Having spent a week here, we found the staff and facilities very good. A nice, friendly atmosphere where kids are doted on.

Lovely resort, great service and friendly staff.

One of the two courses was closed we were not informed before. Fairways were a bit shabby and the greens were not great. Bunkers were terrible all very wet from the sprinklers. Hotel was ok, although we were asked to move on a couple of occasions due to an event.

An elegant structure with a SPA and golf course. Great for a short stay for fans of the sport.
The rather secluded position does not make it suitable to make its own base for the most itinerant tourists. Excellent restaurant.

Very pretty and idyllic complex with two very nice golf courses. There are several bars and restaurants, but they are quite expensive. In the morning at 7, the green spaces inside the complex are mowed, so if you like to sleep it longer, you shouldn't take a room to the interior.

24May2018. My 40 years with my husband and my little girl Rosalba of 30 months. I was 'Cullata' by Maria Rosa (unimpeachable beautician) and Valentina (excellent hairdresser) in the Spa where we tasted the welcome cocktails along the way. Friendly and highly professional at the same time, the dining staff of the Restaurant the Carrubbo. Perfect in quantity and quality and selection of raw materials and products! Exquisite chocolate birthday cake and sheep's cottage cheese.
Finally a really starry breakfast with complete availability from Salvo Lo Faro on everything! And then Michele the driver and Michelle Laurence of my brother's accomplice reception for flowers in the room and at dinner. What to say, thank you to my husband who made this day special by choosing you! See you soon!

A very nice place if you love golf. A splendid place if you want to immerse yourself in the land of Ragusa, Modica, Scicli.

A place out of time… The perfect tranquility to unwind and rest. Staff to small care, especially the waiters, always extremely nice and helpful. I recommend this place to 100%.

Correct route and location, but prices too high compared to the services.

Beautiful place where you can practice golf, enjoy a relaxing spa, relax, beautiful pools both covered and uncovered. You can immerse yourself in the Sicilian landscape and visit the surrounding places still untouched.

5 stars you deserve for the beauty of the place and the kindness of the staff. The kitchen and the Wine bar are excellent. Clean rooms.

L'Eccelenza di un Matrimonio su misura! Trovo tempo solo ora, a distanza di quasi un anno dalla celebrazione, di raccontare la mia esperienza in questo magnifico luogo; in cui, ritornero' — con un gradito regalo ricevuto dalla struttura per rivivere gratuitamente con mia moglie quel giorno — la prossima settimana. Inizierei dicendo che ho valutato sulla carta un centinaio di strutture in tutta la Sicilia e visitato personalmente circa dieci di esse prima, di scegliere il Donnafugata Golf Resort. Posso confidarvi che, anche io, avevo dei pregiudizi sul costo che potesse avere una struttura di questo tipo; ma, anche la parte economica e' stata piu' vantagiosa di moltissime strutture che personalmente ho definito fabbriche di matrimoni. In quanto, era tutto gia' preimpostato e si era costretti a rimanere all'interno dei recinti imposti dagli organizzatori per costruire il matrimonio. Al Donnafugata Resort abbiamo avuto la possibilita' di personalizzare ogni dettaglio del Nostro giorno; seguiti e consigliati da personale di notevole competenze e capacita'; dallo Chef con cui abbiamo impiattato I menu', al sommelier con cui abbiamo scelto I vini da abbinare, al poliedrico Sig Massimiliano che ci ha cucito su misura l'evento seguendoci passo passo e dandoci ottimi consigli… cosa molto importante per noi, che non viviamo sull'isola.

A beautiful place with a nearly not existing service. Nice rooms when you wan't to pay 600€ per night for a two person room! Studios and suites are more expensive. The SPA is modern and well equiped. The dinner menu is boring and you'll be facing potato wedges with every maincourse. Most of the stuff can't speak proper english. And the organisation is terrible. Speaking of wich: Beer in a wine glas Getting 3 deserts for dinner Being forgotten as a group of 13 people Cold maincauses and warm ice cream Uneatable stuff 5 different names for a potato wedge I'll be suprised if the Grappa served in the dinning area wears a tax stamp. Both courses are in terrible shape and definetly not worth the 150€ greenfee plus the 50€ for a buggie per round. The entire resort is planned very good and the courses used to be beautiful. But in its actual shape (spring 2018) its awfull.

Location elegant and refined. Landscape unique in this area. We booked two hours in the Spa: the friendly staff, the hotel is modern and above all clean.

For golf lovers with its 36 holes is a dream. The SPA, the pools, the restaurants, the beach, all in Sicily are transporting you "to the island that is not there. "

A wonderful place immersed in greenery, very comfortable rooms and staff always available with a special mention to Mrs. Gaetana and Mrs. Melissa. Recommended in particular to all those who have friends on 4paws… I found a sensitivity to animals not by everyone! Added Value the very sweet Italian cat that lives in front of the reception!

Enchanting place lost in unspoilt nature. Green manicured. Attention to detail. Great place to relax and food and wine tours also in family and with friends. Superb location for organizing Congress and meeting.

A really nice place, definitely pricey but worth it. The food is of a good quality and the structure is great. Great for those who like to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Oasis. Bad restaurants and bad housekeeping. So it's super.

We stayed at this beautiful resort for a 3 day stopover in Ragusa. Amazing Resort, very nice rooms and overall all very well cared for and friendly and courteous staff. Only negative note the waitress who knocks insistently at 6pm. 18.30 in the evening to ask if you need anything (if you do not answer also enters the room) and the minibar service that knocks at 9am until you answer). Really annoying this situation. If I need something I phone in reception possibly.

The second time I spend a lovely, relaxing weekend on the occasion of the Rotaract events. This time it was even better than the first because I very much appreciate the structure, from the very pleasant walk to The golf course to the magnificent relaxation that gives the SPA, to the abundant breakfast full of typical local products and regional. Every corner of the hotel, as well as attention to detail and the decor. Wow, especially the great tent hall, which is truly a touch of class and originality. Rooms beautiful, beds and pillows very comfortable, what more could we desire? Another starlet that I would add to this, over the 5, is dedicated to your staff especially to the kindness, sympathy and generosity of mrs. Gaetana, who in the morning knew us (me and my boyfriend, who has already reviewed) a cute good morning and in the evening a sweet goodnight with The biscuits left on the bed. We definitely intend to return to live other small breaks of relaxation. Thanks.

What was supposed to be a dream turned into a nightmare: that's all we can say about our time at Donnafugata. We booked for 6 night, asked to leave after 3 and finally got a (poor) agreement to leave by the 4th night. Flies: everywhere, voracious, thousands of flies. You can't stay by the pool, can't walk, can't eat outside. There are so many and so aggressive it's literally impossible to remain outdoor, we had to spend few hours a day into our bedroom or in the spa or the gym. The only alternative you have is the resort beach, which is 20mins (10 by car + 10 walking with bees) : it is beautiful but in the middle of nowhere, so don't expect restaurants, bars, boat rentals… When we asked to leave, we were offered as a solution a repellant spray! We then had to ask of the Resort MD and finally recovered 1 night out of the 6 booked and 4 slept there: in a 5*L resort that's not just cheap, it's insulting. The MD confirmed this is a recurring issue they couldn't fix (due to local farming, wind direction etc) : after our stay, talking to few friends/golfers they laughed as this is apparently a well known issue within the community. The resort itself is beautiful, staff extremely polite and caring, food okish (for a foodie italian) just avoid summer: Apulia and Sardinia offer an equivalent level of food, sun, sea (and possibly golfing) which you can actually enjoy rather than having to lock yourself into a bedroom to survive!

The first impression is sustainable. The staff are not only perfectly trained, but also exceptionally amiable and attentive. A large and great facility, completed in 2010, with a lot of good taste and great perfection. A truly unique symbiosis of nature and architecture. Spacious rooms and bathrooms, two 30-metre-long pools, spa &'gym at its finest. Very good restaurants at acceptable prices… here you can relax and enjoy life!

It's a beautiful place, staff can't do enough for you. Food was excellent, except perhaps the food from the pool bar which was rather poor. Golf facilities were excellent although the greens very hard to read.

For golf enthusiasts landscapes and touching scents. An ancient village renovated with taste in materials and design. Management changed recently. We're going to see.

Extremely well designed resort, building on the original villa / farm buildings and architecture. It is specious inside and out and well maintained and the links are fabulous. The on site restaurants and bars are good if not a little pricey and there is plenty to explore within a short drive from here.

Nature brings out a beautiful place, so much green immaculately maintained, the fields always at the TOP.

The frame is that of the reserve of Aleppo Pine, the resort is surrounded by nature and especially in a unique place that embodies the typical Sicily, also offers an international golf course.

The rooms ottimAmenta decorated and comfortable. Room service friendly and helpful. Outdoor high just 1.5 but good design … Beware of the flies there are many and annoying. The indoor pool and good with whirlpool system effective. The spa and small and only has sauna and Turkish bath and gym, relaxation area and non-existent. Lunch and dinner are to be avoided for small portions and high prices, not giustifucabil because in. Surrounding areas there are great restaurants at affordable prices. The bar fridge and dearest without justification given the high prices of the rooms. The breakfast is plentiful and varied. The friendly and helpful staff.

We were in the Hotel in April of 2015 and it was a wonderful experience. The facilities are magnificent and the treatment of all staff superb, with special mention to its public relations Alexandra Sanfilippo, who helped us a lot, to guide us in the paths to follow to see all the area and in any thing we ask. Beautiful hotel and also as a field and swimming pools.

The whole facility — buildings, grounds, golf, staff, etc. — is lovely, and worth the 5 stars they claim. But the hotel kitchen (except for breakfast, which is superb) — food, service — is a catastrophe at any price, way overpriced, and deserves 1 star at best, meaning "available, but bad, and to be avoided if possible". You have to take a taxi to get a good meal in the area, which means that good food is expensive. I didn't expect gourmet cooking, but good food should be a cinch for Italy. I'd love to go back, because the rest is so good, but the food will keep me away.
