The owner of rooftop53 cancelled my booking due to a problem with the room, a circumstance completely out of my control. We then had to scramble to book last minute accommodation. He assured me that he would refund my $1043 but has not and will not reply to my emails or authorise a refund through the company I booked with. Do not book this hotel.
Well located, very close and walking distance to the center. The owner was very helpful and lovely. Great breakfast service with amazing view.

Beware! I booked what was advertised as a “Superior Suite” for €208 per night, but it’s not a private suite at all — just a bedroom and bathroom in a shared dilapidated apartment with tired furniture and zero privacy. The toilet seat was broken, the bath had no shower holder and ran out of hot water, and multiple people on the shared terrace could look directly into the room while eating their breakfast.
The booking. Com listing falsely claims soundproof walls, balcony, sea/pool/garden/mountain views, concierge, 24-hour front desk, spa, and private beach area. None of it exists. The “view” is of the neighboring building, and I was woken before 8 AM by noise from the shared kitchen and shared living room. The "private" terrace is used by dozens of guests from other apartments in the building for their breakfast.
This is blatant false advertising and a gross misrepresentation. At best, it’s a €50 shared Airbnb room, not a €208 “superior suite. ” Avoid at all costs. For the same money book a room at a 4 star hotel. Booking. Com has been made aware of the erroneous listing, but hasn't made any corrections.
