I have eaten several times at the’ Old Station, the last time for the feast of the epiphany 2020 and I have always got on very well. The kitchen is really excellent and I highly recommend it. The strong point of this place is the kindness and professionalism of the nurse Mr. Michael that first person together with the dining room staff has always made our convivial, pleasant and flawless.

Thanks to all the staff, kindness and courtesy characterize them, the food nothing short of excellent and abundant. As always thanks to Mr. Michael and Mr. Philip! See you soon.

I was here at a wedding. From the very start the place stood out for the beauty of the place and the striking and elegant decorations.
The evening took place outdoors between the garden which is large, well cared for and equipped with a playground and the veranda with large windows and furnished with taste and in a very functional way.
The buffet starter has been well designed to make it easy to taste the dishes without having to crowd in front of one or the other location. The support tables were both indoors on the veranda /gazebo and outdoors.
The aperitif was varied and very good both for the quality of the products served (many of them of their own production, such as porchetta) and for the mastery in cooking them in the right way and at the right time, cooking, textures, toppings and service temperatures were Optimal.
Very good charcuterie and cheeses, the tuna cut, the fried mixed fish and the delicious bites of sausage in fried batter.
The rest of the menu lived up to the appetizer with original and balanced dishes such as ravioli with asparagus, meat and mashed potatoes and the tender lamb stuffed with vegetables.
Good also White, red and rosé wines (yes I tried them all).
Also varied the buffet of sweets, I tasted only the almond parfait which was definitely above average.
The staff stood out for their professionalism, courtesy and availability.

Extraordinary place, yummy cuisine and very nice staff! If you put all this immersed in the nature of the forest of the coolness, the experience of a passage to the ancient station can only leave a wonderful memory. A reference point also for trips to the area. Recommended!

Great, unsurpassed, gorgeous. What to say. The best ever. I celebrated my daughter's communion and everything was perfect. From the care of the table to the final buffet of sweets and fruits. Fantastic food fantastic location. I highly recommend.

We consumed two lunches on two consecutive days. One of these was Easter lunch.

We arrived very late but they admitted anyway. We ate fresh pasta with almond cream and pig rags and lilies with pistachio pate and speck. Finally the dessert: semi-cold "to the shale" (with dried fruit) and cannolo decomposed.
All to say the least delicious and at a good price.

We decided to organize our wedding here in 2012 and it was a wonderful experience thanks to the expertise and professionalism of all the staff that followed and pampered us from start to finish! From that moment any good excuse for spending an evening or a weekend from them in the name of relaxation and good food!

We have overnight, so dined and had lunch. It is hard to eat everything you need, as the dishes served are plentiful and of excellent cuisine. I recommend everyone to enjoy the wonders of the Ficuzza forest and then lunch or dinner at the old station. Also great as price.

I had lunch here last Sunday. The location is beautiful, outdoor spaces cared for and equipped for children. The interior is very sober, clean and furnished with taste. The service is punctual, fast and efficient, the waiter of our table, which we had recommended and explained the dishes to the dining room manager that was passing by to ask if everything was all right. There was a set menu, the food really is excellent, great variety of appetizers, all made with local products, the meat, excellent. Only advice I would give is to improve the quality of the wine. We will definitely be back!

Pranzo ottimo, di qualità, con porzioni abbondanti e, prenotando prima, possibilità di variare il menú a seconda dell'età esigenze di intolleranze o diete diverse. Animazione per I bambini presente e carina. Bar e aperitivi all'aperto. Possibilità di portare animali domestici, ma non c'é uno spazio per loro dove lasciarli girare anche se c'é molto spazio.

Ultra satisfied, the reception was a success… the wedding guests do not stop commenting (positively) the whole thing, of the set-up to the food. A special thanks goes to Gianluca, Tiziana and Michele who followed us, recommended and guided from start to finish and many compliments to the chef who "from behind the scenes" made possible a dinner SPE-TTA-CO-LA-RE… Thank you all… Of course, the thanks go to the entire staff!

The restaurant is housed in the old train station of Ficuzza just outside downtown. Great place to taste local products, including the legendary sausage. The venue was expanded with a large porch designed for banquets and ceremonies. Is ideal for picnics with a children's play area. During the summer you can enjoy jazz. Wide selection of Sicilian wines. Some rooms allow to stay overnight.

The location was very comfortable and good. All the waitresses were very lovely and the service was excellent. But the best thing were the plates we've ate.

I attend for years now. We eat very well. Lovely place and special especially for children. Location up to par!

I was there for a wedding and a few years ago for another event. It was partly restored and now it is obviously more comfortable, I would change only a few things.
Service and cleanliness at high levels, even okay food.
Note absolutely negative absolutely lowers rating: is inside the Woods, at one point no signal and gps signal is lost and there is no sign if as soon as you arrive. I would have given 5 and 8, 5 instead. 5/6

I have been to the former Ficuzza on the occasion of the June 2. Despite the presence of about 450 people the organisation was satisfactory, the dishes are not text, precisely because of the particularly crowded day, but still pleasing. The day was enlivened even the animation for toddlers. Very nice location, great outdoors. 30 euros per person and 18 children's menu, more than acceptable.

Awesome place for anyone who loves the hilly landscapes and nature in General. Excellent cuisine, typical Sicilian dishes with gusto. Small compared to the entrance hall and bathroom to improve. Pleasant bar with selection of wines and liqueurs. Friendly staff, price from review. PS: an alternative to ricotta pie slice for those who do not eat cheese would have been nice.

Is there anyone who can give me an idea about the cost of a lunch for a fellowship.

I believe the Lord who said that the food is mediocre did wrong the place to which it refers. I do not know what you used to, but I can personally say from the wise in this farm there is an atmosphere that is more easily. In the breathtaking location of the forest lies this beautifully restored old structure by guys who love their land and that with sacrifice took the ruin and brought back to life with the surrounding area. But best of all, aside from the friendliness of the staff, are the spectacular quality of subjects with which they cook their sublime dishes. Advice for years this place to all my friends and I hope to be back after almost 7 years ago, I chose this place as the first stop of my honeymoon and never regret. Only one regret: he was just a week at this place that you walk away from drab daily reality and brings you in what I think is a fabulous place.

The 8 of August we celebrated my daughter's wedding Pamela with Oscar in your structure, you say? everything perfect, from dinner, organisation and helpfulness of all the staff present. Congratulations you guys are good! Special thanks to Luca and Bartolo who have followed step by step for the two days we were their guests.

This is the first time that, in a marriage, not being able to finish what I have on the plate. The food, (besides being delicious), was brought to us in industrial quantities. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs to celebrate a special day; I assure you that invitees do not complain.

The place is surrounded by the forest of ficuzza, a short walk from the Royal Palace. The place is really cozy, the food is good and the staff is friendly and always helpful.
We were in front of the fireplace to relax in peace and quiet.
Highly recommended.
