We had the best hotel stay at the STRAF Hotel in Milan. The location is perfect, the service is excellent, and the rooms are beautifully designed. Breakfast was a real highlight, with amazing service and the best freshly squeezed juices.
The spa was splendid, and what truly stood out was the unbelievably quick response to every guest need or request.
A special thank you to Christina at reception, whose professionalism and warm hospitality made our stay absolutely wonderful and truly unforgettable.

I am extremely disappointed with the guest service at STRAF Milan. On arrival, there was no bellboy available, which set the tone for an underwhelming stay. More seriously, Alexandru confirmed that my Titanium upgrade would be handled on the second day, then completely forgot about it or simply refused to honor it.
That is unacceptable for a Marriott property, especially when loyalty benefits are supposed to mean something.
I was then treated as though I should be grateful for a mere 30-minute late checkout extension, as if that were some major favor rather than a basic courtesy. When I approached the front desk twice on checkout day to speak with the manager, Victoria, I was told both times that she was busy. That is not leadership, and it is not guest service.
After five years as a loyal Titanium member, this experience raises a serious question: what exactly is the value of loyalty if the hotel ignores the very benefits Marriott advertises? Marriott Bonvoy should review how this property handles elite members, because the service here fell far below expectations. Do better.

Fantastic location for a short stay in Milan — right at the heart of the City. Cathedral at your door step and all the designer outlets so you can shop till you drop if you want. Plenty of ice cream and restaurants to keep you motoring. Best to stroll across to the department and head to the roof top bar/ restaurant to get a good view of the Cathedral and square whilst having a cool drink. The hotel itself is fine — location is the key benefit. This is not the Hyatt — don’t expect the communal spaces, lounge etc or refined rooms.
