Lovely hotel. A little far out from city center but easy access to trains.

Average… In reservations must enter the 1 breakfast.

The staff was helpful and understanding, even though being a four star hotel I was expecting a bit more but overall it was not a bad experience.

Cheap hotel, on the outskirts. Easy to get into central rome. 10 mins to metro and a further 4 stops to colloseum. If your not looking for luxury and wanting a cheap place then this would be great. Only showers no bath. Bar staff very friendly. Concierge not so much. I went to speak to him and he was on his mobile for 10 mins with what looked like a private conversation and gave me no eye contact. I left before he got off the phone.

Really nice hotel in Rome within walking distance of the subway and buses. Not sure if it's the best place to be walking back to late in the evening. Since we were not familiar with the area, my wife and I made it a point to be in the hotel before dark. We also had our 8 year old son with us.

To be considered as a 3 star and nn a 4. Toilet broken, broken bidet reportedly several times to staff but nn served nothing. Very clean and very small rooms.

Adequate structure for small periods of stay. Reliable service is the welcome.

We have had a really nice stay, staff are really polite and helpful. The whole hotel is really clean and our room is more than adequate for a sight seeing trip. We found the Metro a really easy way of travelling. We came mid week so not many places open to eat in the evenings but we did find a great little take away just passed the Metro station.

The staff are amazing. Im staying here for 7 nights and I think the room is grand. Cleaned everyday. Fresh linen. Breakfast is good. The food next door is great. Everything you need is within walking. I would defo be back again. Hotel saint paul is a very relaxed and chilled out hotel to stay.

Small rooms, cheap towels, and not a very comfy bed. The hotel is located in a poor area which doesn't feel safe, especially on a night. Also a rubbish bathroom, the shower is way too small.

We checked in for a 2 day stay. Our roo. Was ready by 11 50 am which was early. Room wasn't up to expectations so we made a complaint to the front desk and were immediately upgraded to a triple room. There was no hesitation. Would recommend this hotel. Location is remote but metro is close and very easy to navigate.

Hotel in a small street secondary to 10 min from the metro, nice and clean rooms, but not exactly spacious, helpful and friendly staff.

Very nice hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room just the right size for a sight seeing holiday. Very clean and comfortable. Restaurant next door has lovely food. Very close by out door pool for very good price. Not too far from the metro and it's easy to use. Highly recommended. Nice continental breakfast too. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel Saint Paul, is a lovely hotel it's one major weakness really is the distance from central Rome, it a 1 hour walk from the Colosseum which is a lot considering the back and forth. Buses trains and taxis are possible but that's more money and I like my money to be mine really. Its well priced well staffed and there is little to complain about the actual hotel. Staff and service is excellent, everyone is as helpful and kind as can be. Even when I asked for a cup of just hot water the didn't even blink an eye; I really wanted a cup of tea and had all the ingredients in my room. The room I had was kind of smaller than I expected, it was suitable for my needs but a slightly larger room would have been nice. Hope that helped. Have a great time where ever you end up staying.

Hotel staff are fabulous, so very helpful with every request. Housekeeping were wonderful — serviced our room in the afternoon as we had a long lay in. Location is not great, no taxi drivers knew where this was — 1 picked us up from city centre, I showed him the address several times and he took us somewhere completely different then admitted he was lost so took us to a taxi rank where he dropped us off so we could get another taxi! Hotel is 1hr walk/20 min metro/45 min bus ride/€20 taxi fare away from city. Public transport shuts down at 11.30pm so if you are planning on staying out late every night factor the taxi costs in. Area is not very pretty, lots of graffiti and rubbish on the streets. Hotel itself is beautiful and clean, nice marble floors, breakfast is good. Room 405 was small but functional. Bathroom could do with being updated as taps are discoloured and shower squirts water in all directions. Air con works well but is noisy. Wouldn't stay again — no reflection on the hotel but the location is too far for us.

Lovley little hotel very nice friendly and helpful staff I am ceoliac and was given a gf breakfast everyday, nice room cleaned everyday cant fault it a little out from rome but metro just 10 minute walk.

I visited the restaurant/diner on the occasion of a convention. Not bad the variety and the quality of dishes available, while still remaining a diner.

Hotel was very nice and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable but not very big. No tea or coffee on arrival in rooms which was a let down. Directions to the tram or bust station could be more clearer.

Very friendly and helpful staff, lovely breakfast. Metro only 10 minute walk with good connections to all the city attractions. Room — we are looking over the restaurant / bar which is next to the hotel, music a little loud in the evenings — couldn't really have window open. There is a mini bar / fridge, all is payable. There isn't any coffee or tea facilities which is a down side, no local mini supermarket or corner shops. Shower is on the small side also.
However, would stay here again.

We stayed here in April, it was quite a way from Rome city, but the metro is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel, there is not many places to eat we ate in the same restaurant every night the food was amazing as it isn't a tourist place many locals eat there most nights, a short walk away is the beautiful San paulo Basilica a must see for everyone. The only downside is that the hotel has to charge tax at the end of your stay which can work out rather expensive if you have a group of people staying.

The hotel is very nice and the staff too! The breakfast is international and the rooms are clean. Only a small problem: on morning the light pass through the windows and can wake up you very early. Take a mask to solve it.

I was there for two nights, the rooms are spotless and have everything you could want from a small room, the prices are low and the staff is so nice.
The included breakfast is good and offers a decent selection.

Don't believe everything you read on here. This hotel was very cleann. The rooms were adequate and the bed and towels changed daily. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is only 6 stops on the metro to the coluseum and easy from there to get to the Vatican. By the breakfast was continental and plentiful.

I thought it was in excellent condition, certainly there is the view of the Colosseum but convenient to the metro and to the means to the Center, and the value for money seems very good.

I don't understand how it can be defined in four stars. Cramped rooms, bathroom in poor condition, though the staff is very friendly.

First of all, and the worst part of the hotel, is that when we first checked in at the hotel, a woman at the reception told us it is okay to check out late, at 6 p. M. On Sunday, as we had requested, without any charge. But, on Sunday, when we asked about out late check out, a man at the reception told us that that was not possible, and that something like that was not written on our reservation. He told us that the best he could do was for us to check out at 1, without charge, or at 4, with 30 extra euros charge. So, our whole plans for the day could not be done. Secondly, the Air Condition never worked. Thirdly, the breakfast was definitely not worth for a 4 star hotel, the variety and the tastes were awful. And last, the room and the whole hotel needs a renovation immediately, as it is full of dirt.

I spent one night here one weekend in February, with my girlfriend.
Let me start by saying that it is a 4 star hotel only on paper, perhaps to a 3 star hotel. But just to be kind!
We start from the room: tiny, advertised with a non-existent "bathtub" on the site from which I booked, bathroom tiny no space in which to get around.
Beds: mattress "double" consisting of two single mattresses. Placed on separate beds with wheels! Result? Every movement was dividing the two beds and created a hole in the middle between the two beds!
Moreover, the rooms are not soundproof, at 8:30 the housekeeping staff began to clean the room speaking aloud, using vacuum cleaner and slamming doors and cabinets. Result? We slept later than 8:30 (was also Saturday! ).
Only "positive" Note the rather low price. But I would have gladly paid more to be treated decently.

Nice and friendly staff. Breakfast ok and plenty of it, so good start for the day. Handy for sight seeing in Rome. Metro 10 min walk from the hotel. Don't be put off by the area looking run down. It's the same all over. Bar is open 24/7. Free Wi Fi (speed when tested was on the slow side). Draw backs are no food available after breakfast and no kettle in the rooms so if like me you need a cuppa in the morning or before you retire bring a travel kettle, tea bags with you. Having said that, a cup of tea will cost €1.50 and there is a great little family run restaurant (Trattoria Dell'Omo) 2 min walk from the hotel (doesn't open on Wednesdays).

The hotel (4 stars) with very small rooms built with walls of plasterboard (so every little noise is amplified because the walls vibrate), also next to the hotel there is a restaurant with loud music that the fixtures (very old) made of wood with single glazing cannot be filtered. Small bathroom with the door lock that crashed. Normal cleaning. However, professional and kind staff.

Small double room, we asked separate beds and were two centimeters from each other shower broken and if you weren't looking forward to remain locked in bathroom for closing door that crashed.

Very friendly staff, breakfast OK, at 10 minutes from the metro station of São Paulo, rooms a bit small but clean and with all the comforts. Value for money very good.

Generally good, but the Wi-Fi internet is the shower small and payment. Clean and excellent care.

Although the neighborhood can be a little scary looking (the graffiti doesn't help) the hotel was very nice. The service was good and very friendly. The bed are very hard, but after walking all day it felt good to lay down.

I must be brief:
Very well equipped us very clean room.
very good breakfast, but in the basement without Windows.
Very good price performance ratio.
10 minutes walk to the subway with a direct connection to the Centre (10 minutes)
I can only recommend this hotel to anyone.

Quiet, comfortable, close to the metro and bus, good service, good breakfast. Value for money, good.
