It is good place to stay for couple of nights only in case, if you wouldn't spend much time inside the room:) Our room was small, walls were dirty, but bed and wc were really clean. And it is the most important. It is perfect and cheap place to stay (we booked it for 20€ for 2 persons per night). As well you will recieve good sandwich + tea breakfast Recommend for tourist and for people who need only bed&breakfast:)

Of the pros: location, breakfast, good mattress, linen, daily towel replacement and washing products, staff, free Wi-Fi in all rooms. Minus: no sound insulation, no air conditioning.

Pros: 1. Great location-Termini station in 5-10 minutes walk, Coliseum in 30 minutes.
2. Breakfast is decent-different bread, Italian crackers, cheese, butter, sausage, coffee, juice, water, tea, cocoa. You can ask for "additives" 3. Daily cleaning, clean towels, linen, bath accessories.
4. The beds are comfortable, the cot is also good-clean, the mattress is not too soft.
Very friendly staff. Some of the staff speak Russian, but even those who do not understand Russian can easily find a common language.
Cons: 1. Too small bathroom. And we always had a sink.
2. Floor covering in the room-palace, which is not very clean, all in the hair and stains.

As a Hotel itself nothing exceptional, is a 2 ⭐ ⭐ but has the bathroom in the room, breakfast served at the table, and above all friendliness and kindness today very rare and priceless. For me it deserves 4 or 5 ⭐ ⭐

I went there 6 years ago and a friend of mine last month, both were surprised at the bad smell of the bathroom, the cleanliness of the rooms and the quality of the lunch… To believe that this hotel does not evolve.

Our stay was horrible! The rooms were dirty and there was mould in the shower. The breakfast seemed old and tasted horrible. As well, the surrounding of the hotel seemed dangerous, so I would be afraid to get out of the hotel alone at night!

We spent four nights at this hotel as seen in the pictures the room was in pretty bad condition and the cleanliness was scarce. Its location is very good as it is a couple of minutes from Termini station. Breakfast consists of coffee, juice and a basket with a bollito, a few slices of sausage, French toast and jams.
It is a hotel only acceptable to those on a tight budget and just need the room to spend the night and get cleaned up.

I'm afraid I can't say too much about this hotel. But what I will say is that the staff are fantastic. Friendly, cheerful, helpful. And there were signs that the building might be being readied for a much needed refurbishment.

Everything was fine. Only problem was the shower where the water doesn't drain properly. Other than that all is well.

Very basic hotel as far as American standards go. Soap and shampoo were provided. Staff was friendly! Spoke English. The breakfast provided was nice! Has American toilet! Huge bonus points!

Without prejudice to the individual courtesy of the staff at the reception, otherwise I am sorry to say, it would be a place that the NAS should close. Decrepit and indecent are the only adjectives that I feel I use, two nights nightmare, immersed in a constant and persistent stench of sewer. Furniture, floors and walls worthy of a "shantytown".

Bad boy. The best breakfast and the reception. Then bad and dirty. Written everywhere. The Wi-Fi the worst in Europe. Location thousand points.

The attention is very good. But I had booked a room for two and got one for 4, the room was dark and it was scary to inhabit it. But the breakfast was the best, a rich breakfast.

Terrible hotel! Small rooms, shabby walls. An uncomfortable shower, everything flows to the floor. No TV, hairdryer. Of good only staff and breakfast.

Only advantage: Close to the train station.
However, those who are not afraid to walk, reach all the sights on foot. On the maps it always looks so far and Google also shows stations that are actually 5m from a way, that they are 40 m far away and you 7min need to walk for it. Prefer the money for the subway etc. Save.
Room: The smallest room we've ever had. You can hardly turn in the room. The staff were very helpful. You can't even play a video on your phone without being knocked on the walls or someone standing at the door. And since Italians don't even have a quiet organ when they talk to uniting, I don't want anyone in the next room just as we had it. After the third time, they had to make themselves aware that we came over and then went to sleep.
Key: is a normal key on a überdemensionalem pendant. The key must be given out when you leave the hotel. When you come back just call the room number. So you could theoretically gain access to any room, because it is not checked whether I am actually checked in to the room I call the staff at the counter.
Breakfast: The breakfast was nothing special. No self service at the buffet. For 2 people you get a Körpchen with 2 rolls, 2 slices of toast, small packs of different kinds of jam and Nutella. A plate with 2 strips of ham, 2 strips of cheese and 2 slices of salami. Tada that breakfast is served.
Cleanliness: Rooms are cleaned every day.

A hotel near the station of Rome, to my taste very well located, the breakfast great, the rooms passable. To spend a few days in Rome and just go to sleep I see great but if you want to spend more time in the hotel then better look at another.

It is a hotel that represents that value for money. Very cheap, the rooms not very large and with lack of maintenance (paint the wall), even so, the beds are comfortable, clean sheets, clean towels every day and good shower and heating. It is ideal if you want to go to sleep alone, does not have luxuries, like television.
As a very positive aspect is its location, two blocks from Termini station, which allows you to catch both city buses and the airport in less than 5 minutes. It is also a 3-minute walk from Santa Maria la Magiore.

Clean, cheap, comfy, customer friendly, close to the main station. A great place to park while you explore Rome.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Ideal Hotel for travelers who want to get to know the city and just go to sleep. Very good breakfast!

Cons: It smells like a sewer all over the hotel, tiny bath, filthy walls, soil shattered and dirty, there was even a rusty nail with the tip up in my room, the beds or opened them, I slept in a sack over the bed, there is heating but not worth anything anymore You have to sleep with the windows open to not be intoxicated, not television.
Pros: Nice staff, Wi-Fi, in the very centre of Rome, €40 x 2 people, before charging you they show you the room.
Conclusion: I think there are some better and even cheaper or like that.

Cheap and well located for close proximity to Termini station, 3/4 minute walk but little clean with a poor breakfast.

Dirty rooms and bare broken furniture seem eaten by mice and termites (my girlfriend and I took the 301) on the fact of the space I have to say that and gigantic the room as a sweet but there a double bed and two singles, very noisy room poor bed Uncomfortable and full of creaking sounds like they fall apart sharp corners throughout the machete room of a beautiful blue but (dirty) and to say little "dingy" and more suitable, full of spots everywhere and patches that look like vomiting blood or feces I'm afraid to walk barefoot, but also with the shoes to tell the truthful truth the walls full of patches and stains like the carpet, to go to the bathroom I have to climb on a step that reaches me almost to the knee, well 40 cm maybe more obviously all the wall below the step and full of mould and falls to half I, like the walls in the rest of the room, I would call it more prison cell by appearance if it were smaller it would seem a prison cell, and a double color white and gray adding the fact that and strip the room seems almost macabre, you do not Obviously, that even in the worst hotels CE is, that is fundamental in every hotel and motel, the Wi-Fi CE but the password and written only at the reception down, the bathroom and small and horrendous I'm afraid to take a shower but also to go to the bathroom, the tablet of the cup from white and become of a hideous yellow and and all full of stains everywhere like in the rest of the room, only one towel to dry the whole body here

I found myself very well, because I booked in December there was a discount of 19, 00 euros for one night and I was with my two daughters they gave me a fairly large and tidy room. The next day the breakfast was a bomb. So stop complaining! For cleaning I have nothing to say because it is an old hotel, so it does not have to do with cleanliness, the walls were dirty because there are rude customers that put their feet on the wall. And for the bathroom you say it stinks is normal because even at home, wrapped, smells out of the sewer.

Here's a 2-star rating for a 2-star hotel. Hotel Acropoli is a basic hotel for the budget-conscious traveller. The walls of our room were dirty, there were traces of colored letterings and drawings. I also had a feeling the toilet bowl would come out anytime because it was moving. Seriously. The carpets need serious deep cleaning, glad we brought slippers. It says room comes with electric fan but we didn't find any. We didn't bother asking because we only came back at night to sleep and we just opened the windows for the cool breeze. On the positive note, there's a complimentary breakfast and it is very accessible to public transport, walkable to Roma Termini and points of interest. Souvenir stores, restaurants are within arms reach. I also liked that the surrounding was very festive but it quieted down at around midnight so we still had a good night sleep. There's Wi-Fi. So there you go… (I wrote the same review on booking dot com)

Good service, very small bathroom.

Excellent location, 30 minutes walk to the main attractions, to the Vatican hour, Termini Station is a 10-minute walk away. The hotel itself is of course modest! small room, the same breakfasts, but some of the staff speaks at the Russian and always consult sit in on how to get to a given place, daily cleaning and changing clothes. Be sure to come again, the pros outweigh all the drawbacks)

Horrible Hotel. It is true that the price is low but the rooms are disgusting and the bathrooms pitiful. Booked through Booking where they have placed photos Pintonas and has a 6 over 10. Breakfast acceptable for price. Clean sheets and towels Ok and hotel staff very friendly. But in this case, the 2 stars you have to remove 3. It is often said, that by the standards to which we are accustomed the Spaniards, when you travel to France or Italy "is removed" one. So this time 3.

Acropolis had all that I needed for my short stay in Roma: For a budget price, this hotel is excellent. Amazing location — walk from Roma Termini (train station) Clean and well maintained interiors Nice breakfast (included in the package) Helpful staff Baggage store facility — in case you need to leave your luggage after check-out and pick it later in the day. Pesimo. No use for sleeping… Cleanliness 0 Hotel without paint dirty, the color of the carpet is blue and some places is yellow… Nothing advisable 0, 0.

In my room incomfortable beds, walls with comments that have been cockroaches, which is a very crappy hotel etc.
They haven't reformed it, or painted it for many years.
The only thing was the maid of the friendly breakfast and the coffee with milk good.
Location in the centre of Rome. You can visit sites or public transport.
Wi-Fi does not reach the plants. Only at reception.

Room so Spartan to envy one of the 300! Ok, spacious, but with zero furniture; A little more than a bed store since there were five in a double… 2 stars only for breakfast, which view the quality room (to mention: No hair dryer, little heating working, very small bathroom and with a perennial smell), we were pleasantly surprised.

Fab location, friendly reception, exceptionally clean, welcoming breakfast, ham, cheese, jam, lovely bread, cappacino and juice. Reading other reviews, we were concerned, it is a budget hotel, but towels and sheets are new and the room was cleaned daily, there was plenty of of hot water and it was very peaceful, there is a smell from the shower but, it's not the fault of the hotel, I smelt it in other places in Rome, the hotel has free Wi-Fi and you can leave your luggage with reception on the day you leave, I would recommend and without doubt stay again.

The rooms are lowercase, the rooms not hot enough, the Wi-Fi is too slow and the service not top however it is close to all the monuments and all types of shops.

We stayed at this hotel during our layover in Rome. It seemed like an affordable and okay option but I have to admit that it was quite disappointing. There were bugs in the bathroom, the water pressure was not good and there was no hot water. Close to termino train station but otherwise not great.

Sorry… terrible. Super noisy, no phone or tv, and the price was not "low" enough to justify the lack. Did I mention the noise? All… night… long… neighbors actually yelling, echoing up in the courtyard into the windows. I did like the marble stairs. And this is good, as the lift looked unstable. Will find another place when we go back.

Hotel is located nicely. The stay was fine but not good. The beds where really close tot eachother and did't get cleaned Daily. They just put the blankets back on. Breakfast and service where fine. Out room had just one small electrical fan and a window. The rooms where really silent. Our toilet had mould in it. The walls had marks on it and the toilet had no locks (in a family room). I provided some pictures with my revieuw. I have been in two other rooms from Friends. Both had the same or comparable conditions, exept from the mould in our bathroom.

Simple, understated, clean hotel. Very friendly staff. Located in a neighborhood of great sidewalk cafes and within walking distance of Trevi Fountain, the Basilica Papale di Santa Maria Maggiore, and the Spanish Steps. Enjoy the ambiance and walk to the Termini Station to get on the Hop On Hop Off buses for a relaxing tour of Rome.

I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, dirty everywhere even the walls are smeareded with dirt. I felt dirty for a month I threw everything I had with me in that room, pajamas, slippers etc etc.

Rooms are very basic. Breakfast is very good and a great start to the day. Staff are lovely and kind I would stay there again. Price is amazing with breakfast.

This hotel was basic but you get what you pay for. Wifi is only in the lobby. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a good location. Fine if you're traveling to Rome on a budget.

Location, service and price are spot on. We wanted a cheap but good room in the center of Rome and they delivered. If you want to be treated like in the Hilton's then be prepared to pay for it ;)

Stinky mildew from all the small bathroom parts with a step at the entrance of 50 centimeters the closet furniture and broken bedside tables and they seemed eaten by Tarli… the room 307… no bidet. Smelly and dirty we could not bathe at my daughter of 5 months xcHe free of hygiene… in the corridor a Water control unit… down at the reception a row of foreigners who occasionally salivated on with different men and in the end had the courage to ask me an That 3 euro x tourist tax… being in 3 = 9 euros… a triple that really pitiful x one night at the cost of 65 euros through agency… l only thing an Italian guy at the reception kind who almost was afraid to give us a room of the genus Prasentandoci as a family. Knowing the way to go customers…

I DO NOT RECOMMEND EVEN MY ENEMY! the truth a disaster from cleaning up to dealing with people, you don't have air conditioning, has no fan don't have tv the room has a musty smell the walls are dirty towels are bed linen, wi fi does not walk never I also wanted to buy a coffee at the machine and served me a small cup for less than half. A disaster that does not deserve not one star, it deserves half a star only because it's close to the terminal and has a queen bed.

A patterned carpet stains, heating almost out, and no TV in room saddened and bare.
And the bathroom? Two little doors. You think you find the ironing board, instead one gives on the sink, and the other opens onto a cup canned in the wall, had to keep the knees and legs in the room.

We reserved one double room, they gave us a 5 persons room and we felt as in a camp. The window didn't close, so we had to sleep on 13 december with semi-opened window and it was very cold. The walls were wery bad looking, and the bathroom even worst. Next day they moved us in a standard double room. It was pretty ok, the bathroom looks ok, and same the room, but still cold. There was warm water so the shower was ok. The breakfast consist in: tea/coffee etc, bread, butter, chocolate and marmelade. The Wi-Fi. Works only on the reception!

Typical cheap hotel in the area of termini station, it does not have anything special, only the location, cleanliness, fair, breakfast poor but it is cheap and well located.

For the price, you can probably no comfort to expect. Our room was clean and for Sleeping absolutely okay. The staff at the reception were friendly. Also, you can from the Hotel everything super to foot reach.

Perfect in price and quality. It is very well located, half a minute from Termini. We were in a room with a double bed, perfectly clean, with own bathroom. Every day they clean the room and leave you clean towels. The included breakfast is very good, coffee, muffins, toast, jams, marmalade several and nutella. The staff is very friendly. One drawback is that you only get Wi-Fi in the reception. It is an area with a lot of life, there are always people in the street and many restaurants. As a conclusion, if you don't want to spend a lot and you want a hotel to take a shower and sleep is a great option, highly recommended.

I agree with ramonin ruiz, or in the deepest of the fabelas really things like that, we even managed to see rats not to mention the fedor that follows and the accumulated moisture, it seems that it is more ancient than the colosseum, the owners are ethnic roma and inhospitable, not to mention the sheets and pillows for the beds which are trash, in short it is the worst hotel you can find, gastaros more money and go somewhere decent.

We stayed 4 days for Christmas. Great location because it is located close to the termini station and the main means of transport.
The room was clean, bed sheets and towels.
In the walls of the room (because of customers just behaved! ) there were shoe prints.
Typical Italian breakfast (good) in a nice environment.
The staff was very friendly; has allowed us to leave the luggage up to our evening departure.
The only flaw on heating, a bit too low.

We went here with school and there was nothing wrong with my own room. It was small, but we had everything we needed. In the other rooms however there were a lot of problems. People had no hot water in the shower, had no toilet seat and last of all there were bed bugs. The whole hotel had them. My room was one of the few that didn't spot them but they were everywhere. I know you shouldn't excpect much of a low star hotel, but having bed bugs is really disgusting.

Good value for money, clean, good breakfast, friendly waitresses, cleaning and receptionists. Perfect location.

Very dirty room, Sockets were broken, window could not be closed, was everywhere in the bathroom mold it smelled musty, the staircase was also filthy, the grille of the elevator was a thick layer of dust and
on the morning of the departure were the buns for the hotel guests open on this grid. Not a good idea.

One of the worse hotels I ever been and the hight price for accommodation does not match living conditions.

Really basic room-had a hole in the wall with wiring in it=very unsafe. The beds were ok and the bathroom was fine but the shower was more like a wash room. My main complaint would be breakfast — we paid extra for it and you receive a bit of stale bread with nutella or butter. Really unacceptable. We stayed in lots of hostels on our stay in europe and can say that all of them were much better than this hotel. I don't know how it got two stars. However if you're looking for a bed for a cheap night, it's fine. Very close to the station too and the reception staff are very polite and friendly.

All very well but do not have air conditioning in the rooms.

A single word flee this hotel, very dirty with carpets out of time furniture that are ready to fall on the floor. The breakfast was not very good without orange juice or yogurt in a small burying room.
The receptionists are nice, but I'm full of them working in this kind of hotel!

DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL! I book online a double room with double bed, and that is what I found? a room almost in ruins, in an environment of very third world hotel, the room 6 beds! the room smelled damp and rot, the bathroom was disgusting! After seeing all this I and my partner decided to cancel the reservation (we cost €43) and search for a hotel in the area. Leaving from the hotel on the street 50 meters find the Serena Hotel, where us cost €65 per night and we were very comfortable, that if that area a hotel, not the Acropolis of the balls! DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL EVER.

This hotel is just SO hard to explain. So I'll just tell you a little 'bout it. Some people say cold showers are refreshing, at this hotel, that will be your only option. If you love the sound of car-washes, you'll enjoy said sound every time any room touching yours flushes the toilet. Our room had the added feature of in-room snacks — — — smeared into the carpet. The beds left much to be desired, as did the slightly scary and not-at-all-confidence-inspiring neighborhood around Termini Station. During your stay, if you're in search for a more private room by the hourly rate, "Hotel Champagne Palace" (actual name. Not joking) is right across the street and I imagine they would be quite accommodating. I never left valuables in the room, but I did overhear a lady loudly "discussing" with the front desk that one of the cleaning crew had taken it upon himself to permanently borrow €70 she had left in her luggage. Free Wi-Fi? HA! Wi-Fi, period?! HAHAHAHHAH! right. Well, we paid €100/night for one room w/ three people, and that was about €90 too much for this Hell hole. If you're looking at it purely from a "we didn't get murdered" standpoint, this hotel is worth 5 stars. From any other standpoint and it's hardly worth one.

Thank God we have abandoned this hotel as soon as he withdrew money for booking with fare payment at: (Money still knock on the hotel link does not come out, the letters did not respond. Don't mess with this hotel.
