Great room. Clean and modern. Very quiet. Good location. It has an elevator which is a big plus for me. The last two hotels we have stayed at in Italy did not.

Can't beat the location and breakfast here. My favourite breakfast item was the marble chocolate and butter cake, what a treat to have cake and crostata for breakfast. We were upgraded to the room with a round bed which was nice. The only issue was the location of the shower over the bath, which allowed water to spill onto the floor. We only stayed a couple of nights and the location was perfect for getting in and out of the train station. It is also walking distance to some interesting neighbourhood areas away from the tourists hordes and the immediate seedy train station area.

Closely located to termini, walkable to main attractions, and many great restaurants nearby. The staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. The continental breakfast was great with a lot of options. The iron and board are not permanently in the room, so we ironed what was needed for our 3 day stay. Our corner room was spacious with beautiful bathroom and a nice view of the bustling street below, although quite for sleeping. We greatly enjoyed Roma and our stay here!

Perfect location across from Termini station, connecting you to all lines including regional trains to other cities. Rooms are very clean and the superior executive rooms are worth it — they come with a seating area and much more space. Bathrooms are spotless. Breakfast was great too. Friendly staff with useful suggestions for the sights and restaurants. All tours depart a few steps away, too. Overall a perfect stay.

Service is great. We were able to check in early. Breakfast on the Penthouse deck was enjoyable.

The staff was very kind (reception, Breakfast, cleaning).
A special greeting for Elisa (reception), she was amazing and very helpful explaining to us the best places to visit. She was always with a smile.
The Breakfast was delicious and served on terrace.
The room was very nice, quiet, with a big tv, with safety box, a mini bar, and the bathroom was good too with a shower and amenities.
The TV should have a portuguese channel.
In general hotel was very good.

Lovely boutique hotel near Termini, loved the modern rooms and facilities and breakfast in the terrace was great. I would highly recommend this hotel if arriving or leaving by train.

Very nice hotel on middle of Rome, very close to termini rail station. Room very clean and modern. Has a lift. No bar but you are on the centre of Rome.

Convenient to everything including the train station. Friendly, attentive staff and their breakfast was the best way to start the day. (especially the chocolate filled croissants)

We were extremely pleased with our stay. The entire hotel is beautifully modern, and the rooms are clean. The free breakfast was fantastic, and the staff was very friendly. The hotel is less than a 5 minute walk to the Termini Station, which is perfect for catching a train to the airport or another part of Italy.

It is a great hotel because it has very good service and everything (beds, toilets, TV…) is very good. It is also very beautiful in the inside due to its modern and comfortable looking design. I really recommend it if you want to feel comfortable when you go to Rome.

More like 2.5 than a 4… how it's supposedly a four star is beyond me. Higher rated for some reason, very old but roomy and right across the street from the Termini main train station in Rome. Very nice restaurants in the area, from budget to upscale all in the vicinity of prostitutes, shady men, tourists and expensive cars… bit odd for an American but normal for Europe. All in all I would stay here again, for the right price.

If you want to stay in some ghetto looking area of the city this is the place. There is no way it’s a 4 star hotel! Rooms are actually nice, clean and modern, but the lobby with holes in a ceiling, dirty hallways and elevators that look like under construction that’s been going on for an extended period of time. Breakfast is very mediocre to say the least. One plus, it’s close to the metro station Termini, but that’s about it.

Very good position for trains and buses, restaurant and bars. Hotel nearing end of refurbishment, rooms are of a high standard. Staff friendly, breakfast good. All in all would recommend.

Hello we stayed in this hotel to start our honeymoon on 5/22/18. After an issue with my beautiful new wife’s luggage being lost at the airport we arrived at this hotel. We were greeted by warm smiles and a friendly demeanor. I would like to say Fabrizio (sorry if I spelled his name wrong) was very pleasant and helpful. All the staff seemed to care about the missing luggage. The room was very clean and new. They included breakfast with your stay, the breakfast was good and staff was nice. The reception helped us with all out questions about the area. Great location next to the train station. Great stay and would recommend.

We had amazing three days in this beautiful hotel, lokation is outstanding, 50 m from all public transport, rooms are very spacious, clean and newly renovated. Alessandro, the receptionist, was very helpful and kind. If you are coming to Rome for a few days, this place is definitely the best choice.

We stayed here for 3 nights during Xmas 2017 between 23-26dec. We loved the location, it is directly opposite termini train station and is very easy and Convenient to get from there to all the tourist attractions via the subway. There is plenty of food and supermarkets around the hotel and the station, some are open to late and also open on christmas day (to our surprise). It was also convenient to get to termini from the airport, on the way there we took the airport bus from the airport, it was direct and cheap but infrequent and took about an hour. On the way back we took the Leonard express train to the airport, which is a lot quicker and runs every 15 mins, but is also a lot more expensive. The hotel room itself was newly renovated and clean, with chic design, the bathroom had some trendy blue night. The room wasn't very big but it was clean, which was all that mattered to me. There was flat screen tv, air conditioning, some toiletries and hair dryer. There was also a fridge, but unfortunately no kettle nor tea nor coffee. I would have much liked there to have been a kettle for this class of hotel. The room had a uninteresting view. Breakfast was a buffet style breakfast, with a variety of breads, cakes, salad, hams, cereals cheese and juices and hot drinks. There were also two hot items — scrambled eggs and bacon.

Very good… Spacious, modern and comfortable rooms. Smart TV with music on demand and others. Free Wifi and good. Full breakfast. Very close to termini. Very good.

We went to Gioberti Art Hotel for my birthday as a nice weekend away in Rome. Had a great time. The staff and reception staff were brilliant. Excellent hotel, very good location and great service. They have modernized it and their rooms and bathrooms have improved a lot!

We stayed in the executive room (with the round bed) for four nights. Very impressed with the size of the room, and its very new and modern so we felt very comfortable sleeping. It's also clean and the service was also splendid, staff were very helpful. Downsides for us is that because the hotel location being so near to the station, it can be little noisy and Wi-Fi is indeed unstable (intermitten dropouts), breakfast selections were also limited. Overall, its still a good hotel to stay at as the rooms are very good which were our key criteria.

Brilliant and clean hotel. Great location very close to Roma Termini Railway Station All around different ethnic restaurants and cafes. Train, metro and tramway available. Sightseeing spots and sites very close. In the hotel, the breakfast was quite good. In particular the breakfast staff members were extremely friendly.

I wanted to spend Christmas in Rome this year and chose the Art Hotel Gioberti. I was very surprised how great the conversion was. I had a room with a round bed. The bathroom was clean, but I couldn't use the shower because the water was so hot that I would have burned myself. I then asked to put this thing right. Unfortunately, this did not succeed until I did my extract.

Completely refurbished, all new, in fact still in works at this time. Breakfast is regular but the friendliness of the staff unsurpassed. The perfect location for sightseeing, although the atmosphere in the neighborhood is a pretty crappy.

Great place! Great breakfast; great customer service and great decoration. Location is next to Termini station so it is quite easy to move around Roma. Price/quality is fair enough. If I come again to the city I will come back here.

Nice clean room, good staff. Placed near the Termini (train station). Only one downside: because it's location, it's a bit scary to go outside after dark. Otherwise a great hotel.

Great location next to the bus stop and train station that gets you nearly anywhere in rome…

I'm conflicted about this place. The "Art" felt more like artwork that your aunt would collect who thinks she knows about art. It's a mix between scary mimes, marble and ultra contemporary design. They jazzed up some white painted branches with white Christmas led lights. Yet everyone was nice The cleanliness, breakfast and hospitality is the usual fare. The servers spend most of their time talking in the hallway during breakfast. It's a block away from the main train station so it gets dodgy after 11pm. But this also makes it super convenient to travel to and from. internet speed is a paltry 1mbps. It took 9 hours to upload 250 photos.

The newly renovated floor of this hotel is snazzy and comfy — stay tuned, things are looking fabulous at this hotel! Our group of 36 students from the US stayed at the Gioberti Hotels (Gioberti Art, also) 12 of 16 nights in Italy over 3 stays so this became home to our group. The neighborhood is colorful and friendly with everything you need — grocery, restaurants, souveniers. The Termini station location is ideal for a quick jaunt to Florence or a trip to the Pantheon for gelato. The staff is lovely — interesting and hardworking to make your stay a success.

Good location at 2 steps from Central Station and perfectly connected! Street chaotic entrance not comfortable especially for the renovations that are performing and structure a little dated!

I just came from Japan Tokyo! One day for relaxing before going back home. Location is very good. From airport very easy way Enterence very incoming smiley faces with warm Italian way! The front desk is full with information and English speaking as well "Smile to Elisa " The room is very big and open space, design very modern nice and big bathroom. The stuff are very friendly, breakfast is full with good things. Next time I'll stay more days between flight or just straight to Rome to the that hotel!

Rooms were modern and sleek, service was awesome for information they spoke English very well. Also location right next to main station with good info on tour buses right at the reception desk of the hotel. Definitely recommend.

The rooms were modern and spacious, with huge bathrooms. The breakfast was lovely, the staff were so nice and friendly. We had a mishap with the city tax and the front desk was so apologetic and great. It's close to the terminal and not far from most sites. I would love to stay here again.

Great for a Trip to Rome… Is very well located next to the Termini. Good conclusion point for all lines. Very friendly staff. Delicious Breakfast… Only drawback is that I wouldn't trust as a woman alone in the night my way through the street. But for this the Hotel can nothing. Security is always in front of the hotel entrance, which gives a little security.

Wonderful hotel with exceptional staff! Very easy walk from Termini train station — 1 block — beautiful rooms with excellent amenities — very comfortable beds — fantastic breakfast! Nice to be near station and Metro for easy access to the rest of Rome. I enthusiastically recommend the Hotel Gioberti.

Ignore the reviews that say bad things about this place. We have had an awesome experience. Breakfast was excellent, staff has been very friendly and helpful. This is a great place to stay if you don't want to schlep you luggage all over Rome. Literally 1/2 block from termini station. Get off the train and your at your hotel in the blink of a eye. Clean rooms too. I would stay again, in fact I am as we just reserved a room for our last night in Rome at the end of the week.

Great room in a good location. The hotel is very close to mass transport for the city and within walking distance to the all the sites. The staff was helpful and knowledge about the city and telling us where to go to in Rome.

Location is very dangerous not recommend to stay. Breakfast Tastes not so well (the muffin is harder than a stone) the only good thing of hotel is only new. But all things are not reaching 4 stars or staff's attitudes not even reach 3 star. I saw a female waitress always scratch her legs in the morning (which I can see her tattoo! )

The smiling, friendly and helpful reception and service staff are wonderful at Gioberti Art Hotel. We really enjoyed our stay here although the location isn't fantastic if you're planning on seeing the main sights in Rome — you'll need to catch a taxi or metro to get there or walk 30 minutes which is a tough ask during the midst of a hot summer's day. The reception area is modern and chic. Rooms are very large for Rome standards and they're very modern and clean which was great. Wi-Fi is super fast and coverage is great. Breakfast spread is quite expansive and well apportioned. Some negative points: * Be aware that at night, the area around the hotel fills up with "ladies of the night" and other unsavoury types but during the day it's fine. * Our shower was rather annoying — we couldn't maintain a constant temperature and the water pressure was very weak. One second the water was cold then it would be scalding hot. Also, there was no shower head holder so you had to hold the shower head yourself.

Mediocre in any point of view (room, benefits).

The room is a little dark, the lighting does not help much. The walls are not insulated at all, as we had to listen to the guy snoring next room all night, but once he left, our problem was solved. The breakfast is good. There is a wide selection compared to other hotels. The Wi-Fi is not free. The air conditioner works well, so the rooms are very warm in the winter. We couldn't open our window for the smell from the kitchens.

Very good rooms and helpful staff. Even the breakfast was quite good and plentiful for Raman standards. Very good location near the Termini train station.

Just got back from a trip to Italy and Rome/Gioberti was our first stop. As we walked into the room my husband said, "The room is small. " I replied, "We are just here to sleep and take a bath. It will be ok. " And it was. Hotel is very well located — half a block from the train station — Termini station. It was great because we took the train in from the airport and the train out when we we went to Florence. And yes, the room is small but clean. We only stayed 3 nights — 3 or 4 days is all you need in Rome. The bath is tiny — shower is literally 2 x 2 and I would accidently bump the on/off water handle and turn the water off at times. If you are a large person, this might be a hassel for you. Breakfast was yogurt, cereal, pastry, can mixed fruit cocktail, juices, coffee, cheese/salami or some kind of thin meat. It was enough to get you going, but not a full buffet. People were real nice and helpful. We were there end of April and the weather was perfect — cool in the morning and night; just right during the day. Took two tours with "Angel" tours and I highly recommend this agency. Excellent tour guides, excellent tours and good prices. Look them up on the internet. Had a great time in Rome. Gioberti is a decent hotel but just a little pricey. More like a 3 star hotel rather than a 4 star hotel as advertised. Take the double decker tour bus — it is great — hotel has brochure. So, would I recommend the Gioberti? Yes, it is decent.

We stayed for 3 nights (Feb 2008). The staff at the desk and elsewhere was very nice and helpful, and gave us several good tips. For example, we wanted to buy some fresh pasta and the guy at the desk sent us to a very good place that is one of the oldest in Rome and appears to be very popular among locals. He even called the shop to make sure they still have pasta after a busy Saturday. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is very quiet although it is a two-minute walking distance from busy Termini and some busy streets. BTW, from the Termini it is possible to take busses to any corner of the city, and it is also where the two metro lines intersect, so the location is just perfect. The breakfast was simple (compared to what we are used to in Israeli Hotels) but was nice and quite tasty in European standards. On the downside, however, most food products – like jam, toasts and croissants – came in small individual packs, which is not very environmentally friendly. To sum up, we enjoyed our stay and we highly recommend this hotel.
