The room was comfortable and clean. The location is excellent. Unfortunately the building lacks maintenance and the staff was the least welcoming and pleasant I encountered during my time throughout Sicily.

Great value for your money, breakfast included, walking distance to center famous Norman cathedral and bell tower, and also to train station.

Service was mediocre, no one available to check in, we had to phone because no one responded to air'b'n'b text messages. Breakfast Service was not friendly at all. Disappointing.

We spent only one night there but the location is convenient enough. The room is spacious and clean which makes a very tired family feel restful and relaxed after travelling. We had to leave by 7am in the next morning and did notice the business owner had some croissants ready for breakfast at the reception area.

WOW I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and bnb. I am a fussy customer, but, this was exceptional. Modern, clean, comfortable, great Wi-Fi, great service, could not get better location walking distance to everything. Could not fault anything. Thank you for making my stay memorable 😊

Do not stay here. The staff do not respond to emails but then at end of your visit, want an appraisal asking how to improve. The room was spacious but that's all. The host was abrupt. The sink and shower drains were mostly blocked. There was no breakfast, despite the breakfast door sign indicating 8:00 start. When someone finally did show, he said the breakfast room was closed and we could get a cold coffee and sandwich at a nearby cafe with a voucher which we had to ask for. That was substandard and NOT what is advertised on booking sites. This is false advertising and therefore dishonest.
This should be in the category "B & NO B.
I doubt if any of the positive reviews are genuine.

Great place for a stopover, very close to ferry terminal/main station, city center and car rental agencies. Rooms are clean, quiet and big, breakfast is basic. The staff was also very friendly, providing us with tips for dinner and storing our luggage for half a day.

Very spacious and very clean. The little chocolate and note were a nice touch. It's a hidden gem in Messina. Giovanni the host was very welcoming and helpful.

Elysium B&B has newly renovated spacious rooms and beds are of very good quality. The bathroom is very clean and towels and bedlinen first class. The host and the breakfast room personnel speak English. The place is easy to find and it´s easy to find a parking lot nearby, but be prepared to buy a parking card from the nearest tobacco shop. But why they give their room prices "breakfast included", when it´s not? You have to find later in your booking documents, that breakfast costs 5 eur per person extra. Breakfast is really worth of it, but if the name is B&B, so you expect it is included.
