What I liked: 1. Air conditioned rooms with interesting murals 2. Free coffee and pastries, complimentary wines in the eveining 3. Friendly receptionists 4. Kitchen (open 24x7) 5. EU adapting sockets for non-italian devices 6.7 minutes of walk from the Termini station What you should consider before visiting: 1. Toilet articles and towels were not available. Therefore consider bringing your own. One thing I did not like was that one of the bathroom lights were not working and the receptionist told she will fix the next day. Which never happened.

First time staying at a hostel not sure what to compare it to. 5 minute walk from Rome main train station, clean establishment, desk man personable and friendly. Multi story building great to meet people fun atmosphere! I would recommend.

Bed more or less comfortable, small showers. Location not so bad. On the other hand, the staff is very welcoming and chalereux.

The air conditioner was broken when we got there. They said it would be fixed the next day and it was. Friendly staff and nightly happy hour.

Receptionist Girl only positive aspect. His colleague in the afternoon entered the miniapartment while we were not there to arrange with us even three other people. He even made The beds. We had made explicit request for private bathroom, so we would never have accepted it, but the point is that you do not enter a room in The absence of anyone who has already checked in and has his belongings there, unless it is the cleaning lady. In this regard, cleanliness very… Lacking, say so. The girl would deserve to work elsewhere.

Stayed in a private room which is located a 1 minute walk from the hostel itself. Shared bathroom but not overcrowded so feels like it's your own anyway. Lovely place to stay with nice breakfast and free wine in the evenings! Convenient location for metro lines and walking to Colloseum / Forum. Staff were very friendly and helpful and we will definitely stay here again when back in Rome!

We had a private room with private bathroom. The hot water lasted for 10 seconds then had to wait, 10 seconds again and so on. It was quite dirty. The place is old and very used. The walls are too thin you can hear everything from the corridor and from the neighbour's room. The breakfast was only sweets. The only positive thing is that it is very close to Termini and other metro stops.

Good choice to 5 minutes from Termini. Quiet streets. Happy Hour to 10pm. Very good care of Soel. Bring your own towel and padlock. €5 as a room key deposit. Breakfast: cinnamon and coffee, if you stay long, you get bored of the same thing. At night there is not enough silence to sleep until 12pm. You can print with cost. It is ok.

Had a private double room, was clean. Shared a bathroom which isn't really my jam but was all that was available at the time. Was cleaned daily, but the shower was all over the show, hot cold cold hot. Dude at the checkout was happy enough.

Poor customer service. Mould in shower. Not clean. Didnt clean our room during our stay. Comfortable bed and close to the train station were the only good things about staying here. Also — we attended "breakfast" at 9am. 1x croissant left at breakfast 9am nothing else. Nobody at desk to help.

The location is excellent as it is in the Termini area, so you can take buses and trains to many parts of Italy. The cleanliness in general is good. The only thing I don't like is the breakfast, it's very small, just coffee and sweet bread.
You must bring your towel as they rent for 2 euros.

Great hostel and even better staff. Had some issues with a shared shower but the staff was always responsive and immediately took action. If you’re willing to walk a little bit, highly recommended!

The Hostel is good for what comes out, the cleanliness of the rooms was not at all good, the breakfast simple but rich (although the cups were not well washed) and the room was left in another building. Also the shower was not quite right, sometimes it went cold for 1 minute and you froze. Yes the staff very friendly.

Great location with 5 minutes walk to central train station. Helpful and friendly staff. Free breakfast and free wine at the evening. It's in an old building, probably built around post war era.

Staff were friendly and eager to get people interacting. Rooms were clean and colourful — felt very comfortable. Good water pressure in shower. Enjoying my stay. Could use luggage room to keep my bags as I arrived too early to check in.

Great! Excellent localization. The bedroom smells a little bit in entrance. We asked for a double room but the beds were single.

We stayed in a 3 person private room at this hostel with our own private bathroom. The private rooms are in a separate building across the street from the main building so it was pretty quiet at night for us. The staff was very friendly and always had recommendations of places to eat and things to do around the city. The common areas indoor and outdoor were both very spacious. We met some cool travelers from all over the world so it's definitely a good social hostel. They have happy hour everyday from 7-9pm which is unlimited wine (red and white), so definitely take advantage of it, unless you are a wine snob… then don't LOL The city seems big on the map but it's really a walkable city and the hostel isnt far from it all! There is a little restaurant across the street in an alleyway called Sofia which has good american breakfast and 3 course meal combo at night for 15 euros, which includes a drink (alcoholic too). The free breakfast here isn't bad, just a variety of pastries and coffee/tea. We had a kitchen in the apartment with all the other private rooms as well, so a staff member would come over and put fresh pastries in the kitchen for us. Our room got cleaned EVERY DAY but if you don't want that, just let them know.

Hostel is nice enough. Rooms with beds, free morning coffee & pastry, but we got somewhat unlucky with bunkmates. People will come in or go out at any time at all, which is a frustration if you're not on the same sleep cycle. Staff was fantastic though, provided maps and recommendations, and handled several situations promptly and courteously.

Perfect for getting along with other travellers — especially during the wine happy hour! Friendly staff (we were offered some breakfast even though we just arrived that morning at 10), nice room (private room for 3 had one bed upstairs on a gallery) and good location. Bathroom could have been cleaner, my towel was not properly washed. But still a good choice for a 1 night stay. Enjoyed our trip a lot!

Incredible staff. Made friends with them almost immediately. They were very helpful in planning my route around Rome and just great people to have conversations with. The Wi-Fi in the bedrooms was a bit spotty but the more communal spaces had really good connection. The bedrooms are spacious and air conditioned. There are also lockers in the bedrooms to secure your belongings, you will need your own padlock. They also provide a delicious complementary breakfast and wine in the evenings.

I find no fault with this hostel. Friendly, helpful staff; its kept clean; continental breakfast; and a wine happy hour every evening.

Great hostel. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The hostel is in a good area, within walking distance of most attractions. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Best of all, there is free wine each night!

Location close to Termini Station. Staff so helpfull. Big room and always clean everyday. Provide light breakfast and snack in the evening also free drink coffee and tea. Recommended for female solo traveler.

The slightly rustic rooms, is far from trastevere that in my opinion is the best area of Rome for we host us young people. Expensive for the service you give (breakfast very poor, very)

Wi-Fi was not great. And the areas that are used for social gatherings (if that's your thing) are right next to the rooms making it really difficult to sleep if a lot of people are talking. Could hear everything that was going on outside. The breakfast that was included wasn't even what I would call breakfast. Coffee from a vending machine and some sugary pastries. However the staff was friendly and helped out a lot and the location was good. Close to termini station and many good places to eat.

The staff name Soh hel (sorry not sure about the spelling) is superb. He gave alot information and smile all the time. The room was clean and the kitchen was good. The free breakfast is just hot drink with somw bread. They offer free wine and snack at 7 to 9 pm too.

I really had a good time here, good people got to see, good experience to have with friends come wherever. Good room and good location! Good party and good dance together! Definitely will come again!

Simply fantastic! Would pass every weekend here. The stuff is so kind and the location is great right in the center.

It's a good place to stay in rome, very close to termini so it's easy to go everywhere from there.

Good location for bus and train arrivals. Calm area, not so expensive. Private room is confortable. Breakfast and Bathroom can Be improved. Nice stay anyway with pleasant staff.

Dirt cheap, great location, clean, and good services for the price.

Actually in my opinion there was no problem at all. I stayed at 5 beds room. It was so big, clean and no bugs were thare 'cause cleaned everyday. One bread for free breakfast, but kitchen is available and nearby supermarket is located.

Breakfast, a grime, in another local and it is only a cup of coffee and a half moon.

Not worth it! Bed bugs. Non-friendly receptionists. Outside area closes at 10pm. Location is nice but there are other hostels near by who are supposed to be better.

Very cool hostel. Its by the termini which is away from the city center. The actual street that the hostel is located is very nice. If you are willing to travel and save on price then I recommend this place. The staff is very friendly and very helpful with directions and recomendations on restaurants that are not too touristy and offer a good italian feel.

We only stayed one night, and having booked ahead to 4, we had a sufficiently low individual rate (12 euros) so that the value is correct for the night that we stayed.
Wi — Fi worked well without complicated system. Shower and toilet were ok (outside the House)
Bunk beds seemed very precariously.
No lockers for luggage, just a storage space in a garden in raw concrete shed.

Close to Termini Station.

Unfortunately, I was of the good reviews here fool! We stayed for seven nights in the Freedom Traveller Hostel and were very disappointed. My friend and I planned a week-long Trip to Rome and we were looking for a cheap place to sleep. (Meanwhile, we are smarter and would spend more for a place to stay) After all, with the online booking, all went well, we traveled to look at. We landed at the Leonardo da Vinci airport and took a Shuttle bus (15 Euro p. P. ) directly to the Termini train station (we Now know that there is a Shuttle bus for 8 euros p. P. ) The staff speaks English, was nice and helpful. We got a map and a short briefing when it's for Breakfast, and when to sleep. Let's start with Breakfast: packaged muddy Croissants, Cornflakes, non-refrigerated milk non yogurt, toast. (After two days you can not be the stuff to see more). To drink there juice or coffee and the like from a vending machine. Let's get down to sleep. After our "vacation" I have the word in the dictionary, to look up. It was so so loud that I have tried from pace on the Internet to build. The garbage comes in the middle of the night, the people celebrate a lot and loud. Saturday night was a Party at the neighbor's house. The music has our bed vibrate. Our room: Our room was sufficiently large. But the only thing good about the room was that it was not reingeregnet. The room was on the second floor of a house. The room was so dirty.

Good vibes, people nice and close to the sights.
