Situated perfectly, very kind and friendly personell. Safe as there are carabineri all day. Clean and comfy!

This hotel is in the middle of everything and has an amazing breakfast.

Fantastic location and wonderful rooftop terrace! I just booked my third stay there. The first time I stayed I had a wonderful room on the corner with beautiful big windows opening onto the square. I've never even looked at staying anywhere else in Rome. It's perfect.

The hotel is located along a quiet side street and is perfectly situated to visit all of the major (and some not so major) tourist attractions. The rooms are modern, comfortable and spotless. The staff are very friendly and courteous and will do anything they can to make your stay a happy one. We would definitely stay here again.

I've been a guest at the colonna palace with my family almost every year for the past 15 years. The location is simply the best in all of Rome and the hotel is clean, amazing views, comfortable rooms and wonderful rooftop terrace where breakfast is served. But most of all the staff (front desk, breakfast, cleaning) is truly amazing, kind and helpful and always makes us feel at home. It's a pleasure to see the same familiar faces year after year and they always go above and beyond their duties to help with everything we need. My family and I stay in colonna palace for many years, every time having a pleasent stay in the center of Rome city center. Breakfast is very good, rooms are very good always clean and tidy, and the staff are always helpful. Hope we can enjoy this hotel for many more years, highly recommend!

I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights in July 2018. The room was in the corner and has windows looking out on two directions. Quiet place to stay. Clean and cozy. The bathroom is also clean and comfortable. The service is great. Air condition and Wi Fi worked great. Breakfast is fine and the terrace for breakfast is great.

This place is beautiful. The people are super friendly. The views are breathtaking. The only issue is that it is near impossible to find if you are not familiar with the area. My best advice would be to go into the courtyard directly in front of the beach and call to have a porter meet you.

This hotel is in a fantastic location. Close to the Pantheon and Spanish Steps and in walking distance to the Colosseum and Forum. The breakfast area had a nice seating area on the rooftop terrace. The only major complaint was their beds are so poor. It is hard to get a good night's sleep after a day of exploring the city!

Excellent location, the concierge a divine who allowed me to speak in my lousy Italian and practice, the waitresses that we saw on the terrace to breakfast a kinder than the other… Divine! The Hotel needs some tweaks and would be ten points, we stayed four days at the start of our trip and three at the end, so we could meet two rooms, the first with balcony facing the back street of the Hotel, comfortable but small and the second without Balcony but with a large window to the front much more spacious and welcoming. The service is wonderful, we were allowed to keep our luggage while we went north and kept in the freezer and in the fridge a medicine how many times we requested it, very cordial people!

A very nice and, above all, perfectly centrally located Hotel. You are in the middle of the City and reach all the Sights perfectly on Foot. The Hotel has a certain Charm, but of course you also have to take into account that it has been under its Belt for a few Years. But this does not dismiss the Flair and the Overall Impression. The perfect Hotel for a City break to Rome.

Comfortable clean rooms, best views with a very tasty breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Well situated to walk to many wonderful sites of Rome. Loved it.

Very nice hotel right in front of Parliament. Nice staff and delicious breakfast. From the rooms you can hear quite a lot of the street (until late at night and Morgensfrüh). Take your ear plugs! The place at the hotel is guarded relatively tightly, so from about 20:00 o'clock you can only get to the square at one point (since it is guarded by Caribineries). Otherwise a very nice hotel!

Great hotel, staff was attentive and friendly at all times, very central location ideal starting point for activities in the centre of Rome.

Great location we could walk everywhere. Beds good size, but hard. Shower way to small. No drying facilities if you get caught in the rain. Front desk staff need to work on their appreciation of customers choosing this hotel, most requests seemed a burden.

Location The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The only bad thing is that it is a hotel that the rooms need a touch.

The staff is fairly average the rooms without heating just a radiator in bathroom room too bruillante no double glazed clean average breakfast always the same but very simple finally we will not go back and in addition remains expensive for the little Benefit.

The hotel is not provided and equipped as pictured. The property is dated back to 15/18 and the rooms are not refurbished except the bathrooms but they are cramped and cramped. The common areas are clean and tidy but the service is not among the best.

Nicely decorated very comfortable, cozy rooms. The roof terrace where breakfast is served is one of the nicest in all Rome. The hotel is in a fantastic location, close to everything and gobs of transportation within just steps. A grand place, prices not too bad and worth the stay.

Rooms could use a refreshment, but as far as very cozy, nice staff and good breakfast.

Breakfast was top rating. Table linen cloths and real silverware and dishes. Wide variety of food. Emloyees of dining room were fast, friendly and efficient. My room was small with single bed, cleaned daily, but ok if you're not in it much with one small standup closet. My sons room was a little larger with a double bed and closet with shelf space. No microwaves. Refrigerator was stocked with some beverages. Don't know if that was additional, didn't drink them. Staff throughout was friendly and efficient. Being this was right by the Parliament it was heavily guarded and had to show my room key many times to get into perimeter to get into hotel. If you're a TV watcher be prepared to watch in Italian only. No radio/clock in room.

Great hotel, central location to everything you want tosee in Rome, staff were excellent and kind, and the views from the roof are gorgeous (Flavian Ampitheatre (Colosseum), Vatican, Altar of the Fatherland. Only complaint was that the Wi-Fi was pretty terrible, which is pretty "first world problem" esq but it was definitely annoying. I'd really say it was 4.5 stars.

It is in the heart of the city. The terrace is very nice especially in the summer time. Only bad thing is that furniture is quite old.

The location was perfect the breakfast amazing but the rooms were old for a four stars hôtel the rooms were not good at all.

Amazing hotel in the best location of Rome, great and large rooms, luxury attitude by the hotel staff and 5 stars service. I would to recommend Sara the head of reception for her amazing service and unforgettable recomendations. We will definitely comeback on the future!

Very loud as the Parliament is across the Plaza and potesters use bull horns during regular business hours for their protesting. No protesting in the evenings or on weekends or holidays however. Air conditioning is not strong enough and rooms are small. The location cannot be beat! It's halfway between Yrevi Fountain and the Pantheon. Our company books us there do I have no choice of hotels. The Nationale Hotel next door is much better at about the same rates.

Overnight stay, courteous and helpful staff, rooms with antique furnishings and also a little ruined — Wi-Fi Internet connection not satisfactory because you lost in continuous connection — breakfast just enough for a 4-star hotel. For the proposed figure I don't recommend it.

I stayed one night at the Hotel colonna. The location is great for a job at Montecitorio, but the Hotel itself is nothing special. Rooms are small, old furniture (not just ancient, the wear and tear is easily visible). Relatively meager breakfast both in quantity and in quality. Welcoming staff. 3 stars would be more appropriate.

The Palazzo Colonna hosts the eponymous Gallery of paintings that is an exceptional place, spectacular and full of masterpieces on display as an old "quadreria" i. E. To fill all the walls.
The apartment of the Princess Isabel and the garden are recommended to fans of the genre. Normally is open only on Saturday mornings, unless you want to pay a visit "Vip" reserved to you but in this case the costs go up.
On Saturday morning we can also be reached by car and maybe it's not very difficult to find parking around.
You can visit, individually or together, the Gallery (essential), the apartments and the garden.
The costs are higher than those of public museums as the environments and the grounds are private and include making guided tour (not required).
The entrance to the Gallery costs € 12 (eye to reductions), while those who want to see everything spends € 30.
Better get there early (opens at 9) to take advantage of the guided tour in Italian at 10 of the gallery and subsequently to that of apartments and the garden (if you're interested in the latter pick a day when it's not raining).

A great hotel close to many of Rome's historical places. The room we had was large and well appointed. The roof top area was a great place to have a drink in the afternoon. Wifi was good. Breakfast seemed typical of what was served in Italy, and was not really all that good.

Colonna Pevero Hotel — luxury collection after 1 week we spent in this splendid luxury hotel we were really relaxed. All was to our satisfaction. The staff was very professional and friendly in the same time. The room with the balcony was a dream, we enjoyed having our breakfast and dinner on swimming pool. The Colonna Pevero Hotel is fabulous. We were treated like royalty — the staff is superb! The rooms are lovely and quite spacious. We will book again this luxury hotel in case we will have an other holiday in Sardinia at the costa smeralda.

My family and I have stayed at this superb hotel on numerous occasions over the past 20 years, in addition I have recommended the hotel to friends and business colleagues, and have sent my staff to the hotel for long weekend in Rome as a bonus. The location is unbeatable with the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navrona, Spanish Steps, Colosseum all within easy walking distance, in addition to numerous restaurants, and great shopping opportunities. The rooms are spacious and have recently been totally refurbished to a high standard. I rate the services provided by the staff, from the porters to management, amongst the best experienced in hotels over many years on three continents — nothing is too much trouble for them. I look forward to many more stays at this superb hotel with it's friendly and efficient staff including Ettore, Rosalina, Piero, Maurizio, and Fernando to name just a few. Arr.

We were in Rome the first part of May and had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. We stayed here several years ago and when we decided to make another trip with family members, we recommended we stay here. The staff is very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast offered on the roof top terrace is very nice. It offers fresh fruit and a good choice of rolls, drinks. The location is ideal for walking to the Trervi Fountain, Pantehon, Piazza Navona, and Spanish Steps. There is a good choice of eating places within a short walking distance. We will stay here again on our next trip.
