We spent one night at Monti Garden and really enjoyed our stay. The room was immaculately clean and a modern style, with plenty of space and a comfortable bed. We had Wi-Fi connectivity and breakfast was plentiful, ranging from croissants, cereal, yoghurt to fruit. The breakfast area is on the roof terrace and very green — as the name suggests! Monti Garden is around 10 minutes from the train station which was ideal for us as we arrived and left by train. Colleseum is also 5-10 minutes away in the other direction. Outside Monti Garden are a couple of nice resteraunts in the same street. We went to a pizzeria which was good and seemed popular with locals. The lady at Monti Garden was also very nice! We would definitely go back!

Monti garden in rome. Be aware of this dishonest scammer. We had booked ahead and paid in full. As we we travelling from Australia, we also provided advance notice of our actual flight details (including airline, flight number and landing time), with no issues raised by owner UNTIL the evening of our arrival into Rome. Owner was abusive over phone because HE had not factored in the time it takes to clear customs and to travel from the airport to the hotel and so he refused us the accommodation that we had paid for. No refund was granted and we were left without accommodation on the first night of our honeymoon. Poor form.
