Acropoli

Horrendous. Dirty. Dangerous. Unsafe. This is absolutely ZERO stars.
I was injured because of their terrible layout.
They placed the bed about 2 inches from the wall, and the only way to stand was the area in front of a window, with a curtain about 2 feet away from the window, and along the wall. The open window hit me in the head, I got a concussion and was bleeding from the forehead.
They didn't even have an appropriate first aid kit, and my fiance had to run across the street to buy ice… It was nuts.
We asked to see other rooms that would be less dangerous, but upon walking into a room with horrific stains on the floor, we couldn't consider staying.
This appears to be the European version of a very bad motel, and with the abundance of filth, hanging lingerie in the hallway, clearly an advertisement… And people obviously strung out. Disgusting.
I was disappointed in the filth on the walls immediately, and the fact there was no blanket on the bed… They used the exact same curtains as the ones hanging in front of the window instead of a blanket… After being injured, and seeing just how MORE disgusting the other rooms were, we got out of there and went to a beautiful 4 star hotel around the corner.
If you read this, DO NOT STAY HERE. No matter how cheap, it's not worth it.

I stayed at this hotel because my children had bought a 4 night holiday for my birthday. The lobby looked fine and that was when the fine ended. The room had one bed made from two singles together. They were camp beds. There was an horrendous smell in the bathroom that made me gag. We blocked up the sink, bidet and shower, and although this made the smell slightly more manageable, it was still awful. There was paint peeling off the wall and literally just a bed and wardrobe. I have seen much better hostels than this. We stayed out as late.
As we could each night to stay away from the room. You couldn’t pay me any amount of money to stay there again! The room was definitely not like the one showed online. Even the sofa in the foyer was disgusting.

I stayed here for 1 night as apart of my European football trip with my friend and due to the football match (which was brilliant by the way) and a early fight to France the next day we only spent 4 hours in the hotel, but I have to say that even that was too long, what appears to be a nice hotel on the outside it is the complete opposite in the rooms, as soon as you open the door you are hit with a foul disgusting smell resembling sick, the beds were so uncomfortable, I had to use the blankets in the wardrobe as a duvet and that made me itch and wasn't comfortable at all. There was dirt marks on the wall and the bathroom looked foul, the toilet struggled to flush and the general state of the room was awful. I understand its a budget hotel but you get hostels that are far more appealing and in better condition than this hotel.

Staff at this hotel were very welcoming, friendly and most helpful. The room wasn't the best, which the receptionist did point out on our arrival but it was cleaned every day and the bed was comfortable so can't grumble for the price we paid. Breakfast served a selection of breads, jams, salami and cheese, which was good.
Be prepared for lots of noise from the street throughout the night.
The hotel is in a great location, quite near to the terminal being just a few minutes walk away and is within walking distance to most of the historic landmarks and buildings.
Had a pleasant 3 night stay here and would stay again.

The saying ‘you get what you pay for’ has never been more true. We needed somewhere to stay on a budget so it suited our purpose regardless. It was a quaint hotel with good staff and everyone was helpful. The building and content is old much like Rome itself. Our room had one double two singles for our mum and son trip so plenty of room. Under the bed there was rubbish from previous guests. Shower again old and signs of limescale. Side table, dresser, wardrobe and walls all showing signs of excessive ware. Breakfast was limited and my son went without most morning until we went to the shop for fruit and yogurt. Something I would have expected on a breakfast menu?!? There was no fan (until we asked for one, which was taken from an unused room) no tv, no ventilation in the shower room, and the towels are like drying with paper towels. I did notice that we could barely hear the other guests which is always good at night in the city.
