Le Mura room&breakfast Hotel

Very customer orientated, nice location, easy environment, the owner immediately establishes a confidential relationship with the patrons and tends to make him feel at home. The food is good.

After having a review from a friend, I was curious to try this restaurant; Unfortunately I called on a day of celebration, and of course it was closed… The answering machine indicated however a number for emergencies! Since mine was not exactly an emergency, I limited myself to send an SMS to have a reservation, otherwise I would have come close to the reopening; For security, I sent a message also from the FB page of the local (in screenshot) … After 34 hours I'm still waiting for a response from both channels of communication. Of course we found a different accommodation, but it is also passed completely the curiosity to experience a local where, evidently, already have too much work to follow new clientele.

I have been to this local twice both times I had a great time and I was treated like a regular customer. I do not know how to remember people like that but as soon as we entered the second time in the room they welcomed us making us understand that they remembered pleasantly of us. The sweets, especially the sweet of the walls, in my opinion is really good. The meat I ate (under fillet and tartare) was absolutely delicious. If you love eating meat well definitely this is the place to go. The costs are not the lowest, but surely somehow the quality of the food you have to pay a little. By that I don't mean that the prices are excessive, they are right in my opinion.

The restaurant is just a few steps from the pedestrian entrance to the old port, and the parking inside is ideal to leave the car at a low cost (3 euros from 20 to 24) or a two-wheeled vehicle for free. The place is not very large, and this helps to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The environment is conditioned, which does not hurt, especially if it is hot and sulty outside.
The menu is quite varied, but the owner, very courteous and friendly, offered us a few variations. Excellent appetizer based on two different preparations of tartare and fried mushrooms, and also excellent the generous costed that followed. Sweet Spectacular, consisting of a base of chocolate salami with a cream of tiramisu.
Good choice in bottle wines (we opted for two bottles of excellent primitive), but also the wine of the House in the barrel (which kindly we were done to taste at the end of the meal) is an honest wine that is well accompanied by this type of dishes.
Excellent value for money.

One of my favorite restaurants in Genoa. In the heart of the ancient harbor an excellent braceria. Absolutely recommended. The Panisse is very good.

The room is small and cozy and the owner and the guys are courteous and never intrusive and therefore raise the level of the location. Great food, the few covered that have make sure that in the kitchen you can devote carefully to the realization of the dishes. The meat is excellent both the tartàre and the cut uncut. Definitely to try… several times… Many more times.
