Clean and well-equipped place in a quiet neighbourhood (if you don't mind the neighbours' dogs barking in the morning). If there's anything not working, the friendly owners are eager to fix it as quickly as possible.
There are two bicycles, two foldable beach chairs, several sun umbrellas and a washing machine (outside the apartment) that you can use during your stay.
Since we didn't speak Italian, communication was possible via Google Translate or through the couple's son who speaks good English and who we could contact in case we encountered any problems.
There's a bus stop nearby, but since it's only one line and the bus service is infrequent, it's better to have a rental. It's an 8-10 minute walk to the beach which is not entirely clean, but good enough by local standards. It's basically never crowded and the shallow water is great for less skilled swimmers.
Note that you need to pay extra for towels and bed linen (30€ for a two person set) and that there's a city tax (2€ per person per night).
