Beautiful, quiet, ideal for everyone.

3 star hotel, not 5. Rooms were cold, the heading was off, breakfast was not diversified (eggs, bacon, pastries, no fruit or veggies). Their restaurant seemed closed. The rooms had marks on the walls, scratches, furniture scratched also. It definitely is not a hotel worth 160 eur a night, or a 5 star hotel.

Pleasant, cozy and quiet.

Advance payment upon arrival of the hotel, room de lux with dead mosquitoes on the ceiling. Undead pool old and dirty sunbeds and above all not to our liking as we are two newlyweds on the go. We honestly didn't like it! Greetings.

Beautiful and elegant… The friendly staff… we arrived early our room was not ready and they gave us a top room to not make us wait.

We arrived but the rooms were extremely dirty with strong smell of moisture. The staff couldn't find a solution and we left. To be avoided especially in covid periods where cleaning needs to be more guaranteed.

This is a beautiful hotel. Not only it looks like a palace, but the staff treats clients like royalty. The halls, dining room, pool, just incredible. Our room and bath are spacious. We had the most delicious dinner. We’ll definitely be back.

Beautiful, amazing hotel. Offers 3 times a day a shuttle bus to catania city approx 1.8 miles. Bar staff friendly. English speaking. Pool relaxed. Made to feel welcome until the moment we left. Would definitely stay again.

This place is excellent! The rooms are beautiful as well as the grounds in general. The bara and restaurant are great with live music.

Nice place and quite extensive. Room (suite) was luxurious although the light switches took a bit of getting used to. Showering was difficult as there is no curtain or barrier to prevent water from falling over the edge. Friendly reception staff and breakfast was not bad. The entrance to the lobby was impressive.

Good Service, everything is clean! Room is tiny and rare options at the breakfast! About 20 meters to the Beach! They speak english in the whole Hotel! The fitnesscenter is hot, with no possibility to cool it down! Very good restaurant, the meals are expensive but normal for a 5 Star Hotel! It’s perfect for couples and families with older children!

Didnt like it. Although it is a pretty hotel and everything it is just not somewhere I would return to. First of all it says it has regular shuttle buses to the city, it doesn’t. Only twice a day. And it has been impossible to reach city as municipal buses dont run regularly either. We just didn’t feel comfy here at all…

I just took part in an eighteenth, so I didn't see much. The food was plentiful although not really to my liking. The staff were very helpful.

I slept in many hotels, the maximum for me has always been a 4 star Superior, I state that I did not go to sleep there for the half star more, but out of curiosity. It is a hotel located near the airport is the sea, and it is a resort. As soon as I arrived nearby I struggled to understand where the gate was, which provides two entrances, the first at the reception and the second at the parking lot. I parked comfortably and in the shade. I felt a bit disoriented, but immediately came a service to pick up my luggage and escorted me to the front desk. The Hotel is very luxurious, very well cared for, both functionally and aesthetically. The lights, the colors, the air you breathe inside is very harmonious. The room was very comfortable, had a terrace overlooking the park. At first glance it seemed a bit noisy as a room but then I rethought. The pool is really very nice, well taken care of, it provides a Jacuzzi area, although it does not have a lifeguard. Then I asked if there was a possibility of having a different type of pillow, type in goose down, or latex, as I usually do in other hotels, but unfortunately it was not planned in that structure as the manicure set, the bath salts, the scented candles and the glove of Horsehair. As for the breakfast, there was really nothing missing, there was also almond milk and in addition they brought me a basket with all the food missing gluten-free, given my intolerance.

It was my good memories of this place. Beautiful hotel.

The personnel is very friendly and professional. The hotel equipment itself may come into is years. But the hotel surround is very nice. Dinner is perfect but no buffet in the evening. Breakfast not bad, but I seen better.

The Romano Palace is surrounded by greenery and is adjacent to the seaside area of Catania called La Playa. The hotel is very nice and the rooms are very comfortable. The restaurant and the food are very good.

Very nice hotel, nice service, however, in our room the bathroom could be a little refurbished. The rest but very nice.

Visited for a business conference, great service, well-equipped rooms. Decent breakfast and lunch. Too bad I didn't have access to the parking lot as if we weren't customers.

An outstanding venue for a company social function. The staff was very attentive to all of our needs. Atmosphere is top notch quality. Certainly sets the right mood and ambiance for an enjoyable, memorable, fun filled event for groups of any size. I highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a meeting room or conference event.

The hotel is in a great location, really close to the beach and only a short trip into Catania town. The setting is idyllic and leafy, rooms are well fitted and spacious, even the twins. Reception Staff were friendly and extremely helpful, especially with things like recommendations and taxi booking (really exceptional here) entertainment in the bar on the evening was a little kitsch, our room didn't get cleaned on the second night despite removing the dnd sign. Other than that cannot fault our stay and would definitely return.

The hotel is lovely, we had a wonderful time here. Being off season it was really quiet, except for the mosquitos that were really friendly. Also the grass trimming early in the morning was really great, really noisy as one would expect. The restaurant has a great varaiety of 6 to 8 dishes that you can only order between 19.30 until 22.00. If you miss that timeframe you can go hungry as in the off season this hotel is the only thing open in the area and you have to walk 4km t…o the city center on a road without a sidewalk… or pay 20€ for a taxi (apparently in catania they charge you 5€/km in a taxi). Actually you can in fact take a trip to a near supermarket (that closes at 20.30) to grab some food, but be careful that you need to walk through a park that is not luminated and if you get back too late the park closes and you have to jump the fence… also the rear entrance to the hotel (where you endup after jumping the fence when you come from the store) is closed also. Great news about being off season, the beach is not taken care of at all, you will find yourself walking on the beautiful sandy beach between garbage grouwing bushes and wooden debris. Another great thing about the off season is you can do a late checkout easily. 40€ until 3pm and 100€ if you want to stay later. But there is a catch! take a receipt for the late checkout (! ) as right after the normal checkout time (11pm!

Good hotel, not so luxurious as other 5*s from Italy but still a good quality/price ratio.

A/C was out when we arrived at 3pm, didn't start working until 7pm, and even then it wouldn't get colder than 25C (it was set for 17). Shower was old and water didn't get very hot. Bed was comfy and room was large, but I've stayed at better 3 star hotels.

A luxury hotel, close to the AirPort. Nice pool, fantastic pizza, friendly staff… we came back for the 4th time.

Services and TOP kindness, we stayed on the evening of Friday, June 23, the return flight was scheduled for Saturday, June 24 at 21.00. The hotel has however made available all the services, luggage storage, swimming pool and especially the beach service that proved the most exclusive of the whole area. We will return Aicuramente.

You can hear the room neighbors at night. Not soundproof. Old building. Painting the walls of the room rooms. Disgusted with the stay.

First off, it smells amazing. It's a nice hotel. But the drinks are crazy expensive and there aren't many food options nearby. Also, my bathroom was designed to ensure water got on every surface in the room.

Quality very good, Wi-Fi is not the best for such a hotel. At the reception, very cold people, dry, fair, it cannot be said that unpleasant, correct, but I think that the least when you arrive is to welcome you and explain to you something of the place with a flat and interesting places to visit.

Welcome with professionalism, excellent my vote is the ultimate, manicured gardens, x can rest and an excellent structure.

Great food really stylish structure but a little off.

I hosted a few friends from Veneto in Catania. The choice of this 5 star hotel fell upon. The Romano Palace, according to my friends, is a beautiful property with spacious and comfortable rooms. Superb breakfast full of our local products. Friendly staff and professioanle. Outside offers wide green spaces, good pool and lounges where drink and spend hours of relaxation. Thank you. Many tourists do not believe that there could be such structures in Catania.

I didn't think to Catania to take advantage of Valet Parking services and Bell Boy I pleasantly found only in 5 stars from overseas! Note positive also for breakfast, full of delicious Sicilian meals in respect of the most authentic tradition of pastry. Elegant and relaxing stay. I highly recommend it.

Every word is reductive to express the atmosphere inside this classy hotel, characterized by a friendly staff, always attentive and helpful (and smiling).
The hotel is fantastic, extremely and elegantly landscaped and surrounded by greenery, with swimming pool and jacuzzi.
The rooms are spacious, spotless and decorated with sophistication and attention to detail.
Situated on the sea front, with Etna behind offers colors and stunning scenery.
Deserves a mention on the restaurant with class, fresh and tasty food. Compliments to the chef. Now I understand the various prizes and awards received recently with this hotel. Richly deserved.
Finally, the breakfast was plentiful and good in terms of variety and taste.
I highly recommend it!
