I rarely post recommendations — but must share this lovely spot if you are visiting the Cinque Terre! Wish we stayed longer…! The perfect place to stay and explore the Cinque Terre, away from the crowds but only a few minutes walk or bike ride to the center of Levanto. The host, Paula and her daughter Valentina are not only warm & welcoming but experts of the area. The apartment was stunning and they had thought of everything! We can't wait to return & book a longer stay next time!

Weekend in Heaven
This is our second home away from home in Italy —Villa Valentina — we absolutely love it! We were so impressed the first time we stayed there and fell in love with Paula and Angelo that we sold our home in Florida and moved to Italy to run a B&B!
The breakfasts are to-die-for! Homemade, scrumptious and plentiful! New delicious delights each and every morning under the scent of a blooming garden. Every little detail thought of! The setting is just magical and manicured. The gardens are heaven like with the most beautiful blooms each season. The owners and staff are fun and friendly and helpful! The Prosecco is always flowing! Let’s not forget their book of EVERYTHING TO DO! The rooms and apartments are stunningly decorated with no detail left behind. The beds are cozy mozy with amazing mattresses and sheets. Everything is accessible. Dinner reservations managed for you… activities planned… walked mapped… taxis waiting… boats reserved. Every time we leave we are counting the minutes until we return! When we start craving the freshet fish and sea air we know exactly where to drive to! We ❤️ Villa Valentina!

It is a great place, excellent treatment, very cozy and offers many possibilities to visit. Definitely highly recommended. We left wanting to come back. 'll!

Villa Valentina is beautiful. Tucked away from the bustle of downtown Levanto, it offers beautifully decorated and comfortable rooms and gardens that you could spend forever in. Nothing is too much trouble for Paula, Elizabeth and Barbara make you feel at home from the moment you arrive.
Villa Valentina excels in providing every guest with a customised Cinque Terra experience — restaurant recommendations and reservations, boat and cycling tours and advice on the best way to get the most from your Cinque Terra stay. Never felt so personally special anywhere we’ve stayed. We’ll be back!
Oh and make sure you say yes to the amazing breakfasts and aperol spritz!

I fell in love with Villa Valentina in the summer of 2017 when I rented an apartment for a few days before traveling to South Italy with a few days in Genoa before heading home. After my first day in Levanto and at Villa Valentina I rearranged my schedule to spend my last days in Italy here. You'll be greeted with open arms, prosecco and snacks and you'll leave with new friends. I returned for a month in October 2018 and am already planning my return.

The Solomon’s and Brodsky’s started our magnificent Italian vacation at Villa Valentina. We were treated like family! The Inn is lovely, the rooms clean and cozy. Breakfast was a magnificent spread. The property is in the perfect location. They have bikes to borrow and town and the beach are in peddling distance.

The Best welcome ever, a lovely combination of American efficiency and Italian Art de Vivre! Paula and Angelo certainly brightened our stay in Villa Valentina! I strongly recomend it!

We are glad to have found this hotel. The rooms are very nice and clean. The breakfast each morning was great for us. There is a fresh egg from their farm. All the staff are very friendly and very helpful. They give us a free parking ticket in Levanto and also you can buy the ticket from the hotel for the bus going to Cinque Terre National Park with the same price in the train station. The hotel also provide the boat for our site seeing but it will take time for almost 3 hours. I will stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone. Great experience for us!

We have just left the gorgeous Villa Valentina in Levanto. It was an amazing experience to stay here and loved it from the minute we arrived. Our two bedroom apartment was stylishly furnished with comfy beds and a great sofa to relax in. We appreciated all the little extras in our fridge. The breakfast was absolutely amazing with the freshest of tomatoes, fabulous organic eggs, best breads and the girls Barbara, Elizabeth and Paula cooked up a storm in the kitchen to deliver freshly cooked hot breakfast to us. The villa is centrally located and Elizabeth was a real help in directing us to the various activities on the Cinque Terra. Angelo from Villa Valentina took us out on the harbour on his boat and we saw all the towns and had the best lunch at the restaurant in the middle of the 5 towns. We would not hesitate to recommend Villa Valentina and I am already planning my next visit. Well done to the people here.

I just finished a cooking class with Joanne Weir at Villa Valentina. While the cooking class was superb, Villa Valentina made the week spectacular. Paula, Barbara and Elena made everything perfect. The accommodations were fantastic. I loved all of Paula's attention to detail in the decor and and my stay there. The morning breakfasts are amazing. I brought fresh eggs up from her chickens one morning, so fun. I highly suggest staying there. I guanrantee that the owners and staff will make fantastic memories for you. I miss them! Judy levin.

The most outstanding experience I've had in my several visits to Cinque Terre, Villa Valentina and the amazing Paula, Alena, Valentina, Barbara, Rosie, and Angelo make this gorgeous idyllic garden venue with all the amenities in welcoming and meticulous rooms and apartments even more spectacular with their generous hospitality, unparalleled attention to detail, well-appointed rooms and beautifully indulgent breakfast spreads, which include bread baked in-house daily, funnel cakes, bacon corn fritters, French toast, frittata, homemade jam, and even artisanal butter (did I mention attention to detail? ). The location is superb, just up the road from the full-service beach and quaint town of Levanto, which retains its character and charm and is far less crowded than the Cinque Terre proper, yet just four-minute train ride away. They offer shuttle service or bicycles, and if you have a car, as we did, they give you a resident parking pass so that you can conveniently park all day at the train station or in town (did I mention attention to detail? ). We very much appreciated the excellent guidance on dining, what do and see in Levanto, Monterosso, and the expansive region in and around the Cinque Terre. Rife with local insider tips, every recommendation was spot on, from In Cucina or Tortuga for dinner to bikes and routes for a lovely bike ride, aperitivo, and beach day in Bonassola.

Beautiful! We were picked up from the train station by our lovely host, and taken back to the villa to check in. With a full breakfast available from 8am, we were also given amenities in our room we had missed from hotel stay — like a jug to make our own coffee! The room was beautifully decorated with all the features that make you feel at home, very detailed with no stone left unturned. Particularly loved the bathrobes for that exclusive retrieve kind of feeling. Another great feature was the quiet garden, with sun in the afternoon. Having spent a lot of our travels in busy places, it was nice to get away from it all at the end of the day and truly allow ourselves to unwind. Would stay again!

This was an excellent place to stay. Paula, Angelo, their daughters, and staff were phenomenal. Whether you want to bike to the beach, hop on a train to the other villages, or just relax in Paula's beautiful garden, this spot is perfect. I highly recommend Villa Valentina.
