Friendly staff, excellent service, very clean rooms, all in all fantastic hotel.

Welcoming and helpful staff, beautiful and homely environment, delicious foods and drinks and its really near the city center. Plus, they have a cat, what else is there to ask for? :D.

I thoroughly enjoyed the quaintness and how convient it is to Rome… The breakfast was good too! The bidet made me laugh!

Hotel is very much next to the Aquaeductus, as the name suggests. The decor inside could be improved by not mixing with modern sofas and lamps and other such stuff. The rooms are small but love the view from my room no. 11. Very comfortable size bathroom. Still need to go for my breakfast so cannot comment on that. The garden is cute small place to sit and enjoy drinks and coffee. The hotel has a newly installed elevator so no issues with heavy bags.

The hotel is adequate but I would not use it again. The room was small with no drawers so you Have to live out of the suitcase weather you want to or not. The breakfast was very basic and don't turn up within the last half hour because even though they are still serving, there was hardly anything left. There is no brew kit in the rooms or option to take towels if you fancy a beach trip. The aircon takes a long time to cool the room and the cleaner turns it off whilst you are out, so you return to a hot room after a day out. The hotel is described as over looking a nice historic aqueduct but doesn't tell you there are homeless people that sleep underneath it, so it's not the nice view that you would be led to believe. I am surprised no one sweeps the rubbish from the front of the hotel which isn't a welcoming site when returning back daily. The shower head was broken and the water goes hot and cold constantly whilst using it. I am not moaning like some people do, this is a truthful review. We had a great time in Rome and the hotel has got very friendly staff. Perhaps not all rooms are like ours, you may be luckier.

Okay but is it really four stars? Room felt a bit cramped if you ask me.

Nice (not too spacious) rooms, good service and equipped breakfast in lovely garden terras. Quite a busy road at night but a lovely view from the room.

Super sweet hotel. Great hosts. Recommended to everyone. You can get there by train or bus everywhere. The breakfast is typical Italian and very tasty. The staff are super nice and very friendly :) continue like this and maybe we'll come back :)

This would be a 4th hotel. I do not know because of what criterion obtained such a rating fact is that as visible from the attached photos you can notice how shabby/bad/dirty/broken was the room in which I stayed.
The quality level of the complex but especially of the room is comparable to a cheap and maligned starless guesthouse. I stayed in hostel rooms far better than the one visible in the picture: tiny room, the bathroom door in the opening touched the bed, I wanted to photograph it in full but it was so small that I would need a wide angle to do it and no joke; the bathroom was of a hallucinatory squalor, broken pieces like the arm holder of the shower and the soap holder, anyway all of an unspeakable crap and ugly; The details then I'll tell you to do. Just see that the safe rests on a piece of plywood put there so much for, and that the fixtures and ceiling have "details" from the caravans of a Roma camp, cleaning that I would question.
As far as I'm concerned it was an accommodation paid for by the company for which I work, I had paid it out of my own pocket I would have reacted very differently, I laughed.

Absolutely charming hotel! Boutique style. Staff very nice. Breakfast is continental, big variety, no pancakes. 10min slow walk to Manzoni subway. 25 minutes walk from Termini train station. Beautiful view of ancient aquaductus. We stayed 4 nights and loved it!

Nice garden and common areas.

The receptionist was extremely helpful with any questions I may have had. I enjoyed the breakfast every morning between 7AM till 10AM. The Hotel itself was very clean, and also had a beautiful garden.

Nice rooms and the decor of the common areas. Careful when ordering a taxi, you pay commission to the hotel.

Don't expect to find yourself in a 4 star hotel The property remains random the very small room and a tiny bathroom brief this hotel is a small 2 star hotel…

I dont recommend this place. This is not a 4 stars hotel.

Good location. Around a 20 minute walk to the Colosseum and even closer to a stunning Basilica. Views of an ancient aqueduct out of the window. Close to a metro and tram stop. Friendly and helpful staff.

Lovely little hotel, helpful staff and close to local transport. Only downside is no facility for breakfast if need to leave before 7.30 for airport or booked trips, even if paid for. But a very enjoyable stay.

The hotel nice but the rooms too small. For a short trip but sufficient. Walking distance to the Colosseum and the Spanish Steps (approx. 20 minutes).

Very pretty, comfortable, and conveniently located. It's close to Rome's central train station, Termini, but perhaps not quite walking distance. Very close to trams and bus stops, within walking distance (around 10-minute walk) of the Manzoni Metro station (Line A, red on the maps). Very good breakfast in house, easy walk to lots of good restaurants. The courtyard is private, with a bar, sporting fountains inspired by the ubiquitous public drinking fountains. Across the street are ancient aqueducts, with trams squeezing through the arches of the arcades. Easy walk to Sapienza University of Rome. Fairly near to the center of the the ancient Roman wonders — — one metro transfer needed at Termini — — but it's not in the heart of that part of the city nor particularly close to the Vatican, but the Vatican metro station, Cipro, is also on Metro Line A. There are direct trains and buses (not Metro) from Termini to the major airport (FCO). On balance, Hotel Emona is very good value but not for those seeking the least expensive lodging.

4 star hotel with 2 star conditions and 4 star prices.

Lots of restaurants near here. Close to metro lines for easy access to all attractions. From desk very nice and spoke some english. Rooms well decorated, clean and reasonable in size.

Nice entrance with the garden. Room to renovate/improve. Uncomfortable shower.

Room half broken and dirty. Very high prices. Awkward breakfast.

I stayed here 2 days after my cruise. It's a beautiful quaint place. Not your USA typical hotel, which I was so thankful for. I wanted a true Rome experience. The staff speak English and was very helpful at giving directions and change when I needed it for the subway. Complimentary breakfast every morning and even let us eat early on our check out. Would highly recommend it!

Room was a little on the small side but had everything you need. Air conditioning etc. The road outside was noisy however! Only a short walk from the metro and trams. Good selection at breakfast and friendly/helpful staff.

The hotel is located conveniently near to the Termini train station but unfortunately further from lots of Rome's attractions. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I enjoyed the breakfast. For the first two days of our stay the air conditioning had not been turned on and we had to leave the door open as it was too hot. Unfortunately this meant sleepless nights due to the noisy traffic outside. We were told the reason the air conditioning wasn't on yet is because it hadn't been hot enough (even though it was 26°C.

Friendly staff, cute and quirky decor, rooms are comfortable, view is great! Free breakfast! Great Wi-Fi connection. My only issue is the shower. The water would range from lukewarm to hot sporadically.

So lovingly as the reception/lounge is set up, it also our room was built. Colored fits the bed linen to the wallpaper, curtains etc. Nice large bathroom. Were very kindly answered my questions before booking demand in English or German language, only the boss's mood even. The breakfast was sufficient for the Germans, there were not only cute. Centrally located, it is always, around the corner Street, Metro trains 10 min, ca, get to the Lateran on foot in 10 minutes. From there, you can reach so some u walk. Here we come again.

Class hotel Pro: — multilingual staff — breakfast — fast wireless Internet connection — clean well maintained room — public transport on foot in one minute reached Contra: – is not directly in the Centre – single room really small table was all-in-all not usable because bed has taken the place of the Chair you can but without hesitation recommend this hotel! Should I come back to Rome, I will book this hotel again.

The breakfast was good with all the usual foodstuffs that you would expect, plus a wide variety of fruit and scrambled eggs and bacon. The staff, Andrea and Polona were friendly and helpful, while Maria the Manager suggested us to visit the Hantai-exhibition sponsored by the Academy of France in Rome, that includes the wonderful guided tour of the gardens and the Villa Medici itself.

The location is very good tram and Metro seaside can be reached and the train station, about 12 minutes. A great service and breakfast is very rich and tasty. I would stop here again. Very much recommended.

Very nice small hotel, good location near the train station (you should run the line but not with a lot of luggage) and the Metro line A (station Manzoni). Breakfast was simple but totally ok. Clean rooms, Nice staff that speaks also German and English and is very helpful.
