Chebedda B&B

This is right in the heart of Catania and all the wonderful restaurants, the fish market and more. We rented a car, so this place was perfect because they have parking. We were able to come and go as we pleased with no parking hassle. AMAZING! The folks who run the b and b are very nice and helpful. I highly recommend Chebedda.

This is the perfect place to stay if you are arriving by car. The parking in the courtyard is fantastic. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again.

Everything was great, from location, parking, room, facilities. The Host makes you feel welcomed, like a special guest. You have free water and coffee and all you need in the room. Very good Wi-Fi, Smart TV with Netflix, very nice bathroom with perfect white flufy towels. The room is big, with small balcony and a nice view.

If you come with car to Catania, this is the address to stay in. We came because of the parking, found the place 3 minutes walk from the center. Lovely place, not fancy but cozy and efficient. But the gem is Enrico the host! He helped us with planning the trip, took care of booking restaurants and share his knowledge about Sicily.

Positive: Great hosts, very nice and helpful. There is no breakfast room, so the breakfast is brought to the room — the previous evening we were asked what we wanted for breakfast and exactly that was delivered in the morning at 8:00. The location is superb — few minutes from the main square. There is a car park, but it comes with a fee of 10.00 Euro per day, but we were told about it beforehand. There is very little parking spaces in the town center, so if you consider taking the car with you I would advice to pay the fee and leave the car by the hotel. The owners gave us a discount voucher for Etna excursion and a voucher for free lunch in the restaurant at the top of Etna :). Negative: The room was small but very high, so a mezzanine was installed. On the lower level there was a table, 2 chairs and a wardrobe and there was very little room to move round. The bed was on the mezzanine. We were staying in the hotel at the beginning of October and it was super hot on the upper level — there was air con and a fan, but there was still hot. I would imagine that during the summer it must be difficult to sleep there.
