What a find! A few minutes walk from the Vatican — perfect if you book an early slot for the Vatican tour (definitely recommended as its crazy busy) and the perfect landlady. We booked this via a booking site, but would recommend getting in touch directly with her — she is an absolute gem and she has created a lovely place to stay in Rome. It's essentially two apartments on two floors with 4 en suite bedrooms in each. She has also created a lovely kitchen area with everything you could need including an iron! If you want to have breakfast, you can shop locally and store in the fridge. You may be sharing with others, we met some really nice people who were also staying there. It's Rome, so don't expect it to be big, space is a premium — unless you want to spend much much more on a large hotel room. Good luck finding that! She got in touch most days to make sure everything was good, gave great suggestions for food and was really helpful. We could not have had a better start to a 3 city trip than this. Not far from the underground and buses galore. Lots of really good places to eat and drink too and definitely head to Fabrica around the corner for a fantastic breakfast.
