Comfortable and central Hotel, close to the train station. It is on a 2nd floor and has no elevator at the entrance, you have to climb steps to reach the elevator, which can be tiring if you carry a lot of luggage.

Nice hotel overall. The entrance is in condo with other hotels.
Missing the accessories of room type the disposable slippers that from the Category 4 stars up are absolutely necessary.
The blankets are really untouchable: little clean and poorly kept.
Breakfast is just enough.

Hotel location is great, near metro, opera, santa Maria, not for Frome colosseo,, and also walking distance to piasa papolo, or Spain's step,. Hotel breakfast could be better,, room bit smaller, my room are have street view, service at reception are great, money for the price could be better,

We are very happy with our little honeymoon best choice we have made Hotel Demeter, convenient close to everything in Rome, clean, quiet, friendly staff, wonderful breakfast, one step from Termini station. We stayed two night I slept very well I felt at home, in the last night happened a little problem I went to shower the water was cold however there was already a technician fixing, out of this inconvenient nothing to say, I recommend to everyone, we will be back to Sure.

The hotel is clean has a very good location. The staff is friendly and helpful, the breakfast is good. The rooms are comfortable in the room has everything you need: air conditioning, Internet, kettle, tea set with utensils, toiletries, slippers.

Great location and service. Small boutique hotel close to Rome Termini. Rooms are not big but the bathroom was amazing. Affordable and chic. Clean. I'm not crazy about the area but if you are looking to stay close to the train station, this is a great place.

Ideal Hotel to travel a few days to Rome as a couple, very close to Termini station, with Metro, train and bus. Small and cosy Hotel, they are not very large rooms, but they are comfortable and refurbished really little time ago. Friendly staff and breakfast included very good.

Demetra hotel is in a great location, 5 minute walk from Rome Termini. Many restaurants around, and many shops. Pros: Staff are great. Friendly, helpful, and attentive. Upgraded my room due to mine not being ready, and not wanting us to have to wait. Hotel is on first floor of building, so if lift is down or busy, it's short climb. Beds are comfortable, bathroom big, shower was great. Safe worked great in room aswell. Also a laundrette about 10 minutes walk away, so you can catch up on your laundry while traveling Cons: didn't like the heater/ac. Would turn on randomly, even when I turned it off. But you couldn't set it to what you wanted, it would only heat (set by hotel). It was 20 degrees in November when we were there, and the heater would always come on… Made for some uncomfortable nights sleep, especially as I can't sleep with it being hot. As there are 2 hotels in the floors above, there was work going on, so always the sounds of construction during the day (when waiting for tour, or relaxing before heading out for dinner). Sheets also were a bit lacking on the bed, no proper duvet, just sheets. Overall: give it a solid 4/5. Excellent staff, comfortable rooms, good breakfast, great location.

Hotel located on the first floor of a building with other hotels 2 steps from termini. The room is small but equipped with everything, also the bathroom with many accessories. The only flaw is the external soundproofing away, being in a very busy street from 7 onwards you hear all the traffic in Rome. Good breakfast Very helpful staff.

The toilet is an RV toilet. The shower had the roof protruding so you literally had a 2 sq ft space for your head, and I'm only 5'7". It was near impossible for my 6'4" husband to shower. It was exceptionally hot in the room and the AC had a curtain covering the unit and if you moved the curtain, people on the terrace could see right into your room. We were very unhappy and asked for a refund for our remaining stay, and they refused. Avoid at all costs. If you don't mind staying in an RV, it's probably significantly cheaper to just rent one rather than staying the night in this RV hotel.

Nice modern hotel. Stayed with family for 7 nights. Very happy with the check-in as we got upgraded to a triple room during check-in. Room was clean and in a good shape. Plenty of room considering it's Rome. There's a safe, fridge and coffee or tea-making facilities in the room. If I would really look for something to criticize the room, then I would say that the tray in the shower was missing, so there was no good place to put the shampoo, etc. The reception, breakfast area and room service staff were exceptionally friendly and forthcoming to all of the requests. Additionally, the subway and Termini station are really close, plus there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Main sightseeing attractions are also in walking distance (about 20-minutes). I would stay again when in Rome.

When I read the review of the hotel, it seemed like its a complete disaster. But I must say it's not. Nice stuff, quite clean rooms and sheets, plus a good location. No Wi-Fi for free, 1€ for 1 hour of access. Great for a budget traveller!

My one criticism of the rooms would be the paper thin walls. It is possible to hear your neighbours and we were woken up a couple of times because of this. Overall the Hotel and it's rooms are beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. The staff are friendly and helpful as well.

This is labeled 4-star hotel and it almost delivers the expected quality levels. The rooms are clean and modern (albeit rather small), the staff is extremely polite and helpful, the breakfast is pretty good and varied, the location is central (plenty of restaurants nearby) but not too central (so it becomes too noisy). The accessibility is lacking (plenty of stairs to climb to get to the reception and to the rooms), and the quality of some amenities could be improved. If you ask me it is a little bit pricey for what it offers, but definitely affordable if you compare with other similar hotels nearby. Would I stay here again? Yes!

Very clean rooms with helpful, attentive staff. Location is convenient to the train station and bus stops. Many tourist sites still only a 20-40 minute walk away.

Convenient location to Termini station, around the corner from the opera. Lots of steps inside the hotel so not ideal for the elderly or disabled. Rooms are clean and nicely updated, although bed is very firm and shower is narrow. Breakfast is good, lots of choices: pastries, toast, cereals, fruit, yogurt, eggs, bacon, lentils, cheeses, coldcuts, and a barrista for coffee. Front desk has been super friendly and helpful. We needed a converter plug for our laptop, they had a drawer full and let us borrow one. We needed to print paper tickets that we prepurchased for the sistine chapel and they did it for us. They will hold your luggage in a locked closet prior to check in so you can sightsee. And they give you a password for their Wi-Fi. Decent little hotel with some great restaurants (Matriciana) in the immediate area and delicious gelato within a couple blocks (Wonderful Ice Cream).

What a lovely hotel in an ideal position of Rome. Clean room with all the facilities, fresh sheets daily. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious. Easy short walking distance to Metro, Airport Shuttle Buses. Plenty of restaurants, food stores on the door step. Staff were very kind and polite.

Very new chic modern hotel. They screwed up our reservation so we had to sleep in a smaller room the first night. Also, the shower in the second room is made for people with a max height of 1.50m it seems. But the place is clean, location is awesome, and most of the staff is nice and helpful.

Just as advertised! We had a great stay here, our room was just as in the pictures, it was big and clean, the shower very futuristic. The staff was very polite (the only strange thing was that that they requested the voucher of our booking) and the breakfast was great. Definitely stay here.

Nice, clean hotel, located close to Termini, the biggest station of Rome. About a 30 minutes walk to Tratevere, 20 minutes to the Colosseum en also 20 minutes to El Corso (the central shopping street) and places as the Pantheon. Demetra is also located close to Monti, which is a nice area for wining and dining. Bedrooms are clean, modern and the beds are fine. It is also quiet at night. Very helpfull staff. The white interior doesn't look cosy, but that's a personal thing. Good place to stay in Rome.
