Very good hotel in a beautiful Art Nouveau building. The area is easy to reach with two trams close to line 1 and line 19 both go towards the center of Milan. Safe environment, a little eccentric, you will have to go to Corso Sempione near the Arco della pace to find a little choice for dinner nearby.
The rooms are nice, the amenities offered are of quality, only HIC the insulation but this is quite common in the old hotels.
The faucet in my room (114) was to review the tap constantly dripping or c is a valuable resource.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
Quality breakfast with a large buffet of fresh produce.
Pleasant spaces including the garden and the lounges.
I recommend it.

HOTEL MERCURE MILANO REGENCY COMPLAINTS My family and I booked a 7-days-stay at this hotel, from May 27th to June 03rd at the cost of € 1.001, 50. Unlike the whole hotel staff (who were very nice and kind), MR ROBIN, who took care of our reception on the first night was extremely RUDE, UNPLEASANT, and made absolutely NO EFFORT whatsoever to please and help us in our needs and demands as it follows: 1. We reserved double bed rooms at the hotel, as discussed in some emails with Luca Meggiorin, Giusi Scorpion, and Maria Valcheva who were very nice and friendly at all times. On the other hand, as to Mr Robin, when he gave us the room keys I asked him about it and he simply said: “go into the rooms and check it by yourself”. P. S. Both rooms had single beds. This kind of failure is totally acceptable. What is absolutely unacceptable is his behavior and lack of kindness. 2. In addition, as long as my mother is 78 years old and can not get into a bathtub, when I booked the rooms I was EXTREMELY CLEAR that a walk-in shower was totally necessary. When we got into the room, AT 02:00 A. M. We realized this demand of ours had not been fulfilled either. Once more we asked mr Robin for help but he said he COULD DO NOTHING ABOUT IT. Therefore, my 78 years old mom had to go to bed without a shower, neither at night, nor in the morning. P. S: pay attention to my item number 5 bellow. 3. As if we had not had enough troubles, the room air conditioning was not working.

Comfortable room. Good service. Very good breakfast. Just away from the center. But with many bus lines and trams.

The Wi-Fi is not working very good. Everything else was great.

When travelling, for business or pleasure, I like to get off at Mercure hotels as I am convinced of service and overall quality. So far I have always had very good experiences with this chain. — The regency in Milan has left a more mixed impression in this context. The relatively central location (20-30 min to the city centre, in walking distance to the premises of a Swabian world market leader) as well as the originality of the equipment is a positive highlight. There is a certain negligence on the part of the staff in the room service (e. G. There was only a hanger in my room, which also did not change a triple demand), as well as a VGLSW. Moderate breakfast buffet, which remained far behind the usual standards in other Mercure hotels.

We loved this hotel. We stayed for two nights. Built in an old palace, we had a family room in the tower (506) which included a mezzanine with the king size bed and a single in the lower part of the room. Breakfast was a full continental. The staff were absolutely lovely. There is a small bar in the hotel ground floor and a small garden with a lovely fountain which is an original feature.

Excellent service and courtesy, quiet rooms with all comforts. Ideal for business stays.

Couple travel, highly recommended.
The room was very nice, we loved it since we walked in, everything was very clean and the cleaning girl apart from being very clean was very friendly.
Just like the pictures.
You can hear enough noise from the pipes but you get used to it very soon.
It is about 20 minutes from the center but is very well connected as the tram stop is only 2 minutes and this takes you directly to the Duomo.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
I recorecomiendo 100%. I would definitely stay here again.

Our room should be renovated sometimes in the near Future — the wall paper is kind of funny but definitely not pretty. Unfortunately that was not the only negative aspect of this hotel: Our shower was not properly working and changed the temperature every 10-20 seconds from get your back burned hot to freezing cold. Why have a temperature regulator when it's not doing its job? However the most disappointing thing was the breakfast. I don't think we have too high expectations but having a good coffee to start of your day is a mininum! Especially in Italy. The lady in the breakfast room was really unfriendly on saturday, her collegue was super nice though. As we checked out the last shock was the bill of our mini bar. Nobody told us and nothing informed us about the prices. We would not have drank something, if we knew! In a nutshell the staff was overall friendly, our bed was comfy but we wouldn't come back and were happy that we didn't pay the full price.

Hotel location is ok. Rooms and lobby have charms. Which isn't the case of employees. Depending on the price you get but you have much better value for your money in other hotels around.

For sure not a 4* … quite old, unclean and not very well located. Not worth the price.

I reached the hotel around 12 am on the 19th of November. The reception lights switched off, the guy at the reception was very unfriendly and seemed unhappy when I told him to turn on the lights to help me see and look for my passport inside my case. On the next day I tried to switch the room, and already had my booking ready since I did it online, and only needed the key for my room. The guy at the counter kept taking calls and kept asking me to wait. Told him I had been waiting for over an hour and he needs to stop taking calls and check people in instead. He was rude and did not have any sense of urgency or any customer care experience at all. The hotel rooms and hallway had funny smell, very rundown and old interior. The only good thing about it was the convenience of its location.

I have to stay in this hotel very good staff to listen especially the staff of breakfast. Too bad he doesn't speak French.

Cheap, excellent service deal with exception of the girls at reception, as far as housekeeping I give you a 10 the lady is very nice.

Tho hotel is quite convenient location! The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good with a good variety of different things to have a good start of the day! Although the rooms were clean and very comfortable, there were two main problems due to the old devices: 1) the water in the shower didn’t had pressure! It was not low… It was very low! And the thermostatic tap wasn't working delivering either too hot or too cold! 2) the air conditioning wasn't working for cooling and opening the windows was not an option as trams pass on the street. Besides this two points which might be solved by some maintenance or renovation the stay was nice!

Very hold hotel, room small without even a plug close to the bad. Internet connection not working in the room. Stay away if you are in Milan for working. Not worth the price at all.

I have been hotel is located near Caserma Montello.

Horrible! We left the room locked in morning and when we came back in late evening, our room door was wide open, windows open and my stuff was in the room. When spoke to the reception, the guy said he did not have anyone who could go upstairs and check it with us and was very unsupportive in this situation. We had all our personal stuff and to enter the room was an experience like entering a burgled home. I will never stay at any of the Mercure hitels ever if they have such a terrific service and unhelpful staff. Even the restaurant staff in morning did not know English, that is the last thing I would expect from a chain of hotels like this in city like Milan.

The staff is super nice and pro! But the room a disaster… the vacuum cleaner has not been used for a long time. For breakfast it is frankly not at the level of a mercury just a neighborhood Hotel!

Camere pulite, servizio cordiale e professionale, colazione continentale buona, colazione italiana mediocre. Buone le caramelle.

Really high value for money.
