Very clean very friendly guetr starting point.

Friendly staff. Quite and clean rooms. Ask to reception for any restaurant or daily visit suggestions. Very good lication (5 minutes walk from train station where you can park for free from 7 pm to 8 am). To get the lake or historical town centre takes 8 minutes walk. Continental breakfast, even though not outstanding at all. Fair place and good value for money/location.

Wordereful place to stay. Very clean, quiet and warm atmosphere. We would definitely stay again.

Great little hotel just a 10 minute walk from the central station and another 10 minute walk into Como center. Room and bathroom nice and well maintained, good Wi-Fi and nice selection of food at breakfast. Can't complain for the price and would definitely stay again if visiting Como.

Small cozy clean friendly welcomeworthy.

Very nice, clean hotel, the bathroom comes with a very large shower and the staff are very nice. The lack of parking is the only flaw, but on the other hand it is a hotel on a rather central street, however there is a multi-storey car park nearby.

Not sure if I would come back for future stay at Borgo Antico since it is not that cheap compared to the facilities offered by hotel. Rather to book hotels around Nord Lago statiin.

Good location, rooms with bathroom and comfy beds but a little poor lighting, average reception.

A lovely cosy little hotel within 10 minutes easy walk of the city centre of Como. Small but comfortable rooms. Basic but delicious breakfast gets you started for the day. My wife and I stayed for 3 nights based on the recommendation of our travel agent and we were glad we did. The staff at the hotel we're very accomodating right from when we arrived at 6.45am after a long flight from Australia and allowed us to check in immediately. It was greatly appreciated. We were also given some great recommendations on how best to get around Como. A particular highlight was a family run restaurant only a few doors down from the hotel that we ate at 2 nights in a row. This was a recommendation from the hotel and absolutely nailed it as far as genuine Italian food was concerned. Highly recommend staying at this hotel.

This was a fabulous place to stay five minutes from every where. Station, town centre, lake staff all amazing, did everything to help hotel is clean and room we had was the BEST.

Cute little Italian Villa type hotel. Within walking distance of lake and main part of town. Neighborhood might be a little sketchy — doors are always locked and someone needs to let you in. But — someone is always behind the desk to do so. Sound from other rooms can be a problem. Had to change rooms because of a crying baby next door. They were nice enough to accommodate us. Rooms are nice but small and sparsely furnished or decorated. Bathrooms are newly remodeled and beautiful. Breakfast was fine. They even have a quaint conference room for visiting. Televisions do not get English language stations — — no CNN International, CNBC International, Etc. Every other hotel we had been in throughout Hungary, Austria, and Switzerland did so we were surprised and disappointed. All in all, cute hotel and nice stay. Parking our rental car was a problem.

Good hotel close to the downtown, located in a quite street. Recently renewed rooms with modern facilities. Generous breakfast included. Very gentle staff. A little bit too expensive for the services included.

Nice rooms, although small by American standards. You might score one with a lovely private walled garden — incredible! Be aware — the mattress is VERY firm. Very walkable to downtown como. The staff are very nice, and there is a light breakfast included which is very convenient. All in all a great value and comfy place to use when visiting Como.

Our stay was brief but very nice. The staff is very friendly (Alessandro, grazie mille! ), the room spacious and comfy, the breakfast tasty and the views from the terrace stunning. We're definitely coming back — the perfect location for a mini break in Como.

I visited Borgo Anitco for 3 nights in March 2013. There were 7 people total in our party, but the staff was very accommodating. I looked forward to the breakfast each morning which had soo many options from croissants, to parties, cheese, bread, yogurt, cappuccino, etc. As you can see, I enjoyed the breakfast. :-) The rooms are fairly small, but very cozy. There was also a nice view of the mountains and trains from my room's windows. I planned to write this review immediately upon my return to the states, but I always forgot to. I would highly recommend Borgo Antico when staying in Como. It's also within walking distance of shopping and restaurants.

Nice boutique hotel, clean, good breakfast and friendly staff. Location is also good with a 10 minute walk to the city centre.
