Probably the most enchanting place I've ever been.
Mariolina was a perfect host, the place is close to Mount Etna and some of the most beautiful old villages in Italy (pay a visit to Castiglione di Sicilia: absolutely recommended). Completely surrounded by peaceful and lush nature (vineyards, vineyards and possibly more vineyards) I would've never left the open space in front of the room overlooking the impressive Volcano and the vineyards as far as the eyes can see. The room was just perfect, like a little precious gem: perfectly furnished with good taste for every single detail, completely equipped with amenities and overlooking the nice courtyard. I will definitely come back since there is so much to visit in the area! I also recommend to take advantage of the local restaurant, since Mariolina and Saro only use local products. Beautiful environment and friendly and competent staff.

We enjoyed the days at very much, the loving service, the wonderful more common food prepared from local ingredients. The wonderful New Year's Eve in the beautifully restored wine press will be remembered. In the lovingly renovated stone houses we slept deeply and restfully. The tranquility surrounded by vines and olive trees has also contributed to the rest. The open, cheerful and touching nature of Mariolino were as important for the successful holidays as the perfect and professional service of Saro in the background. We also had a lot of fun at the Sicilian cooking class, we enjoyed the cooking with great appetite with Sicilian wine.

A very nice place to stay in. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. The food is delicious and the rooms are great. The building also has a nice atmosphere and is very historic.

During an 11 day holiday we had 2 days of rain and storm and they happened while we were staying in Il Tanaceto. Still these were 2 great days because the B&B is fantastic! The room is decorated with amazing eye for atmosphere and detail. The bathroom is modern and super clean. The Wi-Fi is strong. The hosts make you feel welcome. Breakfast is amazing and huge. You can have dinner there are extra cost as well, good value for money, really good food, and they adjust it to your wishes. Highly recommended.

From the beginning we felt at the Il Tanaceto well. Mariolina and her family are super warm hosts and have the right answer to every question. The dinner at the Agriturismo is particularly great. Every evening the owner cooks a fantastic 4-5-standard menu with ingredients from the garden and the region, including house wine. It is eaten in a beautifully developed old wine Press, which makes the atmosphere perfect. The rooms are very clean and cozy. A big thank you, happy again!

Mariolina and saro don't change anything. Everything is perfect. The house, the rooms, the safety of the place, your kindness and hospitality and the good dishes of the chef.
