Beautiful property, recently renovated and well organized… it's just a pity about the colors. Some colorful flowers, paintings, or just a bit more color would do justice to your wonderful land and add a cheerful touch!
We had a problem in our room and went down to Reception. Claudia (I think that's her name—I believe I read it correctly on the necklace she was wearing) immediately apologized, offered us a complimentary aperitif, and within less than 10 minutes told us we would be staying in a beautiful Suite as an upgrade!
She personally helped us with our luggage, leaving the Reception in the hands of a lovely red-haired girl with a contagious smile!
Claudia’s empathy was truly a must-have!
We had the chance to thank her the next morning while she was helping with breakfast, and we gave her some Dutch chocolate as a token of our appreciation.

We stayed 3 days and absolutely loved it. The hotel is located just outside the busy city center which makes it very peaceful — perfect for a getaway.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, whether it was calling taxis, recommending local restaurants, or arranging a private tour guide for our trip to Mount Etna.
The newly opened restaurant offers a great breakfast selection. We also had dinner there on our first night, the food was excellent. The staff were attentive and genuinely impressive making it felt more like a 5-star hotel experience.
The rooms have been beautifully renovated, super clean, and full of sunlight. The bed was pure comfort— one of the best we’ve slept in which made it very difficult to get up in the morning.
We can’t wait to come back, especially when the spa opens!

My family has been coming to Villa del Bosco for decades. While it has certainly changed now, and continues to evolve with ongoing renovations, the setting and structure are beautiful. It is a very quick and easy trip to get to the center of Catania as well. Breakfast is sufficient with yogurts, breads, fruits, and other options directly from the kitchen made fresh for you. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The ordering system for the 24/7 bar and cafe is a bit confusing if you are not good with technology — you must order it yourself and add it to your tab on an “honesty” system via your phone or the iPad they provide. Once we learned the system it was great and easy. Rooms were clean and newly renovated. Certainly would return when visiting our family in Canalicchio again. The current hotel is missing a few of the lovely features the old hotel used to have but in general it was a good stay. Grazie mille Villa del Bosco!

Very bad experience. I paid €770 in advance for 7 nights for an internal room. When we arrived, they tried to charge 27% more for the room and put us in an outside annex next to the noisy street. We cancelled and went elsewhere. But they REFUSED TO REIMBURSE, and this is illegal because (1) they did not respect contractual obligations for what we had purchased, and (2) they never sent cancellation conditions to us. We are currently going through legal proceedings in court, using my credit card insurance, to recover costs + damages.
