I stayed for two nights in this Villa/Hotel with three friends for micro holidays. It is halfway between Stresa and Baveno, in a great location. I booked through Booking, and I have to say that for 2 nights, a quad room at 200 degrees did not feel at all bad as quality/price.
Before it becomes a Hotel, it's clear that in the past this property must have been a converted home to a hotel later, and the two stars are all there. But the kindness of the owners and the cleanliness of the place, make honor to the place.
Sure… the furniture and services are a bit dated, but given the context, it is understandable.
Ours, was not a real quadruple, but two rooms with a shared bathroom, a double with separate beds and a double room (which the proprietor, kindly changed us warning us on arrival due to some work in the room we had booked initially). The view of the lake from the master bedroom is really fantastic, and always about the latter, very illuminated.
Included in the price, there was a hearty breakfast.
I have only encountered two problems, which do not depend on the owners, or the structure itself.
1) If someone bothers the noises, the nearby creek, with its perennial cracking could be annoying.
2) The hotel's private parking road, which leads to the Hotel, could be a bit risky.

A wonderful charming villa with direct access to the lake, via the parking area. We are a family with 2 children, and have stayed here already 3 times on the way further down to Italy. Great value and very guest friendly, thank you very much.

I loved it from the first moment I got here. The host is absolutely lovely. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The view is great. The shower room is a little bit smalll if you are a big person, but everything was shining in the bathroom. I will return to this place.
