Nice room, staff, and breakfast Great location.

Very nice hotel. The room has high ceilings (at least 4 meters), air conditioning. Everything is neat and clean. Polite staff. A comfortable bathroom, which is important given the heat. Delicious breakfasts (buffet). Disadvantages: no railings on the stairs, the stairs themselves are steep. (But there is an elevator, so it's okay). There are small shops nearby. The hotel is fully in line with the three stars. But I give four)

Great coffee for breakfast, nice staff and close to the Roma Termini train station.

Not very cozy. A room without a window. Small. Incomprehensible smells.

Nice hotel in a good location. Unique rooms. There are even two-storey. The walls are not covered with wallpaper, but with a silk cloth. Good cafes and shops nearby. Of the minuses-inconvenient location of the elevator to get into it to go through the narrow corridor and overcome several steps. A narrow shower cubicle.

There was an a/c but for whatever reason they wouldn't let us turn it on because it wasn't the hot season yet. We got there mid May. It was plenty hot. There was a putrid smell coming from the drain in the bathroom. Smelled like a combination of sewage and decaying animal. So terrible it made me dry heave several times. Other than that the room was a good size.

Very shameful… 100 Euro 1 night and 1 breakfast… Room without air conditioning Not working Supplita with fan which however has occupied the only power outlet available in the room… No switch to turn off the lights of the bedside tables… (Unscrew the bulbs) … Panic Elevator… It would have been better to put "unusable" sign… Discouraged!

I really enjoyed my stay here. Close to the University, the Hospital and the Main terminal. Metro is very close, little shops and restaurants are on the same side of the street, safe neighborhood.

Not terrible but not great. We we're transferred to this hotel when our original booking told us that they made a mistake. Same cost to us with an "upgraded" room. Apparently by law the air conditioning is not allowed untill June 1st, so windows were opened, letting in street noise and mosquitoes. Also… The bathroom had a bad order and the shower was tiny…

Hotel very convenient area termini and near Metro station clean slightly small but definitely comfortable international breakfast good recommend it!

Disappointed: all the postcards deposited in the mailbox on the 18/6/2017 of the hotel have never arrived in France, despite the promise of the receptionist present that day that prompted us to do so. Also average comfort.

The breakfasts are delicious! The room was very cold. Asked for some heater, but only gave a blanket. But with the pledom in the bathroom will not go ( ( (

My stay was 3 nights, all perfect, I don't have a single complaint.

Wonderful staff, very helpful. Our room was charming and not to far so we were able to walk to many places.

Great location. The room was very dirty The food was very small Staff are not competent and unable to give directions. Offer of services that were not available (sightseeing tour tickets).

Only in the restaurant where there are typical and abundant dishes.

Terrible. Dirty, poorly kept, ıl TV remote control does not work, the shower falls apart, the leather sofa in the room and uncorked in more points, the air conditioner does not work even if out there are 27 ° C. They say it's only in the summer…
In any other European nation it would be 1 star. To avoid.

Good location close to the station.

The rooms are 2-seater good. 2x Storey! With a bathroom, where you can lie down! The breakfasts are wonderful! Staff were friendly and helpful. Talk. And the old elevator. Gets stuck.

The hotel obviously has rooms that span two levels (Livelli) and are connected by an internal staircase. I. E. : in the upper Livello there are beds in a very narrow room (and fridge! ), in the underlying (and below it is to take literally) also extremely narrow space of the rest. That may be quite romantic. But if every nocturnal need is connected with stairs-down-and-up-climbing, the romance remains on the track. In any case, after one night we gave another room at the same price, which was possible without any problems and with which we were also fully satisfied.
We do not want to blame the hotel for the fact that renovation work was underway. But that the elevator was in a pitiful external state and because of the noise development gave the impression that it could fall apart at any moment, is a little getting used to.
The "free" breakfast was in our opinion suitable to fill the belly, but not much more. Bread: false indication. Toast: Even after two passes through the toaster, the toast comes out almost exactly as it came.
Conclusion: The house has some of the charm of a youth hostel.

Holidays in Rome, the hotel seemed ideal, 3 star, but when they were passing the days, we realized it was frightening, the hotel is dirty, is noisy due to the works of the hotel itself, they touch the room at 8 in the morning if you olvias the sign of no moles Tar, the old MUI Mui Elevator, and it works regular, I don't recommend this hotel at all.

Good beds well and clean well communicated and very attentive workers.

This hotel has issues with hygiene, very dirty in the common areas. The breakfast was awful. The neighborhood does not look nice as there are a lot of trash around the hotel and homeless people.

A great Hotel the Pespectivas were overcome, the staff a lovely and very attentive at breakfast I was brought what I ordered soy yogurt tomatoes… all very rich and cozy, and to be 3 star what the bathrobe and slippers I loved. I recommend it.

Hotel in a neo-classical mansion, Wi-Fi and breakfast buffet included in the price of the quiet room.
Termini Station is about 300m.
To restore you, I recommend the restaurant Pizzeria bar TRossi, via Palestro, 57, facing the hotel. You will be very well received and can enjoy good Italian food.

Good hotel within walking distance to Termini station. Clean, quiet and that a good breakfast.

Great location near train station and all transportation… Good breakfast and amazing staff.

Historic hotel and currently being renovated. The rooms are in very good condition and quite comfortable. Breakfast is limited and European and, during my stay, the room on the floor — 1 in which it was served was freezing.

We stayed in the building next door, very very dirty the entrance and the elevator, the room acceptable.

Clean Hotel. Very nice staff. The rooms are comfortable and have a safe. I'm not sure if it was only for the period that I stayed, but the water consumption of the fridge was free. The breakfast was a bit poor. I went there at 9, 00 and found like sweet breakfast just a homemade cake and biscuits.

Terrible, bad smell in the room, Third world shower, cold water. Give you a judgement.

Staff was friendly and breakfast was great. Nice location within walking distance to Termini station. Beds not comfortable, mattresses were hard, but we had extra thicker blankets we put down and that helped.

Very good breakfast. The room was very clean. Rather, there was an imitation of windows with tightly closed blinds. The room was dark. Wi-Fi is unstable. All shower tubes were replenished regularly.

Highly recommended, it has the station termini stuck, to move by Metro to any place, and the very nice hotel, Louis XV style.

This is an unfussy hotel that's clean and in a great location. It's within walking distance to two metro stations which is very useful. Breakfast is simple but tasty. It's difficult to adjust the room temperature, but that's our only real complaint. It was fixed by opening the window.

I pay 90 euros per night and : -The room is very noisy -there is no heater in winter… not acceptable.

We stayed at Hotel Galles for four nights in November. The staff was friendly and helpful, fluent in English. Rooms were a decent size, and came with a stocked mini-fridge, though the mattresses were a bit firm for my liking. Great location four blocks north of Termini, and just a block from the Castro Pretoria metro stop, so it was easy to jump anywhere in the city. Would stay here again.

Fantastic location, helpful and friendly staff, nice rooms, solid breakfast. It's no Ritz, but for the price (included in our Gate 1 travel deal), it more than met expectations.

Good value for money, very nice rooms but maybe a little small. It is a very convenient place to get to with the car and public transportation. Advice for those who do business trips.

There was construction going on outside the hotel, renovations inside the hotel, the elevator did not always work, and I had to take shirts to a cleaner around the corner to be pressed. All of this means we had a delightful stay at Hotel Galles. Why, first because the staff was very helpful and accommodating, particularly Ubaldo. They acknowledged that things were inconvenient and apologized for the current condition, noting that it would be much nicer when renovations were complete — it is never easy to make improvements AND care for guests. Despite the construction, the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful with a variety of foods to choose from. A little more fresh fruit would be nice. I would certainly return, if only to see how it looks after the improvements.

Ongoing renovations but do not happen during rest periods. Air conditioning is off central system and not effective, better to open window. Location is central and very close to Rome Centrale train station. No compendium in room to offer services or local information. Breakfast is ok. Room is very clean and made up daily.

Staff is very friendly, but the shower did not work properly. The door would jam and took a few minutes to open and close properly. In addition, water would pool in the base unless the pressure was very low. I spoke to other guests who had similar issues with the shower.

I wish I could star it zero! Horrible horrible experience! My second day here ans what an absolute waste of money! I arrived and was told theyvare moving me to thier annexe hotel which is actually a b&b! As there was issue with the Ac. Came To this hotel which is tiny and to my suprise the Ac was not working here either… numerous complaints and nothing was done. Receptionist dont pick the extension has to leave my kids three times sleeping to go ans speak to them… next day after alot of argument they changed our room and here also Ac is nit working! The room is boiling And all my kids ate crying! What a shame… would never recommend anyone to stay here, they are cheaters as the receptionist today told me the actual hotel was full thats why theu moved is here!

Hotel is overall clean and well kept. Light renovations were happening and the elevator is quite small but this is to be expected of a hotel of this age. Overall good experience, especially considering the location.

The hotel is located just minutes from Termini station, in an area full of locales. The rooms are very large.

Not so good feeling because rooms were old style, deep interior location in the hotel reaching room was like a maze, lift not working sometimes, breakfast fast was worst for vegetarians.

Hello I was 2 years ago and I found myself very well. Rooms clean breakfast plentiful, close to the station. In fact in August we return.

It looks dusty, but clean and with courteous staff. Not very comfortable.

It's a nice hotel but you can feel it's old. We're told that we get free breakfast by the night guy when we checked in. Went for breakfast next morning and were told we need to pay.

A good Hotel near Termini Station and the Metro Castri Pretorio. The single room is not very spacious but I found it clean. The clean bathroom lacked a shelf to put the ball of the shampoo. Breakfast is good. The staff is courteous and attentive to the customer, despite this, on my arrival I noticed the TV in the room not working, this was not replaced and much less I was advised that it would remain inefficient.
Advice a little more care to the services provided.

LOCATION — The location was decent. If you are a walker, it's within walking distance to all the major tourist locations of Rome, such as the Colosseum, Circus Maximus, etc. If you're not much of a walker, you may feel a bit removed. There's no view from the hotel rooms. The street the hotel is on feels safe enough. HOTEL — The room was OK. If you're from North America, you will find the room small, but that is just hotels in Italy, and much of Europe in general, rather than a problem with this hotel specifically. There were a number of small issues with the room, such as the bed was very low to the ground, the bathroom door had no lock, the door to the bedroom didn't fully close, the window lock was a bit finicky. Nothing worth voicing a complaint to the staff, but overall it was mediocre. STAFF — Most of our interaction with the staff was asking for information about the tours we'd booked. Some of them were very helpful, some of them were not as helpful. But I will say, it was always easy to find someone speaking English. A number of the staff behind the desk spoke at least 3 languages.

We stayed my husband and I for 2 nights. We enjoyed it, both for the cleaning and for the Room. The only downside is that to have breakfast you had to go out and go around, and the second on the mattress, it was very uncomfortable! Very nice staff!

Nice and comfy room with a balcony. Would defo stay again on our next visit to Rome.

My room was spacious, clean. Very good quality bedding. The bathroom included a shower that worked perfectly. I really enjoyed the soundproofing. I welcome the availability, kindness and competence of the staff at the reception which is expressed in French.

Unusual old hotel. Beds can be drawn together and push, with a headboard attached to some kind of guide. Winters are cool and wet.

Not recommend booking this hotel. You actually book a room at a different hotel when you book Hotel Galles.

Quiet hotel great location nice enough breakfast.

Very interesting, in a very quiet location for Termini station. Subway and bus are right at your fingertips. Very good service with a very rich breakfast (American, and no extra charge). Da ritornarci.
