Varenna Hotels

The initial contact with the Reception Desk was weeks in advance. By Email, we arranged dinner on our arrival and parking for the 3-day stay at the wonderful boutique facility.

The entire staff at Casa du Lac treated my wife and I like royalty. They were delighted to help in any way.

I found Michelangelo B&B on Google Maps as I was researching places to stay in Varenna, and I immediately noticed 95 five star reviews.

It’s one of a kind. I believe you don’t find views like this anywhere else in Lake Como. The rooftop was breathtaking and exclusive, and our room also had a pretty view of the lake and mountain.

A perfect stay! Paolo was extremely helpful. Check in was super easy, the apartment is in the most perfect location, and it was super clean! We will be back!

We had a fantastic stay in Varenna. The PERFECT location right in the heart of a quiet town. Host is very, very responsive and helpful. Check-in and checkout was super easy.

A beautiful, spacious apartment with a large bed and very affordable in regards to the area, the owner is very helpful and very responsive.

This review is long overdue. Stayed in tulip suite in August 2025 for a week. It was one of my favourite accommodations of all time. Stunning terrace and fantastic views.

Our stay at Casa Contrada Bella was outstanding. Upon arrival we were greeted by Diana, the owner, with open arms.

We stayed for 2 nights here and it was absolutely wonderful. Varenna is such a beautiful place and completely stole our hearts.

Our room was located in the Casa Rosa apartment, which is a separate building from the hotel.

We stayed for 3 nights in a lake front room in the dependance Casa Rossa, only a 2 minute walk from the hotel. The room is small but comfortable with a good bed.

Maria is lovely. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. She assisted us in getting a taxi to airport with no hesitation. Friendly and so sweet.

1000% recommend for who want to stay at Como or Varenna. Staff are very helpful.

We stayed here and had a great experience! The room was wonderful and had an awesome view of the lake. Manuel was so great to us and helped us check in a bit early.

I arrived in Varenna by train and the hotel was a 15-minute walk from the train station. Half of the route to the hotel was downhill with the rest being fairly steep uphill.

We stayed here for a few nights and were very happy with the room. Crisp cold AC that you control (hard to find in Europe), close to the train station & ferry & walking distance to all of Varenna.

Perfect location to everything you need in Varenno. Nicolo, the manager was more than accommodating! He made our stay perfecto! Instead of just giving us suggestions to restaurants….

Fio & Gio B&B in Varenna was a very positive experience for our four nights in Varenna! We had a nice colourful room with a balcony overlooking Lake Como.

Great, very central location in a beautiful, old house. The terrace with a view of the lake is really fantastic.

This hotel was breathtaking from the gardens to the rooms to the history and the service. One of the most comfortable hotel rooms we stayed in during our 3 week honeymoon in Italy.

Great location, super quaint, clean. Not the most modern but is very cute. And the breakfasts are nice :) would stay here again!

The location is perfect, 2 minutes from the ferry, 10 minutes from villa monestero. Room was clean, small, balcony had a great view!

Casa Mary Varenna is a great apartment down by the lake. We were lucky enough to get the one with a terrace. The only drawback which is not much of one, is it's up 4 flights of stairs.
