Residenza Sciarra Suites

The location is very good, and the female morning attendance is nice and she keeps it clean. The building is a bit run down, and the b&b itself is very run down with maintenance very overdue. While it says breakfast is provided that really means tea or espresso and yogurts. One morning we did get eggs bolied in an egg cooker. The pastries and other offering are either stale or packaged low quality. The same thing were out during the stay, so bad no one eats them. The elevator does not go to the floor the b&b is on, so you have to take it up, then walk down a flight. The room itself was vey small and the bathroom was not acceptable at all, filled with black mold. We paid for a family room with a queens and 2 twins. The twins were roll in temporary beds, and the queen had a divot in the right side from overuse that I was stuck in. Not pleasant for sleeping. You had to squeeze between the beds and could barely fit through. There was a safe that was not bolted to anything and as someone else previously share there is not staff afternoons and evenings. Overall would not recommend. Way overpriced for the experience.

Marco is the best waiter that we had he understands customers so well and he is very good at his job God bless you Marco and thank you for wonderful service.

With delay (and sorry) from the date of stay, my husband and I join the chorus of praise for the hospitality we have found. The eyes of Mrs. Caterina laughing over the mask made us feel like we were relatives/friends that she had not seen for a long time. And we felt at home the whole stay. Impeccable cleanliness, large and comfortable room, good breakfast. Excellent point of support to visit the beautiful Rome. <

We booked in 202p but due to Covid the trip was cancelled. The accomodation was pre-paid and Caterina, the host, promised that we could use in a later point. We spent a very good time there in 2021 July. The B&B is next the famous places like Fontana di Trevi, Piazza Vernazza, Pantheon etc. Caterine was superkind! She could not been there but we discussed everything via Whatsup. The room was spacious, superclean, comfortable and cozy. The breakfast was served in the room and it was good and enough to start the day. I just could recommend it to everyone!

Vi spend 2 nights at this cosy, amazing place with the greatest location. The rooms are clean and big, but what makes this place speciel is Catarina who is absolutely amazing! Sweet and serviceminded and always with a smile. This will definitely be the place that we will stay the next time we visit Rome. Our kids had a great time as well — especially with the amazing breakfast that Catarina provided — Bastian will definitely remember the pizza 😃

Central location, view of via del corso, comfort for any attraction in the center, spotless structure and Caterina who runs this place is lovely! highly recommended!

Everything is perfect and excellent❤️

Staying in Rome for just 2 nights, we looked for somewhere central to stay. This B&B is in a perfect location, just a 5 min walk to the Pantheon and the Trevi fountain is even closer. The accommodation is part of a 16th century palace, so there are some quirks to the 2 story family room that we were upgraded to (thank you Caterina). The bathroom with its open beams slopes away and it takes a bit of getting used to showering with a low ceiling, but aside from that, it was perfect. Air conditioned rooms which were very welcome after long walks each day. The breakfast, of cold meats, cheese, juices and fresh croissants each morning was plentiful and tasty… as was the Nespresso coffee machine. Matteo was extremely helpful and friendly, assisting us with a taxi to the Termini rail station on leaving — Caterina also booked a car from the airport to the hotel for€60… well worth it with 5 suitcases. I have nothing but positive praise for La Papessa, the place, location and friendly welcome.
