Hotel Aurelius

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful. Everything was perfect—from the beautiful atmosphere to the exceptional cleanliness. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made our experience even more enjoyable.
The location is excellent, with both a metro station and a bus station very close by, making it easy to get around the city.
We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. 😁

One of the best experiences we had over the years with accomodation.
20 min from the airport and 20 min from the city of Rome. Metro station is 2 min by walking. Food and restaurants with good food 2 min. The manager is super professional and really nice guy. Towels changed every day and new shampoos.

Everything was as expected and agreed, including all special requests were done. Precisely. Smart choice and great value for those who are balancing between hotel prices, service quality and location in Rome. Good choice of restaurants and coffee shops nearby.

Shout out to the receptionist Elmer who let us check in late and also allowed us to keep the bags throughout the day. The hotel is good in terms of service and location. AC was working fine. Walls are a bit thin so outside voice was coming in but not a deal breaker.

Stayed for 4 nights in July.
The hotel was ok for what we needed. The room was clean upon arrival and had a. C which was greatly appreciated.
It was close to the metro and many bus stops which was helpful.
The main concern we had was upon returning to our room after a day out we realized the room service team had not closed our door properly.
We brought this up with reception and they apologized but this definitely left a unsettling feeling. We didnt ask for any more service after this. Elmer who appears to be the manager (there was no one else we saw) was nice but the hotel definitely would benefit from more reception staff who are readily available.
I wanted to give 4 stars but this is more of a 3 star hotel.

The room was large and clean, but we were accommodated on the ground floor, and sometimes when other guests were talking or leaving, it sounded as if they were in the room with us. Other than that, everything was fine: the air conditioning worked, and the metro station was nearby.

It was a great stay at the Aurelius art gallery hotel for 2 nights. We booked triple room directly from the hotel website and I thought it was a good deal. Room was very nice, with clean bed and bathroom. Interiors of the hotel looks interesting, sculptures of roman emperors, good to stop by for some cool pics. The staff was very polite and friendly, the receptionist recommended a good restaurant Joseph’s nearby which was quite nice. Best part of this hotel was its location, just 5 mins walk from Cornelia metro station, with the metro running well past midnight, we had great experience enjoying the fantastic sights in Rome. Vatican museums are just 4 metro stops away, and Spanish steps also very accessible on the same line A. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel due to its great accessibility via metro and good staff/ambience. Do check for good deals on their website.

Location:
— 8-10 min walk with luggage from the Cornelia Metro station and an easy metro ride to every where else — Termini, Colosseum, Vatican, etc.
— quite a few bus stops all around the hotel if that's your chosen mode of transport. I was visiting the Foro Italico Tennis stadium and it was quite easy to get there by bus / metro though it's a good 40-45 min commute with changes.
— 5 minute walk to the SIT Bus airport shuttle pickup / drop point.
— the surrounding area is not very up class but you won't feel unsafe. It seemed more like a middle-class, working population locale with a lot of young crowds.
— Lots of cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, small shops, etc. Around.
Room:
— Room category: "Lovely Room"
— Large Comfortable bed in a clean, spacious room.
— The room has beautiful decor with roman marble sculptures.
— Loved the quirky touch of a life-size mirror on the ceiling — yes the ceiling! it was fun taking OOTD selfies lying on the bed every morning!
— Huge bathroom area with a host of amenities including a multi-shower cubicle, a personal sauna cabinet, and a massage chair.
— Only grouse I had was the towels had a strong vinegar-y smell. Probably came from the strong chemicals used to clean them.
— No view — but you don't go to Rome for one from the room, do you?

Nice boutique hotel, but few unnecessary stairs, would be hassle if you are bringing large luggage.
Tourist tax at 6e/person/night.
My room has tiny window.
Staff is kind enough to help us to book a taxi to go to bus stop, location is great, just a minutes away to reach metro (do remember, Rome metro station has no elevator to the ground).

The hotel staff are very nice and our room with a terrace was so comfortable. We enjoyed eating on the terrace while relaxing from the busy days while visiting Rome. The mattresses on the beds were so comfortable. Also Cornelia metro station was just around the corner so to speak, about 5 mins walking from the hotel. We will definitely recommend and will choose it again if we come again to Rome.

It was amazing. Close to the metro station and local shops and eateries. Our room was a bit small but clean.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Would appreciate one news station in English though we are picking up the most important words as we go along.

Very friendly, helpful staff. The rooms were very clean, and the location of the hotel is very good. Metro around the corner and only 4 stops from the Vatican. You can use for 6€ per Tour p. P. A Shuttle bus of the company SIT from the airport FCO and back. Station, approx 4 minutes from the Hotel. I would very like to come again.
