Cà Stagia holiday house with private swimming-pool

We have returned to this place in Bellagio several times now – and for good reason. The house itself is stunning, with breathtaking views and beautiful surroundings, but what truly makes the experience unforgettable is our host, Michele.
Michele doesn’t just open his house – he opens his heart. His warm hospitality and generosity create a very special atmosphere. He goes out of his way to make sure we have the best possible stay, whether it’s by taking us on memorable boat trips or surprising us with delicious local delicacies. He is always attentive and thoughtful, and his presence has become an essential part of why we love coming back.

Our 2 families had a fantastic vacation at this home! Michele is such a welcoming host and helped us many times throughout the trip with random questions. About the house, ferry schedule, local things to do and places to eat!. The house has everything you could need and more, gorgeous views, plenty of room for big families. The pool was an amazing addition! Always felt nice to cool off. 10/10 would recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Ca Stagia. Michele was a welcoming and generous host and the house is lovely, set in stunning grounds. There were 8 of us in total, 4 children and 4 adults and plenty of space for us all. The house is well equipped and the pool is fantastic. It’s a salt water pool with plenty of toys and loungers next to it.
It’s located above Bellagio in a peaceful area. It’s a short drive to the town or up in to the hills. Supermarkets are walking distance but it’s uphill on the way back! Again, an easy drive to the shops. We really enjoyed being out of Bellagio where it was quiet.
Michele gave us a couple of awesome recommendations for local restaurants. The two we tried were fantastic. There is secure parking on the property for two cars.

My family and I had the most incredible time! Michele is the best host we have ever had, and the house was absolutely perfect. The house was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed. Michele was extremely kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. I hope we have the pleasure of going back to Ca Stagia!

An emotional review for me because our stay with Michele was one I will never forget and will forever cherish. Myself, my husband and our 3 children, along with my sister and her family rented Ca Stagia throughout our wedding period in Bellagio. Before we flew to Italy I was in regular contact with Michele who even went and did our food shopping for us so we had a full fridge for when we arrived. He met us with a cold bottle of Prosecco and beautifully fresh cut flowers and homemade soup from his mother as he knew we celebrating something special and had a long journey with young children.
Over the course of our trip, Michele never stopped with generous gifts and offers of help. From ice cream for the children, to tours for my family, delicious pastries for breakfast and offers of help to fix broken items we’d driven over for the wedding, Michele was the gift that kept on giving. He even helped my husband push the trailer we had driven over in and out of his property numerous occasions (Sorry your foot got run over! ).
It’s not often you meet people who you feel like you’ve known forever and Michele honestly felt like part of my family right from the start. I feel incredibly grateful I was able to invite him to our wedding and that he came to celebrate with us.
His house was immaculate and very spacious for all of us and the kids loved the play garage and especially enjoyed watching my sister run on the treadmill whilst playing!

Where to start with our stay at Cà Stagia? Michele was the most gracious, kind, accommodating and hilarious host. Far exceeded anything we could have anticipated. His place is absolutely beautiful, finished to such a high quality and such lovely little touches like beautiful flowers, toiletries, local pastries and a hamper of delicious food. He was so kind, nothing was too much trouble and he even took us on a tour of the local area which was both beautiful and interesting. The pool was warm and clean with beautiful views and all the kids had toys they could play with. We found our stay very comfortable and enjoyable and recommend it to anyone looking for something relaxing and fun.
We felt so fortunate to have met Michele that my sister even invited him to their wedding that we were all out there for, and our friends and family loved him too! Thanks Michele for a wonderful stay, you deserve every happiness; next time we promise not to unplug the Wi-Fi!

We enjoyed this magnificent stay! The accomodation was very good: brand new, very clean and everything was available. The house has airco which made our stay very luxurious. And the swimming pool is top! We really had a fabulous stay which was also made possible thanks to Michele, a wonderfull host who made us feel at home. We will certainly recommend this accomodation to others. Kurt.

We are a family of two adults and a 6-month-old baby (at the time of stay). We spent three weeks at Cà Stagia in May 2022. The house was even better than in the pictures: everything was new and fresh, there was plenty of room for us and everything worked perfectly. The peaceful estate is located up on a hill with about 30-minute walk from the center of Bellagio. It has a magnificient view on the surrounding mountains and a bit to the lake itself too. The pool is also very beautiful, clean and heated.
Our very friendly host Michele lives next door and was always available and ready to help whatever questions we had. He showed us around the nearby villages, told about the area and its history and even brought us brioches/croissants from the nearby pasticceria. We even had a very memorable barbecuing night with him and her girlfriend Veronica with excellent food and wine — molto bene! :)
We really enjoyed our time at Cà Stagia and warmly recommend the place!

A fantastic villa in the most beautiful location. The villa's owner Michele is a wonderful host, incredibly helpful and kind.
The villa is modern exceptionally clean and well-equipped. The pool is heated and is simply gorgeous and the views are spectacular.
Bellagio is the most beautiful town and the villa is the perfect place to stay and enjoy it. We can't wait to come back. Thank you for a perfect holiday.

To start I want to mention Michele, who was our amazing host. He was very helpful, friendly, and kind. Michele made our stay better by familiarizing us with Bellagio. Furthermore, our stay here was incredible to say the least. A beautifully kept house with a stunning view of the lake and mountains.
We stayed here with our 3 children for a week and had a fantastic time. The pool is very well maintained and heated. The house is very clean, modern, and spacious with various activities for families. There are plenty of restaurants around and there are also grocery stores close to this location. The village center is not too far and is a nice scenic walk. This location is very quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxing. Truly one of the best weeks of my life. We really appreciate Michele and his beautiful home. Thank you!
