Varenna Hotels

Could not have found a more ideal spot to explore from than this gem of a destination for our winter stay. A step back in time for the vibe, not for the amenities.

I missed the last ferry and all the Taxis wouldn't answer, so I gave Hotel Olivedo a try. The owners were incredible, gracious and very welcoming.

Our expectations were greatly exceeded. Our host, the owner of Michelangelo B&B, was so nice, gracious, helpful, friendly, and down to earth as it gets. He made our stay so wonderful.

Wonderful location, close to everything in the very small town of Varenna. This B&B has four rooms, with a common breakfast area, all run by the owner/operator Michelangelo.

Wonderful apartment with all the amenities you need. House is clean and wonderful too. Great location near to many restaurants and near the ferry terminal. Thank you for the stay Ettore :)

We absolutely loved our stay at this delightful apartment in Varenna.

It was clean, spacious, in the perfect location of the lake and the view from the window was spectacular — lots of natural light for beautiful sunshine.

My wife and I had an amazing experience staying at the Casa Contrada Bella. We stayed in the Dove Gray Room which had a bedroom and a separated living room with kitchenette.

Thanks Christian and MG for a fabulous stay. The Villa's Primrose apartment was great for our family of four. Adults had their own room, and the kids had their space.

Could not have had a more lovely experience at Villa Monti. The location and views are incredible, and the villa is clean, convenient and well run.

The initial contact with the Reception Desk was weeks in advance. By Email, we arranged dinner on our arrival and parking for the 3-day stay at the wonderful boutique facility.

The entire staff at Casa du Lac treated my wife and I like royalty. They were delighted to help in any way.

Our room was located in the Casa Rosa apartment, which is a separate building from the hotel.

We stayed for 3 nights in a lake front room in the dependance Casa Rossa, only a 2 minute walk from the hotel. The room is small but comfortable with a good bed.

1000% recommend for who want to stay at Como or Varenna. Staff are very helpful.

We stayed here and had a great experience! The room was wonderful and had an awesome view of the lake. Manuel was so great to us and helped us check in a bit early.

I arrived in Varenna by train and the hotel was a 15-minute walk from the train station. Half of the route to the hotel was downhill with the rest being fairly steep uphill.

We stayed here for a few nights and were very happy with the room. Crisp cold AC that you control (hard to find in Europe), close to the train station & ferry & walking distance to all of Varenna.

Perfect location to everything you need in Varenno. Nicolo, the manager was more than accommodating! He made our stay perfecto! Instead of just giving us suggestions to restaurants….

We only got to stay one night but we would return in a heartbeat.

This hotel was breathtaking from the gardens to the rooms to the history and the service. One of the most comfortable hotel rooms we stayed in during our 3 week honeymoon in Italy.

Great, very central location in a beautiful, old house. The terrace with a view of the lake is really fantastic.

If you like old century theme… This place is the one and they have an amazing top view over looking to the Lake Como.

Casa Mary Varenna is a great apartment down by the lake. We were lucky enough to get the one with a terrace. The only drawback which is not much of one, is it's up 4 flights of stairs.

Great location, super quaint, clean. Not the most modern but is very cute. And the breakfasts are nice :) would stay here again!

The location is perfect, 2 minutes from the ferry, 10 minutes from villa monestero. Room was clean, small, balcony had a great view!
