Beautiful hotel and great atmosphere! customer service at the check in lobby was very attentive to my needs, the only issue I had was calling for housekeeping 3 times and no one came. They made up for it with chocolates and a sweet note thank you. Really enjoy the sabering, live music, and the lovely breakfast all freshly made. The architecture and design is exceptional. Had a wonderful 6 lovely days here will definitely visit again soon Happy holidays to everyone at the St Regis Rome🇮🇹 🙏🏾

The worst hotel we have ever stayed. The general manager likes to have an expensive hotel and a night club at the same time. You can not have dinner or drink tea in the only one restaurant at the hotel. Because music is so loud there you can not speak or hear anything. Never again!

The hotel staff are very friendly. After the check in at the front desk, the lady walked us to our room. The hotel room is decent size, clean and cozy. We’ve been enjoying our stay so far.

This hotel was a dream to spend 5 wonderful nights in! Historic building is impeccably decorated, with beautiful rooms and luxurious amenities. However the morning breakfast staff was my favorite part of the day: the manager Karolina was effortlessly gracious and treats each guest with such care; Chef Cristiano will make you be best eggs and have wonderful conversation; I hope you are able to be served by Giada — she was the best, so sweet with the highest attention to detail! The entire staff of the St Regis made each day a spectacular!

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel in the world. Service is great. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, especially Giada G, Eva, and Salvatore in restaurant are super duper sweet and helpful. They made us feel like home. We love them.

1. Room Service never knock doors or knock once straight open. No privacy. 2. No attention to customers. Never given water when you seat for breakfast. 3. Surprisedly, No green salad for breakfast. 4. TV signal broken down for two days as they do maintenance. 5 fire alarm turned on three times at midnight. Staff advised it false alarm! This hotel is renovated with a good facility. However the services and standard is 3 star!

Fabulous hotel! Beautiful place, gorgeous ambience.

I was at the bar this afternoon with my friend, to pay out the bill, when the Barman raised his voice for an observation I made. Low level of hospitality, not excusable for a such good hotel. I made the administration aware. I also want to precise the the hotel is exceptional, this was a problem with the bar at the lobby.

My absolute favorite hotel anywhere. Nice rooms, great restaurant on site (worth going to, even if not a guest at the hotel). Glorious lobby, best lobby bar anywhere. Breakfast buffet was fantastic! If you like omelettes, the chef makes the best you'll ever have! The staff is very friendly, very helpful. It's expensive, but no more so than many places in Europe or New York, many of which don't come close to matching the experience of the St. Regis in Rome. Oh — almost forgot: ideal location in city centre, 300 yards from Termini, easily walkable to the ancient ruins.

The best part of Rome. This truly is a world class hotel that lived up to its name. I would go back a hundred times. It is kept super classic to the core even in the rooms. They also have a champagne opening ceremony every day at 7pm. Its a pity I couldnt attend but would have been a magical evening.

Our stay was amazing! We we're upgraded to a deluxe room with complimentary Butler service — a real treat! The room was decorated with love flowers upon our arrival, and everyone has been incredibly cheerful and helpful with any questions. There is a tea ceremony in the afternoon, a champagne ceremony in the evening, and live music constantly in the main lobby area. The location is in East Rome. We like walking, and this hotel is close enough to all major landmarks that we've only needed to take a cab one time — everything is walkable if needed. This is an amazing hotel!

This hotel is one of my all time favorites, for opulence, fantastic service, multilingual staff, benefits, SPG points, the butler! I could go on and on. And a wonderful area too. Concierge goes out of their way for you too, even ahead of your visit.

As person who is on the road 200 days a year to stay at this place was one of the most memorable stays EVER, The staff is simply unbelievable in their attention to detail, no request is too small, right from providing warm milk to my young nephew several times a day, never once it was charged, not to mention the countless cups of coffee and pastries with it, never charged.

We had a great stay at the St. Regis, when we came to Rome in February of 2017. It was in the midst of being renovated in one wing, but the noise from construction only started after we were already up and out of the hotel. Didn't really notice it at all when we were in the room. The decor of the room was somewhat opulently dated, but still very comfortable! The amenities had everything you'd expect in a 5* hotel. Lots of nice little tidbits showed up each day, which were much appreciated. There was also an old style lift where you have to manually open/close the metal doors to operate it. Hopefully, they won't remove this feature during the renovation work as it's really cute. As others have commented the lobby renovation is absolutely spectacular. One downside was that due to the renovation work the restaurant dining room was closed, but they did setup a temporary space with some tables for dining service. The food was very good. Overall, a great place to come back to after doing tourist things and the staff were very pleasant too. I'm sure it'll be even more sumptuous once the renovations are complete.

The best of Rome. Luxury in pure state.

We were declined a partial refund and this is the email I sent. We have just eaten at your establishment as a christmas treat to ourselves however, we do not usually complain but as a treat we wanted to pay for an upmarket sit down dinner with table service. I must say we were not made aware of the fact that it was a buffet. The menu we were shown was a 4 course meal. When we arrived during the buffet none of it was labeled so we were unaware as well of what each one was. We had to go up and get a drinks menu and then go up to get served our drinks. Our plates and empty bottles took some time to be cleared and the main issue we had was we arrived at 2:15 we were never told the buffet finished at 3 we took our times as it was an experience we wanted to prolong and then when we went to get desert and it was shut. But we were never told of any of this. Im extremely disappointed. The venue was beautiful but the service and food was not. Moreover, if we had knew, we would have arranged something different.

Just a visit but it seems very pleasant. Staff polite and helpful. Try the bloody Mary, it's a real treat.

Hotel has a lot of history and you can see it in the rooms and architecture (in a good way). The staff were all extremely helpful and welcoming. The omlet chef at the breakfast is one of the most cheerful and friendly guys I met. Despite the high price tag, I'd recommend staying at this hotel. It's well worth it.

Beautiful and luxurious Hotel within walking distance of Republic Square. The décor is rich and nice and the service is excellent. You can also have an aperitif or a tea always accompanied by small delicacies. The property also has a nice spa and a small fitness area.

Renovations still ongoing but will be completed in the coming you. The lobby redesign is nothing short of stunning.

From the moment you walk in the St. Regis you are on the red carpet and treated that way! We were lucky to have Giovanni as our butler who made sure my husbands & my clothes for the day were ironed (no charge) and opened our champagne in our room at arrival. The room had a beautiful view, the brunch was delicious with many selections and tea time was a fine experience too! Our last evening was on a Sunday and we had dinner while a lovely man played every song we requested on the violin. He was a very talented voice and also plays the flute!

Very elegant lobby that has been refurbished. The rooms need an update. A pet peeve of mine is a bathroom with a pedestal sink and no counter space. Should not be the case in 5 star hotel. Shower was oversized and could easily fit 5 people. Use some of that space for a counter and then I'd have no complaints.

Great service. The room decor is that of luxurious roman villa. Very nice experience. Butler service is great perk.

While the service was excellent, the rooms have a Dated interior that that borders between run down and intentionally garish in decor. Marks on walls and wear in bathrooms was evident in both of our rooms. The hotel bones have charm and the staff is attentive and did what they could to help the situation (loud construction on the hotel), but I wouldn't stay again.

Nice bar and our waiter was very nice and helpful. Drink prices are what you would expect at a place like this. Comfortable lobby. Live music (guy playing violin to accompany music from his MacBook, though he did take requests)

Absolutely top quality hotel. I have stayed in Marriott and SPG properties for over 300 nights and this is one of, if not the, best hotel I've ever been in. Located right in the middle of Rome it puts you right where you want to be.

Finished by chance for overbooking… 5 stars not by chance…

Spent a week here in what I believe is called a Junior Suite, which had a bedroom with king size bed, a bathroom with a shower that could fit a small army, bathtub, bidet, dual sinks, and a toilet. There was a "dressing area" and a living room with some seating. It was pretty incredible. The butler service was fantastic for the little we used it. My only complaint is that we couldn't figure out how to turn the TV off. (Don't laugh, it's not a normal television) so we just unplugged it. The lobby, halls and ancient elevator were all amazing to just look at, having been recently renovated. The staff were over-the-top friendly and generous. If you can afford it, I highly recommend staying here.

The hotel is under construction but we were not in anyway affected. We were in a deluxe on the 1st floor w a court yard view. The staff helped us with directions everyday. They cleaned the room and gave us a healthy supply of toiletries. They gave us water, fruit and cookies in our room. The food is awesome at very reasonable prices. The dinner room service is totally worth it. The best thing is the location we walked as far as the Vatican daily. All the historically sites are within walking distances. There are even a few local restaurants that are not tourist traps around the corner. The blue point laundromat is around the corner at very affordable prices.
Watch out for coffee shop just across the street for a coffee n croissant they will charge you tourist prices but its confident.

We were there around Christmas time, and let me tell you the hotel was beautifully decorated! The rooms were spacious and superb. We definitely enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Beautiful hotel and wonderful service. We were only here a short time, but felt it difficult to leave our beautiful hotel room to explore the streets of Rome! We were even greeted with a bottle of champagne to celebrate our honeymoon.

Breakfast is amazing. The rooms are really nice and the staff is very nice.

We arrived at 10:00 to check in. They said the maid was cleaning. False. At 5:00 we are still waiting, but nothing. Give me my room so I can nap!

Elegant and regal. Classic style. Excellent wait staff. Loved sitting in the large, sumptuous "lobby" (elegant living room is a better description). My daughter spent an entire evening there one night. No need to go anywhere else. Snacks and appetizers served with cocktails were excellent. The "sabering of the champaign" (a ritual uncorking of a bottle by a tuxedoed waiter) celebrating the official beginning of the evening at 7 PM was a delightful surprise. Live music played upon a grand piano all night enhanced our experience. The massive orchid display was absolutely gorgeous. We enjoyed meeting many fellow travelers while relaxing in the lobby that night. It was thoroughly charming. The coffee Patron tequilla was a realtreat too! Our room was gorgeous. Very elegant and beautiful. Thank you!

As hospitable a hotel as I have ever been in. Avoid the rooms overlooking the main street if you want to sleep in. Bed was too comfortable.

The condition of the hotel leaves much to be desired. The first day we had no hot water. After several visits from maintenence, the second day we had no cold water. After another day of visits from maintenance their "fix" was lukewarm water which couldn't be adjusted. If we wanted a working shower we'd have to move to a smaller room. The staff was eager to help, it wasn't their fault. The concierge was excellent and made wonderful recommendations for dinner every night.

Can I give more than 5 stars? This place is absolutely amazing! I was blown away with the elegance of the St. Regis Rome. Close enough to walk to a number of Rome's most popular landmarks like the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain. Spanish Steps and a longer walk to Vatican City.

Absolutely wonderful! Obviously, a first class hotel in an awesome location. It was a great centralized spot for site seeing and close to a lot of great food.

First class hotel. The staff are excellent and so welcoming. The rooms are simply beautiful.

Although it is not in the famous Via Veneto, is very close to the Centre for walking and the relationship quality price for a five star hotel is fantastic. It has parking (fee), massages and a good restaurant. Best of all is to take tea or his famous bloody mary in the afternoon, listening to the piano. And see how are uncorking bottles champagne with the Sabre, a spectacle.

Staff are rude a arrogant for people that could not stay in such a place themselves. Someone needs to humble them out.

This hotel happens to be the best During my tour in Italy. The location is just perfect. The staff are professional. The best of all is the Concierge team, they made our stay more enjoyable. They really deserve the 5 stars.

A beautiful building that is larger than most hotels in Rome with very spacious rooms: huge bathrooms and wonderfully detailed accommodations. It's conveniently located to many of the historical places you would normally go to like Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and the Colosseum. The staff is very helpful and attentive as you would expect at a St. Regis.

Last June while in Rome we ate at Vivendo the restaurant at the St Regis. We have been to many top notch restaurents around the US, Europe and Asia, however our dinner at Vivendo was without a doubt the most amazing dining experience we have ever had. Make sure you get the chefs special menu with wine pairings. It is costly, but you will not mind as you will cherish the memory for the rest of your lives.

The room was beautiful and we got a free upgrade from deluxe to a Jr Suite thanks to our starwood rewards. The service was generally prompt and very kind. Their prices are a bit high but you should expect that from a 5 star. Requesting a private car is very overpriced, as is the room service. If it weren't for the high price this would easily be the best hotel. The plaza is beautiful with a nice shopping street. It's just a minute walk from Termini station and has a good selection of places to eat in the area. They have a good price for Internet usage. They have a dining area and a restaurant. The dining area is okay with a bit high of a price. The restaurant is touted as one of the best in the city and it is no doubt. It may seem expensive, which it kind of is, but the food is amazing and the price isn't really that bad for a full 3 course meal, wine, and immaculate service for a romantic meal.
