Good location: 5 minutes walking to the center, near supermarkets and cafes, 5 minute drive from Valley of Temples.
Agrigento is built on a mountain so just keep in mind the entire city is uphill/downhill. I highly recommend a vehicle.
Kitchen and amenities offered in the apartment are convenient (other than no washer)
Air conditioning works great and there is a balcony in the room with two beds.
Pretty quiet area.
Negatives:
Old building. Bathroom could use some remodeling but I will say the water pressure and temperature worked well.
No elevator — apartment is on the second floor so you have to walk up a few flights of stairs. Not comfortable if you have a child in a stroller or large suitcase.
Doors are SUPER NOISY. You can’t open or close the front door or bedroom door without it creaking and slamming shut. I know this is annoyance for the other guests, especially if you arrive late in night.
Bed was really uncomfortable.
