Really good hostel, pretty clean, 7 min to metro, San Siro stadium, the terrace for a smoke break, kitchen with utensils, 3 bathrooms, adequate staff.

Service is terrible, the owner literally tells you off if you don't understand something. Tolerance is the key when running a touristic business. It is suitable only if you're going to the stadium, for Milan visitors it is better to find something downtown.

I would like to report briefly on our experience at the Star Hostel San Siro fiera. We booked due to the reasonable price and the good reviews. We had an early flight and drove from the center to the secluded hostel to take our luggage. It was difficult to find at first and was in a ghetto-like block of apartment. On the spot we were told directly unfriendly that it was not possible to store luggage before check-in at 2 pm, which was probably also in an e-mail. What the problem is, to leave two suitcases for a few hours in the hallway or a room, is so far inexplicable to me. In general, you may not appear here before check-in time or stay in the accommodation. Nundenn, after a brief discussion with the uncooperative receptionist, in which we pointed out that other hostels were a better Serivice and more helpful, we were sent out with luggage to return at 2 pm. Generally, we didn't feel welcome, it smelled uncomfortable in the premises after smoke and the décor was extremely old-fashioned, ugly and run down. In the search for the exit we accidentally walked into the basement, which supposedly triggered an alarm and the receptionist Staatsanwaltschaft us. He had apparently changed his mind and wanted to let us, several times emphasizing his incredible generosity, now be checked in.

Good price, breakfast included, several bathrooms, not far from center.

Located 1, 2 km from the Lille San Siro Stadio exit, on the sixth floor of a building. Ideal for those who do not have special needs and want to pay little. The rooms range from 2 to 8 beds, there are 3 shared bathrooms and a room where you can eat, there is also an oven. I paid 20 euros per night on booking to which should be added 4.50 per day x fee is linen, if you want the safe 2 euro. By midnight and 30 you have to be inside otherwise stay out, do not give keys so if you do not need to come back late okay otherwise I do not recommend it as you are likely to spend the night X street. Overall x 20 euros is fine.

Good B&B, no big claims, perfect to stay a few nights, are two face that we go back in 2years, courteous and helpful staff, all areas are regularly cleaned.

This place is the best, cheap, clean, friendly service I would totally recommend it, especially if you are on a shopping spree and need to save as much as possible ;-)!

Inexpensive accommodation that is suitable for a short stay.

Poor insulation means the conversation of people from other rooms. Hygiene is questionable, bathrooms and dormitories are not cleaned and sheets certainly not replaced. There are only industrial croissants stuffed with chocolate to eat at breakfast. Despite the 2 radiators, it is very cold in the dormitory, fortunately I had a plaid and they offer a second blanket. The hotel is far from the city centre and only open from 9:30 to midnight. The staff, who change every day, must press a button so that you can open the gate of the building grid, if the staff only wakes up after 9:30 and you have forgotten something when leaving, you have to wake him up with sonnet you. The day of the Manager came during my stay (3 nights), he spoke to me only to tell me that he also had a hotel in Paris, to ask me what time I was leaving and woke up only at 11am, the time of departure required to see if I was gone.

Altough the hotel is located far away from the centre, the atmosphere is very nice. Bob, the owner, is a very easygoing person. Moreover, it's tidy, spacious and comfortable.

The receptionist cancelled our reservation without our permission and I have not recovered my money.

Malisima in all aspects. The receptionist we cry and we cancel the room already paid, and I'm still in claims with Booking.

Altough the bedroom is a bit old. It is well-maintained.

The great Florentine hotel. Station, monuments and museums nearby. Everything is close by. An extraordinary place. Clean and comfortable. Inexpensive. Was with his wife. Delight. Polite staff.

No flexibility, not customer friendly, indecisive staff. We arrived late afternoon on our travel bikes which were to be used in the following 10 days for cycling to Rome. They indicated the bikes were not only to be parked outside the building, but also outside the gates. On our question if there was no risk of theft the suggested solution was to remove the weels and the saddle and to fix the frame to the gate with a chain lock! We tried to explain the situation and asked for another solution but no consideration was given. Moreover, the building is in a very remote area, not close to the city center and in a building where the other occupants are not used to hostel clients. We were forced to go to another hostel, no refund at all on our fully paid fee.

Excellent from the atmosphere to the administrator and the owner. Loved this place!

It is a confortable place, very quiet, perfect to relax, it has public transportation nearby. People there are very friendly and nice. I am enjoying staying there.

The location is better than most of hostels in Milan, easy to get there by public transformation. Kind stuff and clean rooms.

The staff is really good specially Richard is a really good friend! Definetelly I recomend this Hostel!

Advantages: The staff is really kind and helpful, the room and the beds are comfortable and clean and so as the bathrooms. The Wi-Fi signal is very strong all around the hostel. Disadvantages: The reception closes at midnight, so you have to return otherwise you are gonna stay out until 6 when it opens again. The breakfast is just ok and nothing special. Just some croissants from the market and coffee. In general it's not the most ideal place to stay in if you wanna wonder around the city, cause it's quite far away from the city centre (last stop of M5 line).

Calm, and great cost benefit.

The owner of the hostel is a very unfriendly person who spoke to us every time we saw him on the floor or at the reception (so every time, 'cause the reception and the kitchen is in the floor where you get out). He said things like "Your room is a desaster! We can't clean it! " (on the floor lays map and in the corner lays a bag and some clothes, that was all…) or that we destroyed the flyscreen, although it was damaged before. The showers are full of whitewash and the rooms are too hot for the summer, although there is a ventilator (we couldn't really sleep…). The owner smokes in the whole hostel (also inside the floors)! The only positiv thing is the guy who works at the weekend at the reception. He's really friendly and willing to help!

The area where it is located is very quiet. To find within a park. I took the room for one night only. Breakfast was given in tribute but leaves much to be desired. The real benefit is the price because it is very low compared to others (I paid 10 euros). It is essentially a very large House.

You can only reserve by Booking and not from repayment and pretty clean and near San Siro Stadium useful for you concerts.
