel than a hotel. The friendly and attentive receptionist is the only thing that saves the hotel from not being listed as the worst one we have ever been to.
The small rooms and suitable for a 2 star hotel in Spain. Some walls of the hallways of access to the hanitaciones are chipped and the bathroom of the typical hospital room.
The Wi-Fi pretty slow and the worst the service of the restaurant during breakfast. Our recommendation is that all the service oposite to the police, because they spend more time to control that the guests do not take a bagel that to offer a pleasant experience to the diner.
Eg: we asked if we could prepare a French tortilla, being the service without apparent work at that time and the answer has been a no resounding with some sobervia — very unpleasant experience — after that we wanted to take a muffin from the buffet and came 3 Bartenders saying they would €2 for Muffin to the room.
Really unpresentable. Paying for a 4 star hotel you expect a quality service.

Perfect hotel, staff and position. Very clean, rooms are good equipped and very large. Perfect Wi-Fi. Nice breakfast — much better then ather hotels in Italy. Hotel has private parking that is very important for Palermo even you don't need car for Palermo visit because hotel is near city center (5 minutes walk from main city pedestrian street). A little bit noisy, but you are in city center and it is normal to have some noise. Really great place for staying in Palermo). I.

Clean and tidy hotel but breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. Good for both halves of the city location and the bus transfer from the airport. Bad for breakfast, staff attitude and lack of facilities.

It's very comfortable and with quality. Everything works fine and it's clean. Some problems with the parking as they took the car away (because it was full) to other parking without permission. I hope some people from the reception were more familiar.

The place is close to the center and the port, rooms were clean and spaced and modernized.

Air conditioning does not work in our room. We went to the front desk and asked what was going on and he said nothing could be done and they would fix it the next day, it's the next day and the ac still does not work. We had to move our bed under the vent and sleep with the door open for part of the night in order to make the room bearable. I give it 2 stars because it is clean and has an excellent location. I would not recommend this hotel in the summer if they continue to have this terrible ac issue.

Well located for central Palermo, rooms seemed to vary greatly in size and quality. We were on a coach trip with 40 others so we got to see a lot of the rooms — the best were big and well appointed. Unfortunately we were at the lower end of the range, with barely enough space to put our suitcases. The air con unit rattled whilst on, which pretty much meant you either lost sleep due to noise pollution, or lost sleep while you broiled! And one of our party was charged a €10 a night surcharge for having a travel cot in the room, so the child was effectively charged for having somewhere to sleep. Also worth noting that the entrance is down a flight of long shallow stairs, so there is no wheelchair access to the main reception. There are lifts inside, but you have to clunk your luggage, wheelchair or pushchair down them… and then of course you have to get them out again. Restaurant area was in the basement floor, very echoey and once the wine flowed and voices rose, it became a deafening cacophony. Conversely in the morning, everyone was too busy trying to find cups and bowls for their coffee and cereal, as there never seemed to be enough of either, let alone cutlery! We stayed in 4 4* hotels within a 1 week period, and this hotel was very firmly the bottom of that list.

Hotel Tip-Top in Palermo, right in the center. Rooms (420 and 216 for us) spacious, a large height of ceiling, an anti-room, 2 beds of 1, 25 m and a large bathroom. International breakfast, but very decent.
Fine Hotel in Palermo Center. Huge bedrooms with incredibly high ceilings, antechamber, 1. Twin beds and a spacious bathroom. Very Decent breakfast.

All nice and clean. Courteous staff. Too bad the room with dirty walls and shower even with the blinds. Breakfast plentiful but with drinks provided by the Distributor.

The hotel is centrally located and well connected with the rest of the city by bus and taxi station. As soon as you arrive at the hotel you are greeted warmly by the staff that after the usual registration documents (very fast) delivery room key. I had booked a double room but that time was fitted with a plastic shower curtain, which besides being very uncomfortable, not really worthy of a 4 star hotel. They are then dropped back into the hall and I asked if I could change rooms with a bathtub or shower glass (such as those that could be seen from the photos on the internet) and after a short wait I deliver the key junior suite at no extra charge, to apologize. However the "Junior Suite" (in quotes because calling a room with this name is not really the case) was nothing more than a very large, this is, but bare, dark and poorly decorated. The shower had glass this time, Yes, but the handles for closing the doors barely touched not peeling off and the tub was broken with detached sleeve from which gushed water continuously. A nightmare. Regarding the cleaning of the room this left much to be desired and there was dust on the furniture in the living room, the bed "double" was nothing more than two single beds pushed together.
If we add that after the first night a hotel housekeeper came into the room while I was asleep while ignoring the "do not disturb" hung on the doorknob, I can't help but do not recommend this hotel.
